I'm a big fan of the brewery side. The in house kitchen is new and I'm still getting a feel for it. I tried the nachos and chicken tenders. Both were okay. Others at our table had tacos and flatbread pizza. Both got great reviews. Service is always good. Busy night but they always hustle. Biggest bar in Carroll County I believe. High ceilings, lots of room. Big screen TVs all around. When the weather is nice they open the back garage doors to a nice patio. Worth a visit

We've come here twice and I can see how it would be a popular local spot for people, but it's not my top spot to drive 40 minutes too. I do appreciate that they offer more than beer and also have food options. We came the second time because of the holiday pop up market. My husband ordered the IPA and enjoyed it. I had a few cocktails and one I enjoyed was the crush-mad cheer. I did appreciate the cute names and variety of drinks options. We ordered a flatbread and chicken nachos. They were both OK. The nachos were definitely missing jalapeños and not enough nachos cheese. The pizza wasn't bad, but couldn't used extra hot honey. Overall, I like the ambiance and set up, but I'd like to see some better food options.

Located in Eldersburg, it was quite a drive for me personally but had some friends visiting from out of town so decided to check out this spot! The location is huge that can accommodate small or large parties! they even have a central bar area you can gather if you want a more intimate vibe. The brewery is also family friendly as well had several kids in our group as well! They offer a nice variety of beers and in house seltzers! I tried the lei'd beer and the pie one and I am a fan of sours so I preferred the in pie we crust. I also tried their prickleberry seltzer. for those that are wanting a sweeter option, this one is not for you. In fact while I did not kind, it was very bland and had a subtle flavor of prickle berry. My friend for the strawberry cheesecake one and it was very delicious! The service was great too! They had several servers walking around and if it wasn't one designated for your section, they were able to get your server for you almost immediately!!

So 1623 Brewing has upped the ante and now joined with Liberatore's Craft Culture serving food, wine and cocktails on draught! I sincerely can't say enough about the quality and authenticity of the various styles they brew here. I met "Brewer Matt" today and found he was previously with Rogue Brewing out on west coast - one of my favorites

Came on a whim last weekend when that weird weather was happening. Stopped to pick up food for me and the kiddo. Hubby opted for the food truck. Wow, the place was hopping but we found a table near the band and a great view into brewery. The BBQ truck was rolling out when we arrived but a Greek/Mediterranean truck was there. No sours but an impressive selection of other types. I went with the make your own seltzer. How neat! Don't normally drink them but the ability to pick and mix your own flavors was awesome. Clearly a favorite spot for the Burg. The band was great. We got to watch the weirdest 5 minute blizzard that came thru. A college friend gave us a behind the scenes tour. So score on that point. Looking forward to going back.

1623 put some life back into this small town. If you're from the area you're probably aware there isn't much to do besides go to a chain restaurant. 1623 is the only brewery in town and the head brewmaster is from CO and typically makes some incredible beer. There's typically a food truck outside in case you're craving food. I was a bit disappointed in the beer I had this time and that's the first time I've experienced a subpar beer. Overall this a great "infant" brewery that's rapidly expanding for a good reason! Get out and enjoy a cold one.

Nice spot. Large bar. Good selection of beers. They have a few Signature drinks as well.

We've been to 1623 Brewing a couple of times and have never been disappointed with the beer. I recently tried the BeerMosa and loved it- highly recommend it. I also like the IPAs and Pilsners

I visited 1623 Brewing for the first time on Sunday while I was on a brewery bus tour. This brewery has a huge spread out space with a ton of seating inside and out. Part of our excursion included a tour which was nice. They even gave us a little goodie bag as part of the event. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The beer was tasty and my husband and I already said we will be back!

It was crazy how fast the service was. We ordered and 2 seconds later our drinks came there. I loved the seltzer bar!! You can pick out any of their suggested combos or create your own flavor.

Great pressed Cuban sandwich, best grouper sandwich, good food…read more We were out on Liberty road, near Oscar's Alehouse in Eldersburg MD, and we remembered the excellent grouper sandwiches we've had here. They were good as the ones we got fresh in Florida. We wanted takeout this time, and decided on their $16 Cuban pressed sandwich. It's layers of tender thin-sliced slow-roasted pork, ham, and Swiss cheese. The bread is like a french baguette, pressed and crispy-toasted, spread with yellow mustard and tangy dill-pickle chips. It's a rich handful of a sandwich. It came with generous hot soft boardwalk-style fries. Oscar's was quick and friendly. The sandwich was excellent!

