I worked with Janet, who at first was friendly but when I asked questions that I thought were warranted, she got very angry and unprofessional. She made it very clear that she "needed a rental", meaning she was more interested in the quick month's rent as her fee, instead of meeting the needs of the renter. I was very let down, and even when I tried to continue working with her - she stopped returning my calls and e-mails. You are not doing me a favor by helping me find an apartment. The real estate agents are the middle men getting in the way and taking a month's rent from me. I'll go somewhere else when I buy a house. Their loss.

I'll try to keep this short, because I refuse to let this man and his splattered shitstain of a…read morecompany take any more of my life than he already has. After finding an apartment and agreeing to it despite a missing window and toilet seat, we gave this horrible man several hours of inappropriately late phone time and the most invasive application package ever requested. BUT. The next week, when we arrived to sign the lease after being approved, we asked the following four questions about our lease. 1. Why does the lease say rent is more than $100 more than we'd agreed to pay? 2. Why was the lease start date a week before we'd agreed (and a week before the present day)? 3. The lease allowed for the landlord to enter the apartment at any time. Could we please amend that to require the landlord to give us reasonable notice ahead of time? 4. Could we have a rider confirming that the toilet seat and window would be repaired? After questions 4, Scott Cooper told us that we were asking too many questions and he had NEVER had his lease questioned like that before. It wouldn't work, he stated plainly, and asked us to leave. Stunned and furious, we canceled our truck and movers and started our search from scratch, having lost several crucial days and most of our faith in humanity. If you value your time, stability, and faith in humanity, run, run, run, run from Scott Cooper and Cooper Real Estate.

What stood out most was that he focused on helping me find the right home for my family and my needs, rather than simply prioritizing a sale. His honesty, guidance, and commitment made a stressful process feel much more manageable. Vinny has raised the bar for what a real estate agent should be in today's market. I'm extremely grateful for his support and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home.

This is the kind of broker you want working for you. I bought my condo through Jim (the owner of…read moreSun-Wood) 10 years ago, and turned to him again when it was time to rent it out last year. Unlike your typical broker who always seems anxious to close a deal and has a little bit of that used-car-salesman thing going on, Jim is patient, thoughtful, and honest to a fault. He is also laid-back and "zero-pressure." He doesn't sugar-coat anything or just tell you what you want to hear, even when he's working for the other side in a deal. When I bought my condo, he was representing the seller, but I found him to be completely straightforward and up-front about everything ... even those things that a buyer would consider bad about a property. He is also very laid-back and "zero-pressure." So as a buyer I loved that, and when it was time to become a landlord, I knew that my prospective tenants would love that too.

They offered to sell my building for a very low 1% commission, and 3D walk-through marketing was provided at no extra charge. The suggested sales price ended up being very close to the market price we got after bids from many potential buyers. Other Realtors gave a suggested sales price well below market, apparently to make it easier for them to sell the property. The other Realtors also generally wanted 2-3% commission and did not offer the 3D walk-through. Vincent personally came to inspect my building, to make sure it was accurately advertised, with no bad surprises for the buyer. This shows that even if he represents the seller, he considers the interests of the buyers. He is not out to trick anybody. He wants a clean deal that all parties are happy with. Trustworthy man, trustworthy company. The agent working the deal was totally "on it", willing to go above and beyond to sell my property. Many months after the sale I emailed Vincent regarding an issue that was unrelated to the sale. To my surprise, I got a fast and useful response. When choosing a Realtor to buy or sell your property, it is difficult to know who to trust. From my experience, you can't go wrong with The Vincent Koo Team.
