I LOVE THIS PLACE, and have been several times. I cannot imagine why their rating is low... ‍ The people who work here are SO friendly and professional! I am ALWAYS pleased with my nails! And- the pedicure and hand massages are GREAT! I definitely appreciate that they like to make appointments, so that people don't have to wait. If you walk in and they are busy, they usually ask you if you can come back in just a little while. I like the way they honor clients' time. :) I also really like that it is quiet and calm, and there are no TVs- very relaxing. :) I highly recommend this place. :) read more

The service itself was fine and the staff was very nice. However, it has been less than a week since I got this dip manicure it has already chipped. This was my first time coming here and I have never had this issue with chipping on dip. Very disappointing to spend $60 for a poor manicure that will now have to be redone read more

Still haven't had better. I moved to Germany in January, but made sure to get one last manicure with Linsey to tide me over till I could find someone over here. They were impressed with how long my nails had held given how long it had been before I was able to tend to them. Even the winter nail art she had done was holding strong. No chips, cracks, loose nails, nada. Can't recommend her more. She's the best! read more

My toes needed to be sandal ready so I tried this salon. It was a great, relaxing pedicure! Comfortable massaging chairs and nice folks.

# PM appointment. It's 3:03 and no service, no explanation, no apology. Oh, well they won't miss me and I won't miss them. Can I rate them zero? read more

Ms. Lindsay did an amazing job with my nails today. This is what I asked for, and what she gave me! Definitely a copy-and-paste nail tech! She didn't rush to get me finished by closing time, She took her time buffing, filling, designing them and perfecting them just how I wanted them to look like. I live 40+ minutes away and I can say it's worth the drive. I will definitely come back to get my nails done again, even for my wedding. read more

Even though I had an appointment, they were full and wanted me to wait 20 min or more past my time with even more people waiting to be seen. Don't book here if you like prompt and reliable service, they are taking walk ins and overbooking. Old management was much better. read more

First time trying since management changed and so glad I did! I've been driving past this place 15 minutes to go to a salon near Chapel Hill after bad experiences with former owner, but the place is great since the changeover. Johnny was very friendly and worked me in without appt. for a quick color change. He was so nice to talk with and did a great job. It's so nice to finally have a great salon close to home in Pittsboro, will definitely be back! read more

This Salon deserves negative stars! The rudest employees i have ever come across. They don't want ur business. I am not sure what they r doing in business. We did not get our fills and pedicures we went in for as they were so rude from the get go, we said screw it. We'll go somewhere our business is wanted. My gf with us and started her pedicure while one staff sat and did nothing for 30 mins whiile no one serviced us at all. These people were so rude she told him to stop the pedicure she was leaving, and they still charged her for the full deluxe pedicure!!! Disgusting treatment. Obviously none of the 3 of us will be back. Nor will anyone we know! After we spread the word! I will be shocked if this place stays in business. read more

Worst, yet most expensive, nail experience of my life! Prices are already steep initially, but be prepared to have your total be double at checkout. $5 to remove gel, $20 to put gel on, $1 for a new file, $5 if you want more than one color, etc. If the ridiculous pricing scheme isn't enough to deter you, be prepared for them to be rough with your toes during the pedicure and literally set a timer for your leg massage. We are only in town because of a funeral, but my regular salon offers the same exact packets for the camomile pedicure. At home, that pedicure is long and relaxing, includes a nice hot stone massage, and isn't confined to the minutes on a timer. The staff was not warm and friendly, and basically acted as though we were an inconvenience. The person next to me told them they were being too rough and it was hurting her and literally received an eye roll. Most expensive disappointment I've ever experienced and we will not be going back next time we're in Pittsboro. read more

My mom can no longer cut her own toenails (and I gotta be honest, I am not wild about doing it either). The technician was really wonderful and gentle with her and treated her like a queen. There was another older couple in the salon and they were also treated with respect and gentleness. We will be going back - worth every penny! read more

