I visited Arlington Coffee Roasters on a rainy day in search of a quiet & cozy study spot. I'd had their beans before because my husband had purchased them and often rave about the quality of their roasts. However, I had never been to the physical storefront before. The shop is quaint and warmly decorated. There's a cluster of chairs & a couch around a coffee table or a large table for bigger groups. Aside from that, there's a bar and a few small tables for independent seating. Along with some beans, we ordered two matcha lattes that were high quality. As I studied, there was a consistent trickle of customers coming and going - a sign of a lively business. Since the space is small, it was a little noisy but I enjoyed the ambience. The next time I'm in need of a study spot or a good latte when visiting my family, I'll be sure to stop by again. read more

Cute place with a nice orange, green, red, black and white color scheme inside with murals. Coffee is delicious though probably more expensive than most coffee shops in around DFW. 16 ounce size is the largest you can get and we got two of the coconut lattes iced and it was $18.04 before tip. When coffee starts costing what a cocktail costs it makes you think twice. I wouldn't drive all the way from Woodhaven to Arlington to try this place, but we were going to the mid-century shop next-door which was closed again even though they're supposed to be open so we decided to try the coffee and it was very good. But as I said, it was expensive for what you get. read more

Funny enough this place is also called Arlington Coffee Roasters The place was very clean and relaxing and and the staff member working was very friendly. I had ordered an iced latte, unfortunately I don't remember the name but it was of there specialty drinks for the fall and it was very good. I was so excited to try this new spot out, but the lack of order and cleanliness turned me all the way off. Not sure why the place looked like it did. My service was mehhh. The latte itself was just okay. I asked what the difference shot wise was their different sizes and got told there isn't any. Just additional milk. I really enjoyed this little coffee shop when I was in Arlington for a doctors appointment. The menu was very easy to read and they had so many options! I want to go back and try more things. The barista was very nice and made me feel welcome even with only one other person in the shop. read more

Finally made it over to this place and will probably be back again. I went for one of their Spring Lattes as it was treat myself Friday!! I went for the Muddy Buddy Cold Brew, I was their early before work, I was the only customer in the building - the barista was stocking shelves and didn't really seem too happy to serve but whatever. I had the choice between 12oz or 16oz, I went with the 16oz, at $6.50 plus tip - a little pricey even Starbucks Cold Brew is cheaper. However it was a really nice cold brew, I was concerned as some can be bitter - that's why I went for this one with the flavor pumps - toffee crunch and dark chocolate - I couldn't detect the toffee but the dark chocolate was nice - had to mix it in a little. I'm also not sure if the barista served me their Nitro or just regular cold brew as it was real creamy and smooth - he did put half n half in. Though I saw he had to look at the menu to see what was in the drink - so who knows. I might go back next Friday though!! read more

I am a coffee fiend, and I was looking forward to trying out Salter Bros especially given that they roast their own beans. The coffee shop is more on the intimate side with a few tables, but I loved the feel inside and getting to see all of the roasting machinery. I ordered a caramel oat milk latte - delicious and great flavor from the espresso. I couldn't walk out without buying a bag of beans, and I'm excited to brew Salter Bros coffee at home. This place recently opened in Arlington and I had no idea! I absolutely loved the coffee shop. They had coffee bags decorated all over the interior and are taking Covid precautions. There is indoor and outdoor seating that I will take advantage of as the weather cools down. The coffee is AMAZING. I got the Wild West Latte which has chocolate, hazelnut, and espresso. I highly recommend it for those who like a sweet creamy drink with a caffeine kick! The service was also great and this appears to be owned be a sweet family. Wonderful little addition to the ever-growing downtown Arlington scene. Salter Bros is over by Sugar Bee Sweets and Legal Draft and is owned by a sweet husband and wife team (alongside their grown kiddos). This is a coffeehouse and roastery, so you can come in and order a latte like a typical coffee shop, but you can also choose your beans & blend & roast and Salter Bros will roast your beans for you in house! All of their beans are roasted in small batches and made to order, which is pretty amazing. My husband picked me up a vanilla latte from here last week, and it was delicious. They have an espresso bar, drip coffee, nitro cold brew... and they sell homemade "angel biscuits," goodies from Sugar Bee Sweets, and gluten free oatmeal. Can't wait to hang out in their shop once things get safer. In the meantime, I'll be getting lattes to go and ordering beans to take home! read more

While in the area we stopped in and grabbed a seasonal cup of coffee. I'm usually a little pickier and have to alter things to get it just right but this was not the case. The barista did a good job on our coffees and this is a spot I would definitely come back to, to grab a cup and go. This place... let me tell you about my visit to Salter Bros. I demand a test of every coffee shop I venture to... I order the same way every time. 1 - double espresso 1 - other drink that looks interesting If the coffee shop is worth my time, the espresso will tell me everything I need to know. The pull has to be perfection for me to continue with my other drink. If the espresso tastes like soupy dirt, I will gladly toss it and the second drink because it will be trash. Salter Bros passed the first test with flying colors! The second drink was expectedly amazing as well. But the best part... was sitting inside, next to the coffee roasters less than 3ft in front of me. The amazing aroma of the roasted beans and the heart warming heat from the fire transported me to a zen place that I didn't want to exit. This place is legit and worthy of a lengthy next visit to try more! read more

This gem is located near the AT&T center. They have a small patio and plenty of seats indoors. They are also a coffee roastery which is cool. They have homemade pastries and a decent size menu for drinks. I ordered the chai tea latte in a large which came out hot and flavorful. The prices are on par with other local coffee shops. They have plenty of parking spots available, next to and in front of the coffee shop. I look forward to exploring their fall speciality drinks. read more

If I could give this place no stars I probably would. Was excited to try after seeing it has 4 stars on Yelp. First, there was only one employee and there was a family waiting for their drinks when we got there. It took almost 20 minuets to get our drinks. Second, I asked for a double espresso over ice and got an espresso with 3 pieces of ice.. had to ask for a cup of ice to pour it over. My fiancés americano he said was average. Lackluster experience for me. Wish it was more like the other reviews. Stopped in on a Friday morning around 9. When I walked in there was no one in the shop, like no employees or customers. I figured the employees must be in the back and would be out soon. About 5 mins later he emerges from the bathroom. He didn't say hi or acknowledge that he wasn't there when I walked in. His attitude was very dry and not friendly. I place my order, I think it was called the coconut macaroon latte. He makes the latte, I pay and say thank you, he says "uh-huh"...like what about "you're welcome" lol! The first sip was very bitter and tasted burnt. Likely the result of his lack of care in customer service and desire to provide me with a quality cup of coffee. Doubt I'll back to chance getting bad customer service and bad coffee! :-/ read more

I did 30 miles to get there. They refused to sell me 1 lb bags of coffee beans, saying that if I want 1lb bags, I have to order online !!!!  As I drove 30 miles to get there, I purchased 2 varieties of beans in 12 oz for more money than the online purchase , telling myself "well let's give it a try". When I arrived home, I discovered that the beans were very lightly roasted, far from being a medium roast.
