Visiting Texas - from start to finish was a disaster related mostly to customer service as well as sanitation. We had 5 in our party. 2 people got served first then 15-20 minutes later the rest of the food came. No one got to eat together. The waiter sneezed in his arm while holding our wine glass then wiped his nose on his sleeve of this uniform. We had to chase down wait staff, get up and get our own silverware and extra plates. My salad came out wrong not once, but twice. The waiter didn't know the menu and quite frankly we didn't know who was serving us. The manager said he was taking care of the one waiters behavior because he was being inappropriate and rude. Though, nothing got better. Every single guest at our table was perturbed by the poor customer service. Highly NOT recommended. Go a few minutes down the street to Ripe and get a better meal and great customer service where you leave satisfied and welcoming to come back. Owners, clean house!!! Focus should be on customer service, attentiveness and most importantly, sanitation. read more

Delicious delicious delicious! The service is just as good as the food. We had breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection; nice presentation. read more

Where do I begin? We came here on a Sunday, and the place wasn't busy. The four of us were seated quickly. After 10 minutes, a server noticed us and took our drink order. We ordered our meals and waited 20 minutes. At that point, the server came to our table to inform me that the kitchen had run out of the ingredients for my meal. The server offered a similar option, which I ordered. We waited another 10 minutes, and my kids and my husband got their food. I continued to wait. After another 15 minutes, my meal arrived. The rest of my family was nearly done, and my little boy was getting squirrely, so I asked for my order to go. The sandwich I came home with was tasteless and soggy, which I expected, since I ate it 45 minutes later, standing over my kitchen sink in starved desperation. The atmosphere is beautiful, though. We won't be back, ever. We can enjoy a picnic in the park and save the $60 if we want to enjoy scenery. read more

Great food, service could be a little better. Love the patio and outdoor dining. Very relaxing. truly an enjoyable place to dine.

I would like to review the food and the service but never got the opportunity. Hearing interesting things about the place, we decided to try it after church on Sunday. Arriving at noon, we were quoted a 35-40 minute wait. At 1 pm the Yelp seating app said there were still seventeen parties ahead of us. I went up and asked the hostess if that was correct. She assured me that the Yelp app was wrong and that there were only seven parties ahead of us but that it should only be 15 minutes. At 1:20 I went up and asked where we were. She told me it would still be at least another 25 minutes to seat us as the kitchen was backed up. Thanks but no thanks. Sad. read more

Lots of brunch places in EP, and this is a good one. An unexpectedly beautiful location. The menu is nice even for picky eaters :)

My husband andi have eaten here twice for breakfast and once for lunch. The atmosphere is relaxing. Service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious and creative. We will definitely make this one of our favorite spots in El Paso. read more

The breakfast selection is delicious and reasonably priced. They also have quick and attentive service. Dog friendly patio.

The challah French toast was perfect! Two thick but not enormous pieces of challah, battered and cooked perfectly. Served with an assortment of berries and a chantilly whipped cream. Very tasty. Service was very friendly. And the setting was wonderful -- walking through a small garden and past fountains. read more

My wife's omelette was delicious, but small. My grilled beef salad was just fair: the meat and other ingredients did not come together with the dressing and I left hungry. Those around me seemed satisfied though and I did enjoy the yogurt and granola and I heartily recommend the flourless chocolate cake. read more

Great place for breakfast. The over easy eggs are perfect. The croquet madame was worth every cholesterol laden bight. The salad served with it was perfect. The vinaigrette complimented the richness of the soubise on the sandwich. Good prices for high quality fresh food. The staff is courteous and helpful. Great place for a weekday brunch. I haven't tried them for dinner or on the weekend. read more

Yes. This on steps up to its Yelp hype. Go there. Limited breakfast menu (a good thing in my book), very high quality selection and ingredients, very tasty (don't salsa or salt until you taste, no added flavor is needed), good ambience, subtle but friendly staff. Pricing is not cheap but the value is there. Do it. read more

150 Sunset - Yes. This on steps up to its Yelp hype. Go there. Do it. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - El Paso, Texas

We have eaten at this restaurant several times/ I gave it a great review on google BUT that review no longer stands. We were there Sunday for breakfast/ the food was good but we were there over 3 hours. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was crowded and it was Sunday lunch time. We returned on Tuesday to check out their dinner menu. There were the 4 of us and a total of 5 other people- not 5 other tables but 5 other people total!! Again we were there 2.5 hours. We gave our waiter our credit cards to pay and 20 minutes Iater I went up to see what they were doing with our credit cards and what the problem was. By this time 3 employees were trying to figure out their machine and how to charge the cards. Today I checked my bank account and I have 4 different amounts charged on my card!!!! Get it together 150 Sunset- food is good but not worth the aggravation. To really add insult to injury the person helping our server with the transaction NEVER apologized or offered a comp/ in fact acted irritated that I was questioning him!! If you read review carefully you would see that it was not taken care of before we left-I have 4 different charges on my card from your restaurant read more

I was looking forward to trying out this place. We waited a while to order our beverages and it took 45min to get our food out. The manager was VERY nice and apologized as well as adjusted our tab. I had heard great things of this place. I think we just had an off day.... I would give it a another chance, especially since the beet salad with tenderloin was very good!! read more

The food is delicious and the servers were friendly and helpful. We've been here for both brunch and dinner and have been very pleased every time. read more

A must when in El Paso! There isn't a single thing on the menu that you shouldn't order. The 150 omelette is huge and great anytime of day.