Tried to charge me $31 to change the color of my nails & cut them down !! I had gel polish on them & wanted to change to color to a regular polish. I walked right out the door & said no thank you!! Absolutely ridiculous!! No wonder no other cars were in the parking lot read more

I have had numerous pedicures here. Staff have always been professional and kind and facility is spotless. Their foot baths use a new platic liner for each client. I usually am a walk-in client due to my schedule and have found the wait reasonable. To address some of the comments in other posts: Yes, they do charge for nail files; you take them with you and bring them back to be reused. I appreciate and see this as guaranteeing me fresh, unused nail tools and it is my responsibility to bring them back if I don't want to pay $1. Yes, they do time massages; in each service there is a time listed. I look at it as they are making sure I get what I paid for. I have been very pleased with this salon and their staff. read more

Worst experience ever. My sister and I both showed them what color we wanted for our nails from their selection. They put the wrong color on our nails, but we decided not to say anything. When checking out I asked to leave a tip on the card and she said it was "cash tips only". Then when my sister went to check out she said they only accepted MasterCard or Visa which we understood so I went to use the same card to pay for my sisters nails and she declined my card as it wasn't mine. My fiancé gave me his card and I told her I just paid for mine with it so I didn't understand the problem. She then tried to refund it back to the card and asked for another payment for the nails. Luckily for them I happened to have my own Visa card on me. Through out the experience the lady was very rude and their manicure was rushed and not worth paying for. Save yourself the time and trouble and go ANYWHERE else. read more

I wasn't sure about going after looking at the reviews, but thought it was fine. Perhaps there has been a shift in personnel? The pedicure I got was great and lasted a really long time. The staff was pleasant, and the service was prompt. I'll go back. read more

I had my first manicure/pedicure since late February or early March here today. The staff assiduously followed health and safety protocols. The salon was spotless and not crowded at all. Kelly gave me a wonderful and careful manicure and pedicure. I felt very safe. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back. read more

I had gone to this Salon for two years and tried to always make an appointment even back when walk ins were accepted. I had very few cancellations over the two years. I recently made an appointment for Sunday at 12 noon which is when they open. I had an unforeseen emergency come up that couldn't be help. I called as soon as I became aware. Around 11:00 am left a message because they were not open. About 11:45 am. I get a call back from a gentleman telling me it is too late to cancel. He was rude and condescending to me even when I tried to explain. I will never go there again. You can't treat customers that way especially when there was an emergency. So disappointed. I understand that appointments are required now and clientele is decrease for everyone. But this is no way to keep customers. read more

Visiting from out of town and had a few hours to kill so I stopped by for a basic mani/pedi. I try to take a break from the gel every other time.First I checked the sanitation grade and it was extremely good, like 99, so that's a good sign. I was very pleased with the service, the very reasonable cost, and the result! I highly recommend you give them a try. read more

I just left this place, the guy was nice and did a good job with my mani and pedi, but the girl (I think her name is Amy) just desapoint me, when I get into the room for eyebrows told me "put your phone away, I don't have time" REALLY???? girl I am paying for a service, it's not for free. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Horrible customer service. It's like they are put out by your coming into their business. My friend tried to get an acrylic fill and polish and it was $5 for this and $1 for that and if you wanted them cut down and shaped, that's $5 more. What!?! Isn't that part of the service? We left. NEVER AGAIN. read more

