She then informed me that they were unfortunately out of cream cheese so I ordered a danish instead. There was a man behind the counter and he asked if i planned to stay for at least 20-30 min. I said yes. The danish was brought to my table nice and warm and it was delish. The coffee, which I ordered hot, was also delicious. About 15 minutes later the barista brought me a perfectly toasted bagel with cream cheese and said the owner said it was on the house. I think he ran out to purchase some cream cheese just for us! (I think it was Billie Joe himself) I was so impressed. If you're looking for a clean, good vibes, great coffee and great customer service you gotta go to Billie Joes!

Aside from that, there's a bar and a few small tables for independent seating. Along with some beans, we ordered two matcha lattes that were high quality. As I studied, there was a consistent trickle of customers coming and going - a sign of a lively business. Since the space is small, it was a little noisy but I enjoyed the ambience. The next time I'm in need of a study spot or a good latte when visiting my family, I'll be sure to stop by again.
