This is my favorite place for Sunday brunch. There is always a wait, so don't come too hungry, but it's worth the wait.

First off the restaurant had a really cool vibe with nice decor and the menu looked great. I ordered the quinoa salad and my friend ordered the huevos rancheros. When they brought out her plate, it consisted of two corn tortillas, topped with two fried eggs and what looked to be two slices of melted velveeta cheese. Nothing else was on it. No salsa, no garnishes... When she took a bite, she said it really did taste like velveeta cheese. We were pretty stunned by the presentation. I mean this is El Paso, you expect to have amazing Mexican food or maybe even great Mexican food! This dish looked and tasted like a hungry teenager made it at home with the only ingredients he could find in the fridge. We spoke with the manager and to our shock, he actually confirmed that they did indeed use sliced cheese on top. My friend sent it back and ordered an omelette. Expectations were low at this point and when the omelette came out, it was lackluster as well. Not sure if they had a new chef or if they were just out of ingredients in the kitchen, but the food fell short of even being mediocre. read more

Super weird experience here. I came for lunch and thought I'd order a cocktail because it seemed like they had a solid menu. The guy seemed so put off and confused by my ordering a drink. He then came back with another person and asked what I wanted then walked away and came right back to ask for ID. I have no problem being ID'd, I'm 32 so it's kind of great, but the entire experience made me feel like some kind of criminal for ordering a cocktail at noon. I finally asked him if he was put off by my ordering a drink and he said "well we don't really get people ordering drinks. We have one other table and that's it.". OK, cool, I can appreciate that but the way him and his server buddy were acting you would have thought I ordered some kind of drug at the table. If a place doesn't feel comfortable with people ordering cocktails, perhaps you shouldn't serve them. read more

The Kitchen @ 150 Sunset is absolutely awesome. The food, atmosphere and service were beyond our expectations. It was first time in El Paso and looked up somewhere to eat and they were one of the first to pop up. All great reviews and I can understand why. We went for breakfast and I had the Breakfast Toastie which is out of this world. Finally a perfect breakfast sandwich with a salad that had a dressing that was great. My daughter had the Challah French toast which was delicious and my wife had the Breakfast Quesadilla which was awesome also. The presentation of the food is outstanding and was so delicious. We will come back to El Paso just because of the Kitchen @ 150 Sunset. The whole set up of restaurant and store are magnificent. Service was great along with food, atmosphere and the people that go there. Our server was great read more

Found this place on Yelp minutes after landing in El Paso from Austin. We were looking for something light and healthy. We parked in the back and walked thru a garden style area and passed a special event/wedding venue and found our breaky spot tucked away awaiting for us! Plenty of outdoor covered seating.. we walked in and got greeted by the hostess and quickly got a table for 2. Super chic interior and I noticed a wine bar in the back.... ordered 2 cappuccinos to start. I got the breakfast quesadilla with no ham and hubs got the blueberry cinnamon pancakes. He didn't eat much due to it having bacon bits throughout. He must not have read that fine little detail. Everything else was great, I shared my food and he picked off the pig as much as he could.. I was hoping to have a bite or two of his but passed since the bacon! Reason for the 4 stars... our sever didn't clear our small table after stopping by a couple times.. and my hubs had to wait quite awhile to ask for syrup... was thinking it should have come out with the pancakes. I also saw a sweet little doggo come in so I'm thinking they are dog friendly! Maybe just on patio. That's a big plus! This was a nice breaky spot and if we are ever back in EP we will be back for lunch and some vino.... I also told my friends that recently moved to EP to check this place out. Good coffee.. I saw French press coffee and fresh looking OJ that caught my eye too! read more

I would normally write a very lengthy review for a place this fantastic, but others have already done that. Simply put, this place is amazing and if you haven't tried it, you're missing out! GoGoGo! read more

