I used this company for an accident 6 months ago. Travis was excellent. Very professional. You are provided a warranty on the work completed. I noticed that some clips in a door panel popped off and needed to be replaced. I called the shop, lady at the front was excellent and had the paperwork for my previous work ready when I showed up. Steve took one look at the damage pulled it back and ordered the part. Part went to the wrong place and Steve personally went to pick it up. I'm here three days later and Steve had taken excellent care to fix this. I also want to mention the professionalism that Travis and the lady working the front desk have. A unruly customer came in, while I waited on my car, complaining over a term that is clearly stated in the paperwork signed. This lady was throwing an absolute fit over her own mistake. The staff made ever accommodation, going above and beyond for this nightmare of a human. I believe they should be recognized for maintaining their professionalism. read more

I wish I could give a zero. I was given an estimate to have my car repaired around Nov 16th if parts weren't delayed. The 16th came and the car wasn't repaired because the body shop was said that they were waiting on one part from Audi. Then I contacted the adjuster again for an update on the 20th and was told the same reason and I lost trust in the body shop to believe that reason. I immediately got off the phone and contacted the parts dept of Audi West where they had the part that the body shop needed in stock. I contacted the adjuster and asked her how the body shop was waiting on a part that's in stock, and I was told that it was not ordered from the Audi dealership that was close to the shop. The parts guy chose the one further across town for some odd reason. I then explained to her that I'm tired of paying for uber rides and scheduled to go home for the holiday since I'm not from Houston. She told me that she would inform the collision shop parts guy about the Audi dealership that is closer that had the part. Well, they didn't care about my concern nor request because Thanksgiving eve they didn't do a single action to have my car finished for me to have it for the holiday. Then the adjuster said that I can look for it finished Nov. 27th but that deadline wasn't sufficient neither. The guy over parts should be be fired but also the shop manager bears responsibility for this incompetence. I hope my strong social presence makes the owner feel this in his pockets that way I felt for spending the holiday away from my family. I rarely need body work done on my car. It's probably an average of needing something done every three years or so, so I'm not sure familiar with the "Auto-body" scene. What speaks to me, as a non-car guy is customer service, doing what you say you will do in the time you say you will do it, and not speaking down to me when it becomes obvious I have no idea what those different parts are. Westside Collision delivered the car a whole day before the estimate said it would be done and it looked great. The staff was really helpful, remembered us and our car when we walked in and we didn't spend much time waiting on anyone. I can't deliver a full five stars because I haven't used many other body shops, so I can't speak to if they are "the best" or not, but I know I'll be going back if I need to. read more

My brand new Lexus was rear ended at the beginning of 2018. I had all the choices of collision centers to repair my vehicle. We chose the Westside Lexus Collision center due to the fact that It was where I purchased my vehicle and felt this facility would be top notch in collision repair and taking good care of restoring my vehicle a decent status of repair. This entire process was an absolute nightmare. My first call to pick up my vehicle resulted in many key items still in serious disrepair. My trunk would not close without slamming it shut several times. The underbody of the trunk lid was left without repair, unpainted and showing raw metal. My rear bumper was not on correctly, wobbly and misaligned, and my vehicle was covered in overspray. Upon my second trip to repair these issues, I picked up my vehicle and found the paint showing was showing 1/4 inch cracks in places and some broken pieces that were not replaced in my trunk. This resulted in a second inconvenient trip to the collision center for completion of a poor workmanship. I then picked up my vehicle after this second visit to find the paint had looked poor quality on the area that was just repainted. The area had an orange peel look to the paint. Over spray was everywhere on the area that was just again repainted, as well as several very large scratches in in the clear coat of my previously newly painted trunk lid. My newly replaced tail light was also considerably scuffed up, not looking newly replaced. I met with the collision center manager, Ronnie Brush on for a 3rd visit to explain my dissatifaction with Westside Lexus Collision services. Mr. Brush was less than apologetic for the issues, seeming unconcerned, explaining vehicles can not be restored to a perfection. CLEARLY, this was not an issue of perfection, this individual did not get the picture of how this collision center is failing in providing quality services. On my 3rd return to address the the poor workmanship, I accompanied the vehicle to the collision center booth and the workers again found my vehicle had not been completed in the next steps after the painting process. The worker admitted the vehicle again was sent home without full completion of the process of buffing after the newly painted area for the second time. The worker mentioned there is a REAL gap of communication taking happening withing this body shop. I CLEARLY can attest for this. The manager of this collision center was not client focused or apologetic. We were not looking for perfection, just good work quality. There is CLEARLY a chain of miscommunication happening in this collision center on the readiness and the quality of repair. I DO NOT reccomend this collision center at ALL. Upon going back to observe the 3rd visit of repairs, we found the collision center in total dis array due to the expansion of the entire dealer facility. There was excavators digging next to open paint booths and work bays creating dust, dirt and very little room to occupy or house vehicles for repairs in order to establish a manner of good quality work. Lexus Westside Collision Center was more of a nightmare than the person that rear ended our vehicle. read more

