After hearing about our friend's experience, my wife and I decided to reach out to Lily Tran to sell our Queens co-op. From the very first interaction, we knew that we were in good hands. She is very knowledgeable about the real estate market and gave us a fair assessment of the apartment. Lily and her team was hands on with helping us get our place staged for photos so the online listing would draw some interest. We didn't expect much but we were blown away with the photos and the ultimate listing (including the description). Though it took several weeks of open houses and showing, the end result was Lily was able to sell our co-op (it happened to be a time where the real estate market was on the downturn due to rising interest rates). We were kept up to speed every step of the way, Lily was in constant communication with us at every step and made us feel at ease. Since we had such a wonderful experience, we also utilized Lily's company to help us buy our next home. Michelle was our realtor. She was patient and was very knowledgeable with the Queens real estate market. She took the time to understand our needs and setup appointments with prospective properties. After many months of looking, we were finally able to close on our new home with Michelle's help. Thanks so much Lily, Michelle, Cindy, Jade and team!

Unfortunately judging by Trans response to my previous review she has missed the point and…read moredemonstrates exactly how she conducts her business : by blaming and making excuses. It became extremely evident that the minute we changed to a different realtor we were able to sell the property within one month and for the price we wanted. We had a much better personal, to the point, one on one communication without the nonsense redundant spam emails and had no issue with open houses. Its all smoke and mirrors. You are lucky that your careless realtor did not break the 2k AC unit. It's never wise to push any electronics to the limit. You are responsible if you break it. Just a friendly reminder. A good salesperson would never say the things she did. It's always better to accept your mistakes and see if you can do better in the future. This way, at least I could recommend you to others but I cannot due to your lack of effort and acknowledgement. Having too much pride is not the best way to improve business. If anyone in the area is looking for a good realtor please feel free to DM for info, I'm happy to recommend a good sales person. Lily Tran, I would never hire you or your team or recommend your business to anyone. Sorry.

***2026*** DO NOT WORK WITH ANY REALTOR AT VORO…read more Good evening, I reached out to Patricia Brady on Zillow about a 2BR listing in College Point, NY for $2,400. I had a viewing with her and another gentleman on AUG 4th. She informed that if I were interested in the rental, a security deposit of $2,400 was needed to remove the apt from Zillow. The deposit was sent same day, the listing was taken down. She requested my paystubs, bank statements. I sent everything via email the same day. A couple days go by, she lets me know that the "landlord" has requested my credit report via fax because he's on vacation in Greece. Not a problem, however, 2 weeks go by and shes still stating that he hasn't received it and he's not very responsive. I give it another week or 2, still no real update. I finally decided to cancel my application and request an immediate refund of my deposit. A few days go by of me writing her for my refund and she tells me she's going to add the "landlord" to an email to request the refund. I am a military member under a lot of stress and had to threaten to involve my command to get a response from this "landlord" of options for my refund. I chose to have the check from the "landlord" be sent to Patricia to then deposit and Zelle back to me electronically. It is now SEPT 8th and the "landlord" has emailed me that the check was sent to Patricia. Her excuse for all this is that the deposit his held in an escrow account when she collects deposits. It is technically a good-faith deposit but a MAJOR red flag and considered scammy. After sending texts for updates, I finally get an update from Patricia on SEPT 16 that the check was deposited on SEPT 14th & takes 2-3 business days to clear. I've deposited checks larger than that and had a portion cleared the same day and next day the full amount is available. I sent a text for an update again on SEPT 21st and no response until SEPT 23rd only after I informed her I had to go to my local precinct to file a police report. Patricia immediately called me to explain that she was working with her bank to try to send the full amount since the limit was only $500 at the time. If you do a little digging on her on the internet, you see that she does this A LOT, down to the same $500 increments for deposits returns. (Not sure if some kind of money laundering allegedly). I've texted her every other day since SEPT 23rd for my payments and have finally received the last of the $2,400 TODAY, OCT 01! Side Bar: I have all email/call/text communication to prove everything above. The company and Patricia can probably see this and don't care but this has severely damaged my trust in realtors. I will NEVER put down a deposit without signing a contract or keys in my hand ever again. I've also reported the fraud to Zillow, NYS Division of Consumer Protection & NYS Division of Licensing. I've been able to get a meeting with Ahmed Tagini, Commissioner at NYC Department of Buildings. I insist on scheduling another one to report this realtor and VORO. DO NOT USE VORO OR ANY REALTOR ASSOCIATED WITH THEM!