We were visiting family in El Paso and found this restaurant on Yelp. So many good reviews, we had to come try it! Around 1200N we arrived, on a Wednesday. The property is kinda tucked away, and the parking lot was smallish, but there appeared to be additional parking outside the gated area. You walk past the store-area and a gift shop, and the Kitchen is in the back. But it was a nice walk, as it is nicely landscaped. We had a bit of a wait before someone acknowledged us, then when the hostess arrived and she informed us that it'll be a short wait to prepare a table to accommodate us (2 adults 4 children ). It wasn't too long. We were seated outside, and the day was beautiful! They had misters outside which made it that much nicer. I've been on a mimosa kick, so I ordered that and it was delicious. The champagne didn't wash out the juice, but you definitely felt good after a few sips! The food took a long time to come out, but the server was on top of things and kept us hydrated. I prefer that they bring the kid's meals first, which didn't happen but I hadn't stated it... that's a personal thing. I ordered a Cobb salad, add chicken, opted for ranch instead of the vinaigrette (nothing against it, just felt more like ranch this day)and I ordered the tomato-basil soup. It was so good! I couldn't believe how flavorful it was. I also asked for a pico de gallo or salsa and she brought me their house green chile and a pico de gallo. The green chile was also very flavorful and Spicy! I put it in the soup! I also asked for a little container to take home with me. The salad was plentiful, the greens fresh, chicken was grilled but not dry. The server/s checked on us, but not too frequently, and kept our water full. All in all, outside of the wait (which wasn't excessive, but noticeable) this was a pleasant visit and I would recommend going here again. read more

Loved everything we ate the food and the service was great. We will definitely be back !

Great service great food, this will be our go to spot when we are in El Paso! Sometimes the kitchen is slow but food is overall great!

The food was good and would give them another shot. There was a 30 minute wait time which was fine . After ordering drinks ( not the best mimosas) but the bar tender was lovely, we were seated - no one approached us for at least 10 mins , not even to tell us they were running behind or anything. There were a few servers on the floor working but just filling water glasses and chatting with other guests while we waited patiently for someone to acknowledge us. I ended up asking the host what the hold up was.... Finally a server took our order, was apologetic and kind. If feel the wait staff could have been a little more aware of their floor and guests. It could have been a much better experience. read more

nothing like an early morning breakfast to rap music that rattles the blown speakers. too bad the food is excellent

The food is ok..... but what makes this place bad is the service it's horrible ... enough said

I have heard a lot of good things about this place. Several friends have been there for breakfast and raved about it. My visit was in the evening for dinner. It was not a pleasant experience. I was there to celebrate my birthday. It took a while to get someone to take our drink order. I ordered the 150 Primavera Chicken. During our wait no one came by to check if we needed refills. When the food finally arrived, there was no chicken in the dish. It took more than 5 minutes to find someone to flag down to come to us. They remade the dish, but, my friends had already eaten and our glasses needed refills. Whomever was our wait person provided horrible service. I was not happy with the service and not super impressed with the food. Unfortunately. read more

We were looking for a Sunday brunch spot and searched on yelp and discovered this gem by accident. I was so excited to see the local flare in the restaurant and garden area that is surrounded by plants, fountains and amazing decor. This is a gorgeous place and it's too bad we are already married because the event space is stunning! Prices were fair and the food was great. I had the 150 omelette and my husband had the house breakfast. We can't wait to come back and experience happy hour or dinner on the beautiful patio. read more

The wait time to be served is a little longer than usual. However, great food. Just come with time .

Cold coffee, flat soda, cold breakfast omelettes and pancakes! What a waste! The place is nice but the food is subpar. Too bad.

I love this restaurant! It's pet friendly and amazing meals! I personally love the breakfast quesadillas

The kitchen at 150 sunset is absolutely spectacular. The food and service was amazing. We did have to wait for seats, but that just shows how great this place is. I would recommend the French toast. It's the best french toast I ever had! And also the waiter, Regina, was super kind and understanding. I would DEFINITELY come back. I loved it. Thank you for the amazing experience. -ASA read more

Ambiance-wise, I understand why people like The Kitchen at 150 Sunset. Other than that, there's not much to this place. Maybe I should have ordered something other than the Cobb Salad, but the red wine vinaigrette was extremely oily to accompany a salad that already has avocados in it (Read: super oily). The service was also extremely slow and inattentive. Overall, it seemed like our server forgot he was covering our table. Needless to say, I probably won't be coming here anytime soon. But I would like to give it another try some other time. read more