I came to Westside Collision because they were approved by my car insurance company, they were super conveniently located (close to 290), and the one positive yelp review below! They definitely lived up to the review! -Dropped my car off on a Tuesday afternoon and had it back by Friday afternoon! (Bumper, etc damage) -Upon dropping off my car, Enterprise dropped off a rental car and had all paperwork at Westside. They come to YOU! (Also drop off your rental there when picking up your car) -Picking up my car was so easy! They were ready for me and my car was squeaky clean (and the repairs were perfect!) Worst experience with a body shop ever. My new Ford F150 (6K miles) had to be repainted entirely due to a massive over spray situation. After over 50 days in Westside Collision's possession (3 separate times in the shop) my truck has major issues with scratches in the clear coat and the front bumper not matching the grill (like it did when I bought the truck). This company operates with zero integrity and there commitment to quality is non existent. The shop was recommended to me by Geico and choosing to leave my truck with the was a huge mistake. If fixing quality problems cost them too much expect them to spend a lot of resources trying to convince you that it doesn't get any better. Excuses and total BS is all I received from Travis and Drew. Do not make the same mistake I did. There are better options available read more

This place is wonderful. I have a '99 volvo s70 which I totaled in a collision. I got it back in good time looking prettier than she was before. Gabriel personally handled my case, taking my calls and texts on any question I had, and emailed me photos of the progress when I asked. He worked with me to make my car as safe as possible while respecting my budget. When a small problem arose with one of the older parts they had used (the latch on my door didn't engage 100% of the time) he answered my text within the hour and set up a time for me to come in. I got in late, mere moments before closing, and he took my car in as if I was the first customer of the morning. The office is clean and spacious, with bottled water and snacks available, gratis. The customer care is absolutely fantastic here and I trust their skills with my life and my passengers. read more

Not sure what happen to this place but unfortunately I will never be doing business here ever again. I've taken my car here the first two times and they have been great. This time around however, it was the worst experience ever. It's clear that they have cracked my windshield and have denied that they have by telling me that the car had already arrived with it. Crack is very visible upon getting in the car, I think we would have noticed it beforehand if that already existed. When they showed me the pictures, there was no way to zoom in to see if there was even a crack. The initial photos taken you can't see anything. When I asked for the dates in the photos they told me there was no time or date stamp on it. Guy "Jason" who was in charge of it was pretty shady the whole time and seemed nervous. Not to mention the interior is worse than how I brought it in. It's clear that they did not vacuum. And theres footprints all over. Cleaning residue all over my car. Getting your Mercedes back with all of those things, can you blame me for being upset? Oh and don't even get me started with that Manager he was useless, THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT. He again did nothing and offered to try and fix minor things but I had to leave it another day bc they were about to close. Didn't offer to put me in a rental given that I was driving that before picking up my back HORRIBLE DAY! People beware, make sure you inspect your car before taking it bc otherwise they will make up bullshit and say it was already there. Oh make sure you have them give you a full inspection before you even sign anything. This guys never took me outside to check out my car before giving it to me... AGAIN, shady. Everyone was extremely courteous and i'm happy with my personal experience. Their turn-around time and price were untouchable by the competition I contacted and the personalized customer service was very much appreciated. They took the time to sit down with me side by side to educate me on the extent of the damage needing repair, brought the damaged pieces to me in the lobby so I could see for myself, reviewed the pricing line by line with me and really respected me as a woman in a man's industry. I brought in my wrecked vehicle here after reading the positive reviews and because of the shop's proximity. This turned out to be a mistake. As I walked into the shop, the first employee turned and looked at me, and quickly turned around without asking if I needed anything or even acknowledging that a customer had just walked in. A rude man at the front desk looked at me with disdain and asked "Can I help you?" - as if I was wasting his time. A representative did a quick estimate of how much the vehicle repairs would cost, and while it was a staggering amount, this car meant a lot to me. I bought this vehicle when I was stationed at Fort Bragg and drove it for almost two years before the wreck. I asked the representative several times if there was any possibility of more significant damage once they started taking the vehicle apart, but he assured me that it was fixable within the estimate range that he wrote up. Two hours after dropping it off, I receive a phone call from the representative stating that the car ended up having much more significant damage than initially estimated. I then went back to the shop only to hear him tell me that now the cost of repairs would be twice the amount that he estimated. I decided to cut my losses at that point. What I was left with was a bill of almost 400 dollars for them to simply take a few pieces off the car and call me two hours later to tell me that it would cost twice as much as they had estimated to repair the vehicle. After this experience, I sincerely believe that this establishment does not run an honest business. The customer service was horrendous. The way in which they handled my vehicle estimate and attempted repair was dishonest and unethical. I highly recommend that anyone considering this establishment for their vehicle repairs go elsewhere. read more

