Can't wait to try the rest of their specialty coffee menu! What I got: Iced secret garden. A tad bit on the sweet side, but the flavor combo is genius. Most importantly, the espresso shots were pulled to perfection. Unfortunately, I'm an espresso snob who refuses to return to a coffee shop if an espresso shot is underpulled/sour or overpulled/bitter. Three Rivers truly pulled the perfect espresso shot. Environment: A little bit chaotic for my aesthetic, but extremely clean and roomy. Service: Wonderful. Everyone was so genuinely kind and personable. While I was out running errands, I passed by Three Rivers Coffee and decided to go in and treat myself. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the calm ambience and wonderful vibes coming from not only the customers, but also the employees. The girl who took my order was exceptionally sweet, and when my order was ready, they even brought it out to me. This small active service was greatly appreciated and I would recommend this cafe to anybody. I bought a muffin and a latte and it was fairly priced and was delicious. I discovered this lovely coffee shop while on the way to the Scarborough Renn Faire. Situated in a mini-mall, the interior feels perfectly in-line with a relaxing coffee shop vibe: high-ceilings with exposed ductwork, sleek, yet comfy leather couch, a 1000 piece puzzle to work on, faux exposed brick walls, and houseplants. There's quite a bit of local art on display. I liked the menu of coffee specials. I had a campfire latte - a sweet marshmallow inspired drink that tasted like a mocha. The service was quick and friendly - the baristas were busy with a steady stream of drive-through customers. The bathroom in the back was spacious and looked clean, even though there was an odd smell. Overall, a really nice place. read more

We needed a place to get our caffeine fix and hang out for a bit on our trip. Three rivers did not disappoint. The coffee was fantastic. Way better than Starbucks. It was smooth and not bitter. We ordered ours "in" and it was served in such a thoughtful way. The wooden coaster is a nice touch and allowed me to pick my drink up easily and enjoy it without being afraid of sloshing any of the liquid goodness over the side. The decore is modern, beautiful art work all around, lots of seating options, and restroom was clean. Oh - and the service was outstanding. If I lived here this would be my go to spot. We don't make it south very often but if you are ever passing through Waxahachie, definitely give this place a try! I had just finished a meeting around the corner and was running low on fuel (energy not my car ). I decided why not give it a try. I ended up getting their breakfast sandwich ($4) and Black Currant iced tea ($2.85). The breakfast sandwich consisted of sausage, egg, and melted cheese on an English muffin. If the picture below doesn't give you an idea of how cheesishly (just made that word up) delicious it was, I don't know what will. It was so good. So good that I could of easily ate 5 of them! I am 100% a coffee drinker, however, I decided to try out one of their teas today. The black currant was earthy and just the right amount of caffeine. It was so refreshing! Three Rivers is one of my new favorite coffee places to visit in the South Dallas area. Their iced lattes taste great, and I think they taste better than Starbucks' lattes. The staff are friendly and helpful in recommending items to order to new customers or to those wanting to switch up their order. It is a bit of a drive compared to Starbucks, but I find it worth the distance and gas to get a taste of their coffee. For those on a low-carb diet, such as myself, you are in luck as they have a good variety of sugar-free syrups and milk options. They have sugar-free caramel, white chocolate, vanilla, and a few others. They also have almond and 2% milk. Would definitely recommend to anyone in or visiting that area. read more

Small coffee shop in a shopping complex between Red Oak and Waxahachie. Food & Drink: The drink that I tried was the matcha latte. The taste was very sweet but sometimes that's just what you need. My latte was also infused with lavender, which I was able to taste in the beginning but somehow the lavender flavor disappated the more I drank. Price: The prices are very reasonable, with the most expensive beverage on the drink menu being $5.45. Environment: The inside is very spacious with a rustic/ modern vibe. The scheme is black/ grey/ and brown tones. The various pieces of art that they showcase are able to really shine with their dark color scheme in the background. Overall: I think this place is an awesome addition to the growing number of businesses filling in the gap between Red Oak and Waxahachie on 77. read more

I drive by this place ALL the time. I'm usually in a hurry to get my kids here there and everywhere. Well tonight I'm kid free so I decided to stop in. The thing that really peaked my interest about this place is the name. My husband and I have a very special, very favorite vacation spot we go to every year called three rivers, so naturally I had to come in. I got a honey lavender scone and a ginger peach tea ice tea! ordered a matcha with no creamer of any sort because i simply wanted a plain iced matcha. that's what i like. they really told me they can't make it like that... it comes as a latte and that there is already milk in it?? what??where's the customization? i said "i don't want any creamer". here's where it gets rather comical... the lady said "well we can add in any creamer you want. we have dairy free options as well!" on my way to white rhino, they will go to the ends of the earth to make what i order. it's pretty simple, blend up some matcha with water and pour over ice. read more

This is a great place if you want a great cup of coffee and friendly staff. I stopped in to try out an iced coffee (black with heavy cream, no flavoring added or sugar), and my expectations were exceeded. The coffee has a great flavor all on its own and the medium size was generous and not simply filled with ice and splashed with coffee as an afterthought. The space inside was modern and comfy as you could expect for a nice coffee place with areas to sit/chat/work on your laptop. I noticed they had some pastries which looked tasty, though I didn't try any this time. I noticed they also have a drive through- though you actually go up to the window to place your order with someone face to face rather than use a speaker and then go to the window. I rather like the idea of talking directly to someone. They also don't have a menu posted outside because they explained, they can pretty much make anything you prefer. I will definitely return regularly. This place beats that 'other' coffee place we all know. read more

Went to Three Rivers Coffee for the first time this morning and I will definitely be back! My order took a little longer than I guess was acceptable by them and they gave me a size bigger for the wait. The matcha green tea latte I ordered was delicious, and I can't wait to try lavender sweetener next time. I love how close they are to my house and love that they have a drive through. Much better than Starbucks, and I'd rather spend my money at a small business than Starbucks anyway. read more