My 37$ pedicure was 63$ at checkout. Buyer beware of the fine print... apparently it's an extra $20 for gel polish (I could've bought the bottle myself) and an extra $5 to take gel off. When I questioned the charge one employee or perhaps she was the manager/owner was very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on the price and hidden charges. The up charge was never mentioned. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would, they don't even deserve one star. Went in on a Sunday at 145 and said that I had 5 people who were interested in getting mani/pedis around 245 after eating at Carolina Brewery. The female woman working there was rather short and rude with me indicating that they didn't take reservations, we had to come back and that "we close at 4"...I can read signs and I knew this, which was why I felt it would be polite to give them a heads up. After eating, my two younger daughters went into salon while lunch was being paid for to put our names on the list; the woman was again rude to them saying that the wait was a half hour and that since they close at 4, some of us wouldn't be able to get our mani/pedi. When I walked in I was not greeted and my oldest daughter told me what had just transpired. I said that we wouldn't stay due to the rudeness and proceeded to look a few other nail places up on my phone while waiting for one more person who was meeting us. The woman working then came over to my youngest daughter who was looking at shellac swatches, rudely said "give me that" and snatched the shellac swatch out of her hand and crossed all of our names off the list. Being new to the area, we were trying to find a nice place to get our nails done before school started, but I can assure you I will NOT come back to this salon due to the extreme disrespect and rudeness my family and I were treated with. I am an extremely polite person and I was polite the entire time I spoke to the employees there, until the woman was rude to my children. Here's a few suggestions; have more than two people working on Sunday's, consider taking reservations for larger parties and learn to be polite to your customers. They basically lost about 100-150 worth of revenue and tips today. I WILL NOT go back. read more

I've come here a few times and had a fine experience but just left and was surprised by how rude the person doing my pedicure was. He made it clear he didn't want to be there and did a poor job. Won't be returning. read more

Every time I've tried to get anything done here since my first review the wait is always crazy. After three times of being told the wait was going to be an hour I started going to the nail salon over by Harris Teeter. I've walked in there with a person in every chair getting mani/pedis and had someone immediately come to wax my eyebrows. Go there instead! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR ABSOLUTE RUDENESS!!!!! I went in the first time and the manager/owner was so rude I politely left. Months later I needed a quick pedi, and wanted to give them another chance because they're super close by and everyone has a bad day right? NO...the woman that runs the place is a b$@%h. Really no other way to say it. I am the most friendly person you could ever meet so if I'm saying this, it's true. We had a few words, the guy there tried to calm her down letting her know that I was simply asking for XY&Z and she gave him a slight shove an said a few Choice words in 'their language' to him I run a business and CS is HUGE people HUGE. HOW is this place STILL in business when there are sooooooo many more places around?? WHY would anyone go there??? Your experience should be nice right??? ZERO STARS read more

Do not go to this salon!! My friends warned me but I always want to give businesses an opportunity to treat me differently. I was told the wait would be 20 minutes. After 10 minutes someone who had an appointment came in and was served first. No problem with me! Another lady had been sitting with me for almost 15 minutes and the guy walks over and tells me it will be another 30 minutes because he has to take her first. I just walked out. She obviously didn't have an appointment but he knew her. I won't go back there!! read more

I've been going here for over a year now. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that it's a bit expensive, but Amy does fantastic nails and the pedicures are excellent. Yes you pay $1 extra for a file and buffer, but I'd rather do that since it's more hygienic. Amy can have an abrupt manner, but she and her husband really are lovely. Go for the deluxe pedi, the massage is amazing read more

I really enjoy the convenience of the location and I personally feel the people who work here are very courteous. They know me by name and do a great job with manicures and pedicures. I feel they give the best foot massage of any other salon visited. I also have brought guests here. Thank you for your service. read more

I was in town for work, stopped by during a 2 hour break to get an SNS polish. They didn't have SNS, so I opted for Gel Nail. Picked out a beautiful color and got my SNS taken off. The electric nail file constantly burnt me. Then I had to pay $1 for a nail file (bc I didn't bring my own). I said that is fine, and had the gel polish put on. She rushed through the entire process and then I asked for a 3rd coat just to make it a little darker. She said that was $3 extra, I did not get my 3rd coat. By that point all I wanted to do was get out of this salon. So I went to pay and SOMEHOW it ended up being $47. How is that possible? I typically pay $25 for SNS at my salon in Winston Salem, NC. Will never ever recommend this salon. I have a wedding to be in this week and I am hoping it doesn't peel off by then... but it probably will. read more