Parking lot was packed on the Thursday I went. Inside it was pretty busy as well. Lots of large groups in the dining area. The hostess was friendly and there was just a few minutes wait for a table to be cleaned for us. After being seated a friendly waiter took our drink orders. I decided to try their house beer, Oscar's Lucky 12 to start. Drinks came out very quickly. By the time he was back with them we decided on what we wanted to eat. The menu is American Pub Fare. I had the Turkey Avocado Club that came with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious and pilled high with freshly sliced turkey. Fries were crispy and delicious as well. Definitely a 5 for the food. I ordered their seasonal Brown Sugar Whiskey Sour. Man it was heavy on the sour. Not something I would get against The service was a definite 5 as well. Everyone there was nice and welcoming. I want to go back soon on a Wednesday night to see how good the wings are for the special that day.

Surprisingly pleased with my Walker's experience!…read more I met with a former student. Since I got there a little early, I ordered a small pizza as an appetizer. The waiter didn't quite know what I meant, but did get the request to slice it in smaller rectangles rather than triangle slices. It was light and tasty. However, I'm pretty sure I'd be very hungry if I had ordered it as my meal. That was followed by the beer can chicken cobb salad. It was just the right size! We sat outside. Since Walker's is at the end of the strip, they have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. No fault of the establishment, when the sun went down, it got cold quickly! Now, I'm inclined to try the other Table and Tap restaurant a couple miles west.

Hubby and I met friends here for double date night. We were greeted by a kind hostess who quoted a 30-35 minute wait. They do not accept reservations. We were seated within 15 minutes and greeted by Jackson. This restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a semi woodsy décor. Collectively, we ordered the following. Winter Daiquiri Walter's Old Fashioned Shots (Titos, Crown Royal, Lemon Drop, Green Tea) Sparkling Cosmo Black Manhattan Smoked Wings (Buffalo) Pan Seared Salmon Fish & Chips Cajun Crab Cake Sandwich The beverages did what they were ordered to do. They gave hefty pours and we appreciated it. The Smoked Buffalo Wings were pretty yum. Great portion size. Tasty. Pan Seared Salmon was perfectly prepared to my liking, I substituted the risotto for fries to avoid the dairy. It was pretty good. I would order again. Well plated w zucchini under salmon. The fish and chips were the hit at the table. The breading had an amazing flavor, and the fish was prepared well. The Cajun Crab Sandwich was a hit w my hubby. He devoured his food quickly stating he would get it again. It was well plated, flavorful, and fulfilling. We received 10/10 service by Jackson who was attentive to our requests. There was an issue w a dish at our table that the manager (Kelly) resolved quickly, and left our table mate happy. I highly recommend this establishment for a good, hearty meal.

I had gone there many years ago and had many of the same complaints however about a year ago I retried and was pleasantly surprised by changes that were made. I now go every few weeks for different craft beers and other "necessities" and always find it to be very well stocked, clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The best part about Total Discount - they let you do mix-six packs! From what I have found, they are one of the remaining stores in the area that allow this. I highly recommend them for anything you may need liquor wise and if you are into different craft beers, this is hands down the only place to go in Carroll County. Side note - no one has ever asked or tried to make a copy of my license there. My feeling of this story is that the cashier probably wanted to SCAN the barcode on the back of the ID. That's not for creating a database as the store is strictly prohibited from doing that by law unless the customer gives consent. Maryland DOES HIGHLY RECOMMEND that each store scan all IDs with liquor sales to ensure the ID isn't fake. Many stores have a policy to do this, due to State and Local pressure. Certainly you can't hold the store accountable for this.

They didn't have the specific brand I was looking for, but showed me where the rum was located after looking it up in their system. They have several check out lines and I was assisted right away. I'm not sure what bottles usually cost so I can't speak to cost-effectiveness, but I did notice there is a frequent buyers program and sales were posted throughout the store.

We were all completely satisfied with our food. Our waitress was attentive, and our drinks frequently refilled. The prices were also very fair for the great quality. I would recommend this restaurant.
