This past Friday, the plumber ripped up the whole northside of the turf and discovered two more leaks. On 4 separate occasions I contacted Vince, the owner of the company, at two different phone numbers and he has to date never responded to any of my Text messages. Since customer service is first and foremost in any busines, do you really think that this is the way he should treat people???

He repaired about 20 feet of drip sprinklers and buried them in less than thirty minutes. Mike was prompt, on time, told me what he was doing. I will use them again. Before I could publish this, I did have Sprinkler Expert out. I had a leak in an old sprinkler system. Mike arranged for a couple of guys to come out. They fixed the leak and installed new manifold. It was quick. The price was less that any other quote I received.

The most recent incident their lawn mower stopped working in the middle of mowing our lawn, we were told they would be out first thing the next morning. The next morning I had to call and ask when they would arrive and David Peltz tells me they would be back sometime in the afternoon or the next day. No concern at all they left a job unfinished. Who leaves a job unfinished, with no call to the customer or at least an apology for the inconvenience. A company that doesn't value their customers. The previous issue we had with Empire was the same kind of lack of pride in their work. We asked for some basic mowing and edging to be completed, the job was less than satisfactory. After a…read morefrustrating initial experience, I'm really happy with how everything turned out and wanted to post an update. Maybe it was the season early on and a combination of workers being out due to COVID, but after doing a LOT of research on artificial turf, we settled back on Turf Specialties. Trust me, I was very reluctant after feeling like we'd been blown off for a project like this but in seeing a lot of other options, we didn't feel we had much choice and gave them another shot. I'm glad we did. After really coming around to the idea about artificial turf, going back to sod/lawn really wasn't an option for us since we were worried we'd be right back in this situation in a few years. We were tired of how much water we were using and the shape, lighting/shade, etc. of our yard just made a lawn extra challenging. We looked at so many different products, learned about different installation techniques, price points, qualities, etc. and really none of them came close to checking all the boxes and we kept coming back to the product we selected from Marcus & crew. After finishing some other parts of the yard that needed to be done, we were ready to start the home stretch. Marcus came back out and double checked measurements and finalized everything so he could order materials and we set a date. Unfortunately the weather delayed them by a half a day but when him and his crew showed up, they were like a well oiled machine. They were incredibly efficient, hardworking, showed up on time, and somehow still managed to bust out the project on time. And when they were done everything was left super clean. There was one spot in the yard that was particularly challenging that I was a little worried about but they did an amazing job making the turf look completely seamless around that area. I really have no idea how but it looks great. One other thing that may seem minor to some but I think speaks volumes about a company is that Marcus, the owner, was out there working right alongside his guys. I have so much respect for a company that does that and is also a testament to the level of knowledge he has about the product, installation, etc. Overall, I'm really glad we went back to them. Yes, communication took some time but at the end of the day Marcus and his crew were nothing but top notch professionals, worked with us on a few things, took the time to give us a thorough rundown of maintenance/care/answer other questions, and did an overall amazing job. Our yard looks amazing now and our dogs couldn't be happier with the turf...first thing they did was run out and roll in it. The best part was now there's no dirt for them to track in! I should also add that they were very good about wearing masks when we had to interact with them. I know with some companies this can be hit or miss, particularly when you're outdoors, but they were very conscientious about this which I appreciated.