After a doctor appointment this morning in El Paso, we went to the Kitchen at 150 Sunset for lunch. My wife had a turkey sandwich, with at least an inch and a half of meat plus fixings. She said that the bread was fresh and tasty. I had the Pappardelle pasta with Bolognese sauce. It was delicious. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Nice location. read more

I am not sure what happened to this place. My first few visits were wonderful, but my last two brunches were grim. "French toast" was more like two cold slices of stale challah bread with a few pieces of fruit on top and a teaspoon of cream. Service was really slow. The setting is still nice, but based on these last two meals, I probably won't be returning. read more

Don't be fooled with these reviews. This so called restaurant is nothing but a failed still working overpriced landscape business. The service was slow due to understaffing. The chairs are uncomfortable and the meal portions are small and pricy. Breakfast for two was $30 plus tip. The place felt like having breakfast at the garden section of a Lowe's store. read more

I was able to go back tonight for a Yelp Event. First off the owner was there and stayed the entire time. Often asking us about our experience. The Manager, Romero, blew me away when he remembered me from months ago. Later in the evening I was able to meet the Chef when he canvased the restaurant asking about our experience. This place has top knotch food and the staff are on point. This is a definate must try!!! read more

This place was an amazing place to have brunch. The menu wasn't too extensive but they had some delicious meals. Our party ordered the French Toast, The Toastie breakfast sandwich (pictured) and the Cinnamon Bacon Pancakes. All the food was perfectly prepared and delivered quickly. I suggesting getting there as early as possible as the wait was pretty long when we left. The restaurant can also support events with a giant back room and dance floor. I've been here three times and always end up disappointed. Breakfast is ok, but they always undercook the eggs which is bothersome to me (even when I specifically ask for over medium). Last time I was there for brunch they somehow completely forgot our order, when I went to ask for it (30 minutes later) they said the cook never got it and that they would start it, so we ended up eating a solid hour after we ordered (and paid). I would've expected some sort of apology but we got nothing. Whenever I go get more coffee the pots are always empty and have to ask for them to refill them (it wouldn't had bothered me if it had been one time, but it has happened to me too often). read more

The whole building is a multipurpose commercial space, so if it looks like you're walking into the garden section of OSH you're in the right place! Was looking for a place to grab breakfast on the way back to LA, and this spot is tucked away almost on the western edge of El Paso. We ate on the patio which was shaded and quite cool at the time, though I can see it getting a bit uncomfortable later in the day. I ended up having the French Toast which was great. It's just slightly on the pricey side for breakfast, so I wouldn't recommend if you're just looking for a quick bite. We found it to be perfect since we had a long drive ahead of us and knew there wouldn't be much other than fast food until we hit Tuscon. read more

I've dined here for breakfast and it was delicious. Sundays may be somewhat of a wait, but worth it.

This place is absolutely amazing and it keeps getting better! The restaurant is constantly expanding and it looks like the ballroom area is growing as well, though the nursery seems to be getting smaller. But I regress... The Kitchen is absolutely amazing with a variety of new plates and flavors that everything sounds good and tastes even better! I ate here and got one of their smothered eggs on toast dishes (can't remember the fancy-smancy french name) and it was absolutely delicious. Their plates are really big and enough to share if your willing to put up a fight with your partner...sometimes I just want to keep eating after I'm full hahaha They had a Yelp deal with $1 breakfast tacos during the week but it looks like they stopped that promotion. But they were friendly enough to honor my yelp check in deal. The breakfast tacos were huge and satisfying to the tummy, especially after a good morning bike ride. I do have to comment, I didn't much like the chorizo taco as the chorizo wasn't spicy enough and distributed evenly in the taco. But the potato and bacon tacos were great and went really well with their home made salsa, so much so that I practically drenched my taco's in it. I'd highly recommend going on a cool summer morning to really enjoy their patio area. They got a series of fountains in the area that provide great ambient noise to go along with your conversation. They have misting fans but I haven't been there when they are on. The place is actually a good meditation area for a nice cup of coffee and breakfast on a slow morning. Overall, the Kitchen is amazing, the food is plentiful and delicious, the variety is unique to the palate, the service is amazing, and the patio is a nice desert oasis! read more
