My church submitted a brief proposal and was one of those selected for a grant sufficient to groom a dozen needy trees on our site in the international district. Baca's crew was on time and very efficiently and carefully trimmed the trees and mulched the limbs removed. Their clean-up was exemplary, and at our request they even placed half of the mulch on a small public open space across from the church. That open space was also created a decade ago with significant help from Baca's, who provided many of the plants used as well as site prep and irrigation materials, all as a community service. At my own nearby home in 2020, Baca's Trees crew expertly removed two huge juniper trees planted too close to the house 65 years ago.
