Employee working today was nice and helpful. The mint milk tea was bland, really milky and pretty expensive at nearly $7. The place is tiny and has no seating. I would probably not come back.

Dirty Pistachio Latte: It IS as good as it looks.

I love the Dirty Pistachio Latte...I still think about that pistachio rim and I'm looking forward to being in the area again so I can get another one. We got it at 75% sweet and I'm thinking of getting it at 50% next time-- just to see if it's passes my palate of lessening sweetness. Overall, great experience and recommend it for latte lovers locals and visitors.

The shop is very small and you can self order at the kiosk. The drinks are very over priced in my opinion and everything is an add on. The base price is already almost $7 and I have to add on if I want caffeine ?! 10.43 for a coffee is crazy. Staff is nice and helpful.

I may have just found my new go-to boba spot in little Tokyo! Came here after a nice meal next door, looking for a sweet treat post savory goodness. The employees were very welcoming from the get-go! The gentleman offered my party some matcha shaved ice samples as they had just gotten the ice cream machine delivered that day- that we graciously accepted! It was giving a mix of dip n dots and shaved ice, not my favorite but my coworker loved it and ended up ordering some. I opted for the classic classy matcha latte, 50% sugar, with boba- and it was on the mfn money. The matcha they use is some quality stuff, not your typical Starbucks-esque, but also not bitter and earthy. The sweet kick from the boba was just enough to tie the whole drink together. My other coworker got the mango matcha latte, 50% sugar- delicious as well. If I was going for something a little more refreshing, that would have been a great choice. I'll definitely be back to try some of their coffee drinks!

Wanted to get a drink before catching my bus. And the guy at the counter was NOT it. He was being snarky but like helpful for first timers. He had us take the order on the tablet which is fine. However he made my drink incorrectly and wanted to be smart about it. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and he gave it to me hot. I let him know it was iced and he poured my hot coffee over ice. Which made it taste AWFUL. My friend got a strawberry matcha which was beautiful and she loved it. I really wish I would have liked my drink too. But if I would have wanted a warm drink, I would have. I might be back. Maybe not.

Drink: 5/5 I ordered what looked tastiest and we loved it lol my coworker and I absolutely enjoyed every thing they offered here! We opted with the pistachio matcha. Service: 5/5 The ladies who run this place were so kind, helpful, and had a great attitude. All around: 5/5 I will definitely come back. It's small, clean, and cute. Parking is rough but worth the headache!

Fast, affordable, delicious, & great customer service! The shop is small, but cute. We ordered a mango lychee refresher and an Okinawa brown sugar milk tea.

My friend and I came here early in the morning to get something to drink. It's a small store, and there were two chairs outside their door. We placed our orders through the kiosk. Since there were no other customers yet, we went through the menu slowly to figure out what to order. We decided on Horchata Milk Tea and Organic Matcha Collagen Snowy Latte. Both were very good. I really enjoyed the latte. We had parked at the Japanese Village Plaza parking garage on 111 S Central Ave and walked across the street to get here.

Large size Pistachio Dirty Coffee Collagen Snowy? I think?
    Kelly W.

This is a cute place. It's also efficient, since you order at the screen and wait, which is nice if you just want a pick me up. The person working was friendly and my coffee was ready quickly. I purchased a large pistachio coffee thingy, and added espresso since it was going to be a long day. There are TONS of pistachios, and it's perfectly sweet, but not overly strong tasting. It's a bit $$$ for what it is (which is why I took off a star), and there's nowhere to sit if you're looking to take a break, but it's a nice little treat for every now and then. I'd come back to try the tea and sandwiches! Recommended!

strawberry matcha 4/5 the matcha was strong and I liked that the strawberry syrup tasted very fresh like they make it in house but didn't like how chunky it was. Would come back to get if I was in the area but maybe not go out of my way to get. tiramisu latte 3.5/5 nothing special. I thought it just tasted like a mocha. The drink was good just did not meet expectations from the name.

Small little coffee and tea spot in little tokyo! We stopped into this 5x5ft cafe for some boba. The kiosk menu was easy to follow, with pictures of the drinks. We ordered a mango matcha collagen and strawberry matcha collagen at a kiosk and waited inside the little shop. It was on the pricey side, $10 for a large drink with boba. There's no seating or bathroom inside.

    Blueberry Matcha and pistachio latte
    Melanie Y.

The blueberry matcha was good, but not the best matcha I've ever had. The pistachio latte was ok. The rim is very thick and hard to drink. The shop is super small but there plenty of room to wait outside. They made the drinks pretty slow, maybe because the drinks were a bit more complicated? I would only come back if I had to wait for a restaurant in the area. Cute drinks tho.

I guarantee this spot is going to blow up soon. This is 17Rootea that just opened in Little Tokyo. You won't find your traditional boba milk teas here, instead they focus on sourcing clean ingredients like organic boba so you can still sip on healthy and yummy drinks without any of the guilt. Pistachio mango avocado smoothie -- sounds crazy I know but it all works so well together. And I didn't drive 80 minutes just for one drink, so I got 3 hehe. I think they forgot the corn kernels that were supposed to go on top of the Sweet corn cream latte but I still enjoyed it nonetheless, and I can see myself coming back just for their Red ginseng tea. Thanks for reading! ^-^

While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

Some people may not have noticed because there were people who sat at the tables and enjoyed their matcha and soft serve ice cream. Yay for them. Would I return? Not sure. I enjoyed everything, but the parking situation is not ideal. I feel like I have to go out of my way to come here. Although Honda Plaza did not have any homeless in the immediate area, as soon as you drive to the main street, there was a homeless camp nearby. So it's just less and less appealing to return.