Maybe it was just a bad night when our group of 18 (arrangements had been made earlier for the size of our group and time of arrival) showed up around 6 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2020. The service was extremely slow. Our table even started a pool to see by what time our table would be served. The person who picked just after 7 p.m. won. The staff seemed overworked, indifferent, and not to be too picky, dressed in what I would call "torn clothing chic". Not at all what I would expect for a place that seemed a bit upscale. I will say my salad was good: fresh greens, berries, and walnuts. Others at the table seemed o.k. with their orders. For as few other customers that were there, the time it took to be served was inexcusable. Luckily, we were from out of state, so there's no chance we'll be tempted to go back. Locals: If you go, be prepared for a wait. Or, as noted above, just maybe it was an off night. read more

Deeply pains me to write this, especially because my previous review was 5-stars. Came in today (a regular Friday morning) for breakfast with a party of 4. It was busy when we arrived so we waited about 20 minutes for a table, which was no problem. When I came in to check the status, I found out the host had not even written our name down. When I shared this, they were apologetic and sat us about 5 minutes later. When we sat, we were met by our waiter who brought us our drinks and we ordered. 50 minutes later, we still did not have our food. I spoke with the woman who seemed to be the manager and shared our concern with her. Essentially she called me a liar, saying it had not been that long. The manager came to speak with us saying he moved our food up to come out next. We received our food about 5 mins later. I am just so disappointed because we love the food and the vibe here. It was disheartening to have this experience for sure. read more

We've been wanting to try 150 Sunset for awhile and chose Sunday which was not the best time for a first time visit imo. It was a super hot day and the sun was out in full force. We signed in for a table for five, first available. We were given an estimated wait time of an hour. Easy, we walked over to the farmers market. Then we came back to wait the remaining half hour which turned into almost another hour. We were fine with sitting outside and there were tables, but maybe not enough servers? When we sat, our server answered our questions and made a few recommendations. I was disappointed that even at 1:30 pm the "lunch" or entree portion of the menu only had three items compared to what we saw on yelp. Kids enjoyed three different meals; PB&J, cheeseburger and traditional breakfast. Great food, great price. I ordered the meat and cheese tray as my meal to share with everyone and to pick in case we ordered too much food with the kids meals. Y'all this tray is gorgeous to look at and equally delish!!!! I would have liked some crackers or toasted sourdough instead of the thin breadstick crackers. We also had an omelet and it was so good! Drinks like mimosas for 3.00!!! and gin and tonics, bloody Mary's, etc. just can't be beat especially when they taste so good! Will try again on another less busy day and expect to add another star! read more

I like the food and place, TERRIBLE SERVICE, be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour for you food to get to your table. And this is not the first time actually the third, not coming back any time soon!!!!! read more

Excellent breakfast food and amazing bread pudding w/ vanilla bean ice cream. A must try!

Gets really busy here however the setting is very cute and cozy. First time here and food came out okay not amazing and not bad.

I came in yesterday to a full house stopping for lunch. It was obvious that we came in on a huge rush but decided to stay although the environment was pretty loud and a little chaotic. The hostest was very prompt to seating us and got our drinks immediately. Our server, Julia, dropped them off and convinced us into getting the DELICIOUS tuna ceviche. She told us about the newly added items on the menu and helped my husband and I decide what we were grubbing on. (btw, mac and cheese is delicious) The food came out at a good time as well with an amazing presentation!! The manager came by to check up on us and tables around us. This place is a hidden gem and will be returning very soon to try the peppermint cake! Although the environment was a tad bit crazy, we had great service from everybody, food was amazing and will be returning. read more

We had a great breakfast today at 150 Sunset. We tried the Sweet Potato Pancakes - super yummy! Service was great - never ending cop of coffee. Aaron took great care of us and recommended fantastic choices. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. read more

Favorite Sunday brunch spot. Coffee is delicious and their breakfast tacos are worth the wait!

The food is delicious! The last couple times (on a Sunday) we have come the wait time for two people is 45 minutes to an hour. We've waited both times. Once you're seated and food order is taken, it's another 45 minutes to an hour for your food to be served. It gave us time to go across the street to the farmers market. read more

Good food but pricey $$$$ fair service! There are better restaurants in El Paso not too expensive. Won't be back !!!

The Kitchen at 150 Sunset offers a unique, beautiful setting and tasty French toast. Fresh pressed juice was a favorite of our children's. It is a little pricey but worth the price and would be a nice place to go for a special occasion. We will be back. read more

Every Disappointed with one of my favorite places to eat. We come here at least one to two times per week. Went on 3.14.18 for lunch, everything was going well for a friend and I, but once we ordered at 11.34 a.m., everything starting going Wrong. Customers that after us where getting their food, I understand that we ordered the Pasta dish and the Tuna cheviche and cup of lentil soup, but we have never had to wait 45 minutes for food to come, when people all around us that came after us kept getting served and quickly. The kept saying their computer was down, that our pasta dish was taking longer and once I heard one too many excuses, we walked out, still after 45 minutes they were Not being clear on when our food was going to be served, once a larger party got served, that's it is had enough of excuses from the server and the floor manager ignored us as well. I don't think I will be coming back for a very long time or never. I called also to cancel the Wine pairing event and when I told Adan my experience, he said that the computer was down, but no apologies for our experience that day. read more

Good brunch options. Portions are filling and service is quick. Very pretty outside for those of us who enjoy good scenery.

Drove from downtown El Paso to have breakfast. Beware it does not open until 8 AM. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Wait staff was very atentive and accommodating; kept coffee cups full. Very clean and great ambiance. Highly recommended. read more
