Came in at happy hour which is $3 off all drinks from 4:00 to 8:00 Monday thru Friday. I got a great well-made old fashioned for $7.63! Old school prices for the old school ambiance. It's a bit of a hike getting up the stairs to the place but it is worth it as you feel transported back in time. Well decorated with great music. Great place to chill and relax from the summer heat. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

My step son (7) was knocked to the ground by 2 college aged guys who were involved in a shoving match. After being kicked out me and my step son snuck back in at 2AM and bummed cigs from the outside table area on the first floor until security recognized me and physically escorted me off the premises. The biggest negative is they charge more for their beer and booze than other places in the area. This spot has a lot of potential along with their HUGE downstairs space but they really need to improve the beer options to maybe offer such exotic options as Yuengling. The upstairs super groovy craft draft beer options are alright but they definitely could add some German draft beers as well to really improve the selection and improve the Prosting. Overall this is the shiny new kid on the block and when the Skybar next door is closed this seems to be the most popular spot in downtown Auburn while most folks seem to find the Skybar a much better option when both are open as it has better prices on drinks. Drinks were fabulous (try the Peach Mule) and we crushed the bacon flight (fought over who could get the last maple bite). Then we had shrimp and grits, bison burger and a Caesar. Our server was training tonight but his apprentice was just as knowledgeable and attentive - in fact he helped us with drink selection and ensured we had bottles of water flowing since we were so dehydrated from the day. The wings were wayyy too big and felt undercooked, and the bacon flight was unremarkable. The entrees were also okay. The best was the shrimp and grits which I would return on this dish only. Evrything was just too too salty. My palate was ruined after a while. The rest were just okay, but I did like the greens. Standout was that bread pudding.