My experience with Tammy was nothing but great. I just moved over from Sydney, Australia and it was…read moremy first experience trying to find an apartment in New York. I had only two weeks left in my temporary residence and Tammy went above and beyond to get me into a new place in that time frame. Due to work I was only able to see apartments in the evening and on weekends and Tammy was very accommodating in showing me apartments that fit in my schedule even on a Friday night. Tammy took the time to really know and understand my requirements. As she showed me apartments she would take the time to work out what I liked and didn't like about it helping her narrow the choices of the next apartments to show me. There was a point she showed me an apartment that I really liked and I wanted to apply for but due to my lack of US credit history as I had only moved to the US the building requirements didn't fit my situation. Tammy looked into and talked me through all available options to get me into that apartment but unfortunately I was unable to meet the buildings requirements. Even after this hiccup Tammy persisted in working with me to get me into a new apartment in the time frame I had. On our last outing I saw two apartments I liked. The first place I thought was really nice and it was exactly the place I was looking for. The second place still had all the amenities I was looking for but wasn't as nice as the first one but it had significant lower price point. Thinking about my budget I opted for the second place and let Tammy know. Tammy, knowing that I really wanted the first place negotiated the rent down with a longer lease and also got the building to pay for a percentage of the broker fee. This was definitely a really nice surprise and I was able to get the place I really wanted. At first I didn't really understand the reason of why someone would use a broker but my experience with Tammy really showed me the value of using one. Tammy definitely went above and beyond to help me get a place in the time I had but even more so a place that I really wanted. She showed determination and persisted in working with me even though I was being very picky and had issues with meeting all the requirements of some buildings. Most of all I didn't feel like I was working with someone that was just doing their job, I definitely felt like I was working with someone that really wanted to help me find a new home. I highly recommend working with Tammy to help you find your new home.

The person I spoke with was super professional, straight speaking but kind, and took her time with me. Her advice however was really discouraging and quite absolute - I was so depressed after getting off the phone with her- she suggested that I might look for a room for him to rent somewhere because with a budget of $2,000 and low credit on his part; that no one would really want to work with that profile or mine as an out of state guarantor. Merely 12 days later, he is now set up with a lovely studio in a nice building, one block from the train in Sunnyside for $2,100. Some are more open, more nuanced, more willing to find solutions and more apt to think creatively than others. Find the individual realtor and the real estate firm that best fits your outlook.

I met Ann at the very first open house I ever went to as a prospective first time homebuyer. I…read morefound the open house on Zillow, knew that particular apartment was out of my reach, but figured I had to start somewhere. As I was getting my feet wet over the next few weeks, getting my mortgage pre-approval letter, etc, I attended several other open houses and interacted with several different agents. No one came within a mile of Ann's level of professionalism, so I dug her card out of my purse and emailed her. Best home-buying decision I could have made! I'm a proud millennial. I own an iPhone and I'm a staunch believer that you can google anything you could ever want to know. However, I have to admit that Ann empowered me with an abundance of google-proof information. As a first-time homebuyer, I definitely needed some guidance as to the steps in the process, but Ann's guidance went well beyond that. Some examples: look at home listings twice at different times of the day to decide which you want to go see, you have to get a gift letter notarized, how much the co-op board wanted in reserves, and don't go out and buy furniture until after the closing because the bank will run your credit the day before and you don't want to tip your debt to income ratio by charging furniture on your credit card and jeopardize your mortgage. This is not information you're going to find on the information page on REDFIN and it was incredibly valuable. Finally, I'd recommend Ann to both buyers and sellers for two reasons. 1. She isn't pushy. She respected that I work full time and generally am not available for more than a few minutes during business hours. She gave me the information about listings and then gave me the space to come to her with my thoughts. 2. She has a very good sense for who fits where. She helped me find a place I loved within a few weeks, and made sure I was a good candidate for the co-op board before I made an offer. She knew what information to share to advocate for me as an attractive advocated buyer, and my offer was accepted! The process took a few months but I am now a proud homeowner!