I went to this place when it was almost new to wax my eyebrows and they did a great job, went there 2 times after (I really Thought this was going to be my salon place, it was going to be perfect since I leave only like 3 min away). Unfortunately, it didn't last long. I made an appointment to get a mani/pedi Saturday Afternoon, so it was planned fo, I told her I was bringing some one with me, later that day I received a call and the person I was bringing was no longer available, so I went by myself. (Didn't think it was that big of a deal). Anyway I wrote my name on the list which in my opinion shouldn't have to wait at all since I had an appointment, I waited more than 20 minutes and then she sat me to start on my Mani, she left me there fore another 15 minutes while attending other costumers. I was pretty calm and not being rude at all, then she asked me where the other person was, and she was really rude about it, I shook it off my shoulders and told her they had dropped me. Then she said that next time I needed to tell her BC they had other costumers. ( She was saying all this while she was attending other costumers and she had me in a table where no one was attending me). So I started to get more impatient with her, non the less I did not react to her rudeness. Then she started to do a pedi on another costumer while I still was waiting on her while telling the other costumer that I was a irresponsible client. After that I could not take it anymore,I got up and left, and this was her last comment to me while leaving " If you leave do never come back " I said "Fine" and she also said fine and I have never gone back, I have a lot of family In Pittsboro and have spread the word of how rude that place is! Even though they are clean I think there customers come first anyway!!! I don't know if it was because I looked Hispanic but I surely will NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN SHE WAS SO RUDE! read more

I don't understand any bad reviews for this place. I've been going here since they opened, and I have only been happy with their service. I've been to other salons nearby and I was appalled by the way they reused things from other customers, and didn't sterilize them. If what you want is the cheapest manicure, pedicure or wax possible then go somewhere else-- you'll probably end up with a nice toenail fungus. Otherwise, these folks care about the services they provide, and won't compromise their service by cutting costs in places that they shouldn't. I have never been disappointed, so I will continue to come back time and time again. Give them a try. read more

I treated myself to a pedicure and brow wax with some of my Christmas money, also expecting an hour of relaxation. I made an apt, showed up on time. Apparently they accommodated some walks -ins and was trying to rush me thru. I had my brows done first and the girl (who typically does all the waxing I think) turned my neck to the other side very roughly with no warning. I have issues with my neck and was immediately outraged. I said something to her and she didn't apologize rather continued to be rough and rude which infuriated me so I told her she was rude. She argued with me and carried it out in the front area where the customers were. She told me not to get my brows waxed because I couldn't handle it! I have been getting my brows waxed for 20+ years and have never had anyone treat me so harsh physically and then argue with me for 10 minutes. I would love to know who the owner is. I have shared my experience over this past week and heard from others who knew exactly who the person was and commented on how rude she is. They present a quiet salon with all kind of signs to be mindful of others and then they not only treat you rudely but rush you thru their services like an assembly line - no personality within those 4 walls. And BTW,, their basic pedicure just increased to $31 which literally takes 20 mins. Drive out of town for your pedi/ mani - not a local business worth staying in town for. read more

There is an employee at this location that is extremely rude, and loudly so. I am a physician, and therefore am also in the service industry, and I have never seen someone so cruel and hateful to their customers. There was another customer there that same day that was also being treated poorly, and it appeared this nail technician was also rough with the customer's hands, somewhat jerking them around as she worked and shouted terse words. I'm surprised such a person has been able to keep their job in a nice town like Pittsboro. I will never use this place again when I am visiting my family in North Carolina. I strongly urge customers to stay clear of this business. read more

Rude people - painful pedicure - faulty equipment - French mani lasted about a day...never again!

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I still can't believe how rude the manager was!!!!!! Awful service, workers are very rude and have bad attitudes. Went for pedicure expecting to get the "whole treatment" like normal nail salons, but my pedicure only lasted 20 minutes. No sugar scrub or anything. Never coming here again, and definitely would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. I believe it was the manager who was the rudest. I will forever talk down about this place. When I questioned the price the lady "Amy" was just plain out rude!!!!! $30 just for a cut down, barely even scrubbed my feet, then polish. Sooooooo disappointed!!!!!!! read more
