Stained chair.. all of them

The somewhat good. Very cozy feel. Spacious. Lots of tables and quiet. I dropped by to take care of something for work after dropping my son off at school. I ordered a low-fat cappuccino. Nothing fancy. The drink was average at best. Maybe comparable to a homemade nespresso but had way too much milk for the milk/espresso ratio. The seats!!!! OMG! The seats look like they went to every goodwill in DFW and found 50 year old restaurant chairs. I'm all for vintage! I LOVE vintage, but please, PLEASE get the seats reupholstered and stuffed. They are filthy, nasty, and I can literally feel the wood brackets through the seat cushion. Plus, ALL of the seats are bad, not just one or two. I moved to the tall metal seats at the bar height tables. Not much better. I know I won't come here again just to sit and hang out, and probably not even to grab a coffee when there's White Rhino around the corner that is consistently excellent! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, but I came here for coffee and a place to sit and work for a bit... didn't make the mark.

Cozy, quiet coffee shop right in the heart if downtown Cedar Hill. I'm a tea girlie and they have chai and matcha that you can customize with flavors of your choice. And they have a pretty decent ice cream selection. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot to study or work.

Lavender lemonade

"Trendy" vintage looking coffee shop. It was hot so we enjoyed lemonade -- it was tasty. I tried the lavender version and it was light and not overpowering.

Caffeine...YES!!! I mapped the nearest coffee place on my way to an appointment and this little shop popped up. The atmosphere is relaxed and quaint. Service was polite and prompt. I ordered an iced latte with vanilla syrup (made in house). It was delish... I'll be back.

Peeps. If you are in the area check them out. It's a quiet, intimate spot with friendly staff and delicious coffee. Nothing but good things to say about this little coffee nook. Tell them OK sent you. #TheVillageUMC #SelfCare

Cute coffee shop in the downtown area of Cedar Hill. Nice older building, comfy seating. Coffee was good. Pastries are a little expensive. They had breakfast tacos from Mija Barbecue certain days of the week.

Best Latte I have had in Dallas Area yet! Came in on a weekday early morning and it wasn't busy. I decided go with the lavender & honey latte with oat milk and was everything. The perfect balance of both honey and lavender, but not overly filled with sugar. The expresso also did its thing as well! Now, the only downfall was the chocolate croissant. The pastries prices were not posted, so I asked for the croissant not knowing it cost more than my actual latte. Nothing was spectacular about the croissant and I would pass next time. I loved that they have long extension cords all over so people can plug up their electronics . This place is perfect for working or a study session. I will be back for another latte for sure!

Ooohhh! This "1846 Hug" DEFINITELY hugged my soul! It was the perfect amount of sweetness & the smoothness & perfect temperature is what brought on the "hug"...on the inside ! This place is tucked in the middle of Cedar Hill & a quaint little spot. I love that it has a cozy space to chill with a faux fireplace. It's a little chilly inside & when I walked in, the reception was a tad different than other coffee shops. Maybe they were trying to figure out if I was in the right place. But the coffee was superb! I'll be back for the coffee for sure !

Pleasantly surprising atmosphere nestled in downtown Cedar Hill! The tree of life drink is good. Sub with coconut milk.

Good Chai Latte, would have liked with more spice. Loved studying there, had outlets for computer and good wifi for browser work.

I was really excited to try this place after hearing good things, but unfortunately my experience…read morewas disappointing. I had a couple of questions about the drinks -- like whether taro was similar to ube, and if it was sweet -- and the employee helping me seemed annoyed and uninterested. She stayed on her phone during the interaction, gave me short answers, and made me feel like I was bothering her for simply trying to understand what I was ordering. After she made my drink, I went to put the straw in, and only then was I told that I was supposed to shake it first. When I asked why she didn't mention that before, she replied, "If you drink boba and milk tea, you should know." For context, this is only my second time ever trying boba. Instead of offering helpful info or friendly service, I felt talked down to and dismissed. I was excited to try something new -- but this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth before I even sipped the drink. Hopefully others have a better experience, but I personally won't be returning.

My mango strawberry tea was full flavored and slightly sweet. Perfect. Fruit Tea was about $6.00. Refreshing. I was able to take my tea into BN Sushi just next door. I was in Texas for a conference, found this spot on Yelp, and a smile hit my face when I realized a former gas station was now transformed into a coffee shop. Such a cool and unique idea. If you look at my pictures, it's obvious what it used to be, but the creativity to turn it into what it is now is awesome. We had a group of six guys walk in and all of us got our drinks within 10 minutes. Both Barista's behind the front counter were friendly and answered all of our questions being that we were from out of town and visiting for the first time. I was excited to see a few gluten and dairy free options when it came to the food, but now let's about the coffee. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is not because of anything they did, but just the quality of the oat milk I prefer. That said, it would not be a place. I would avoid coming back to as I thought the overall experience was a good one. Such a unique coffee spot. Good job guys!