I have never in my life dealt with a place so terrible. First thing is first. The day I dropped my car off (at 11 A.M.) they called me right before closing letting me know I didn't sign my car over. I spoke to three different people that morning, how on earth did none of the three people not give me a document to sign? Issue two, on top of the car taking longer than they said (which isn't in their control sometimes), my car still wasn't ready when I went to go pick it up. The hood and fender didn't even align, on top of that my A/C wasn't working. Keep in mind this was only a small wreck and its a 2014 so the A/C shouldn't even have been touched. So I had to take it back the next day. When I asked about the car not lining up they explained that it was the best they could do. So I took it to my Acura dealer and they had to fix it (expense to me of course). Finally a month or so later I notice that my headlamp was filled water which then caused my light to blow out. I took it back about three weeks ago and they told me it was just the light, simple fix right? Of course not. Took them a week (when they promised a day) to get a light in. Once I finally go back to get it installed they realize that the sensor was burnt out too (did you all not check that initially?) here I am 2-3 weeks with no light and they still do not have the extra part in. Finally another two weeks go by and they get the sensor in after daily phone calls. I would have rather driven around a brand new wrecked car than to deal with them again. read more

So I had a small issue with a bumper I needed to get an estimate. I am an automotive engineer and have done some of my own work in the past but I don't have the time and don't like to mess with all of the paints and chemicals etc. There is no structural damage to the bumper whatsoever. Just some paint flaking off and a very small gouge mark in the bumper (Like 1/2 the size of a dime). So I had already gone to another guy who unfortunately just retired and told me some minor repair (no bumper replacement was needed) and repaint would take care of it. So since I still need someone I see West Side Collision and stop in....Anyway the old white haired guy comes out and takes a look at it. I ask him to see what he thinks. He goes on to tell me in a very condescending tone that the bumper will need to be absolutely replaced. I kept asking him as to the reasons and he started making some BS as to why you cannot repair the plastics. Total Non-Sense. He gave a ridiculously high estimate (Double what I got from a reputable shop -more on that later). I then told him I had another Body Man (30+yrs exp) look at it and clearly told me there was no need to replace the bumper. To which he stated in the most arrogant rude and crappy tone " I think you should take it there." If you like being insulted, lied to and likely overcharged then look no further. I later went to to another shop who quoted me a price that was HALF of what these idiots were trying to charge. BE WARNED THIS PLACE SEEMS TO HAVE NO REGARD FOR THE CUSTOMER!! Maybe this is why Insurance Rates are so high in Houston. ALSO NOTE TO THE OWNER - TRY TO HIRE SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT AUTO BODY REPAIR AND DOES'NT TREAT CUSTOMERS EXCEPTIONALLY POOR. I can Tell you for a fact that the bumper absolutely can be repaired and I m talking as a subject matter expert on the topic. And has been independantly verified by 3 additional Body shops. He either does not know about body repair or is lying to people either way not a good sign. read more
