Please read full to NOT have the worst experience of your life. Haim and Adam were my realtor for for Keane homes in forest hills. I was lied to about move in date. The end day of the month, the apartment was not ready and Haim did not communicate that clearly with me. I wasn't feeling well and vacated my manhattan apartment and when I reached forest hills, I was left in a limo on the road. Not only he lied, he mistreated my friends who had come to help me and took NO accountability. I had to find a hotel and storage right away while being sick. Next day, the apartment was handed over in bad state with cockroaches in the drawers. He put my stuff out as the movers were putting it because I was in hospital and didn't give him all the cheques. Mind you, I had already signed the contract and given security deposit a month ago. I rushed from hospital and till then he had a fight with my friends. He is an loan shark and realtor is his side job. His son Adam is no better, who makes promises and cannot deliver. When I called Adam to get the name of the previous tenant to set up WiFi, he ignored. Later I found out that the previous tenant did not cooperate with them as they had mistreated her and her kids. These 2 only care to scam and take your money. In short, do not work with them. They have 0 integrity and professionalism. read more

This is less a real estate agent as it is one guy and his son who owns a bunch of buildings in the Forest Hills, Queens area. Their buildings run along 113th Street just north of Queens Blvd. I rented an apartment in one these buildings. Multiple buildings have severe mold damage near the exterior window areas confirmed by myself and multiple other tenants. Tenants usually move out within a year of moving in to their apartments due to this. They heavily paint over the area and fix it up before showing it to new prospective tenants but the mold will quickly break through again after a couple of rains. The owner of the company, Haim Dadi, refuses to do the mold remediation and waterproofing these buildings need because it would be a large cost to him. He prefers to briefly hide it while getting new tenants on leases. I would highly advise you to stay away for the sake of your family's health. read more

We had scheduled a time to see a place, I got there 10 minutes early and let him know I was there. 10 minutes past the set time he asks me to call him and then proceeds to tell me he had rented this place out already, doesn't apologize and goes straight into trying to rent me other places. read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews - I love to read what other people post, but usually only do something myself for a great experience (or a REALLY bad one ). My experience with 18 Realty was amazing! Adam and 18 Realty were beyond incredible in helping me and my partner find a new apartment. We contacted him for a viewing and he was able to very quickly accommodate an appointment. While taking time to consider our options, he was very patient and took time to answer our many questions without adding any pressure to the decision-making. After we proceeded and our application was accepted, Adam met us to review the lease and continue to address any concerns we had. He was also easily reachable via phone, text or email. One of those concerns was around move-in coordination. We moved into our previous apartment without management painting or cleaning, leaving us to scrub tirelessly behind a very dirty prior tenant. It was an unfortunate situation but unavoidable as we moved in on 8/31 for a 9/1 lease start. However, when mentioning that to Adam for our new place, he contacted management to confirm when the current tenants were leaving and worked with them to add additional crew members to get the unit into pristine shape a few days early for us! Overall, it was just refreshing to interact with someone who was patient and caring about our experience. Particularly with the added stress of moving during this COVID-19 pandemic, it definitely didn't go unnoticed that Adam put in effort to go above and beyond to make sure everything went well. I'm not a native New Yorkers, and my first impression of realtors in to area is that they don't care about you, nor care about helping you, answering your questions, and getting the most basic information was a hassle. That wasn't the case with Adam. When i contacted Adam, he was very helpful. When he showed us the apartment we were interested in, he was friendly and personable. Later, when we were signing the lease, he helped us negotiate with the management. Adam made the whole process easier, and really pleasant. Haim is a CROOK and unethical. This is not an honest broker or company -- stay away. 1. He forged my signature on a lease. And then changed the lease terms by switching the first couple of pages. 2. When I confronted him, he threatened me. Very unprofessional. 3. Do not work with this broker. He is being currently investigated by the NY State Real Estate Licensing Board. His real estate license was revoked before. And this realty has a very bad BBB rating. Do your research. read more

I needed an apartment in Queens on very short notice, and I contacted Haim about an apartment in Briarwood. He was very flexible and immediately allowed to me to make an appointment to see a studio within 24 hours. When I saw the apartment the next day and decided to rent, Haim was kind enough to drive me in his personal vehicle to the local bank branch because I was not familiar with if the area. The best experience I've ever had finding an apartment, and I'm from the Midwest, where brokers don't exist. I've been living in New York for two years and every broker and landlord I have dealt with has been sketchy, unreliable, and clearly in it for themselves and the money I was going to hand them. Haim was different. He showed a genuine interest in finding what was perfect for us, not just what would get him paid. The entire process was pleasant, quick, and dare I even say enjoyable. My girlfriend and I are not 'rich' so he was not simply catering to us for our money. We had a tight budget and still he went out of his way to find us the perfect place when several of the other apartments he showed us simply didn't work out. He understood our unique financial situation and worked with us, more than any other broker has done before. When we finally closed on the place, he was just as happy as we were. He congratulated us and told us how happy he was that he was able to find us the perfect place. We wanted to write him a review as soon as we left his office, but he told us to wait until we moved in and make sure everything went smoothly. The day before we moved in, we had some trouble getting our keys from our new landlord. It was getting stressful so I reached out to Haim and he stepped in. Within five minutes, he had spoken to the landlord, who then contacted me, and just like that we were set to move in. Haim's job was already done, but he helped us out anyway. Very shady and untrustworthy, be careful. Saw a unit twice and was told I was picky for asking standard questions such as if smoking is allowed in the building (hallways smelled like cigarettes) and where are the laundry units. These are common questions any wise leaseholder should ask. After making a final decision to go forward, I was told to meet Haim at his office. Funny, his first question was why was I there...because he told me to come to his office after viewing the apartment. I told him I am here to look at the lease agreement. As soon as I asked to see it, he told me I was picky and this would not be a right fit. I would be careful before he cons you or uses dishonest sale pressure tactics to sign anything. I think he expected desperation or to beg for the place...Good luck. I think of it as a blessing in disguise because at the end of the day, would you want to live there with someone like that? I used Haim Dadi to get into an apartment in Forest Hills in early August. At first everything was okay, but after a few weeks I began having problems. Above me lived two college students who seemed to be up all night preventing me from getting enough sleep. Plus the fridge was acting up and unfortunately the landlord refused to do anything at all for me! I contacted Haim, explained all my problems and that I cannot live there anymore. He right away told me not to worry and that he would find me another apartment in the area and NOT take another broker's fee. Within a week he found me an apartment in forest Hills just two blocks away. He also recommended a guy on the block that helped me move all of my stuff for little money- and Haim chipped in. Now I actually have a better, bigger apartment that is actually a bit closer to the 75th Ave train station! Do your due diligence and find the right broker who has a history in the area that you are looking to live. read more
