I love it here, this year got yo celebrate my bday with 27 friends and we had a blast! The food is great, great ambiance! This is a jewel in the middle of the construction of the West side! You must go and try out the chilaquiles, they are the bomb! read more

Food is good. Ingredients tasted fresh and the outside seating area is very beautiful. Unfortunately the hostess and wait staff struggled to meet our expectations. Although there is a waitlist, they are extremely unorganized and are not aware when some guests have been seated. The hostess doesn't seat you here either; they just point and tell you where to go sit. Once we were seated, after waiting 45 minutes, it took us another 5-7 minutes to be greeted by a waiter. Really hoped for more from this brunch spot. read more

The food, drinks and service were all amazing. I highly recommend what is in effect the French Dip sandwich. Can you say OMG to the confluence of flavors that come together to make this devine creation served to us by Robert Cevallos who made the dining experience complete for me and my partner. From A to Z with the manager Rene Contcercas checking in on our experience, the meal was complete. I recommend this restaurant!!! read more

Delicious food! Very bougie feeling for not a bad price!! Our waiter was very sweet and the french toast was too die for!! Highly recommend for a nice brunch! The restaurant itself was stunning and had a beautiful outdoor area clearly for a more night scene. If you are getting the french toast, you might want to share it ;) read more

The food is very good, but the wait was excessive. Lots of seating/ empty tables outside but not enough staff to cover them all. Music was a bit loud, could hardly have a conversation. Got very windy inside due to patio doors being open and customers standing at the front with door open. Food excellent, ambiance and wait are a low score. read more

Thanks Yelp for an amazing night. This is my first Yelp event and it is so cool that my fiancé and I attended. You get to socialize with people that shares the same passion for food and also you get to meet new friends :). This place is so beautiful, it's a nursery, an event center and a restaurant. The food is very good and it has influences from many places. Definitely a cools place to brunch. I look forward to be here during the summer I have been in this place before the Yelp event, and the food is so good. The bread that thy use for he subs is really amazing. I usually have regular 2 eggs breakfast and I'm never disappointed ... read more

Amazing restaurant, service and food was fantastic! Expect to wait to get a table but the wait is worth it! Their French toast is amazing and so are their burgers. I had their green chile burger and my husband had their Bourbon firecracker burger which were delicious. The combination was delicious. My favorite was the garlic aioli on the burgers, amazing! The exterior restaurant is very nice and relaxing. They have indoor and outdoor seating. read more

I was SO excited to try this resteraunt due to the reviews! We went this past Saturday for breakfast and tried the Challah bread french toast and turkey and green chili omelette and were sadly unimpressed. Food was barely warm and flavoring was not out of this world. Chantilly cream tasted good but was a bit stiff. Good coffee and I liked the atmosphere and service well enough to try this place again on lunch and dinner menu. read more

I've been to this place a couple of times now and it seems to be hit or miss with both service and food. Some days it's really good and other days like today it's a 40 minute wait once you've ordered. They also got my order wrong and when I politely let the waitress know she apologized said it was indeed wrong but that was it. So I guess it really is about taking a chance here. Frankly I would go across the street instead to Eat. I'm adding an additional comment in response to manager: copying and pasting the same generic response to your customers does not go a long way in making us feel like we were heard. read more

Can't believe this place isn't PACKED- even during the middle of the week. The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, and if you get a chance to sit on their patio you might as well be eating in the middle of a botanical garden. I ordered an egg white omelette with turkey and roasted veggies. The ingredients were fresh. I was served coffee immediately and breakfast within 5 minutes of ordering. Props to the chef, it was one of the best omelets I've ever had. Would recommend this place to everyone!! read more

150 Sunset - Egg white omelette with turkey and roasted veggies! Delish!! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Came here for brunch and it definitely lived up to the near 5 star rating. We were seated immediately on the outdoor patio and there was a nice breeze so it wasn't too hot. We started with a carafe of the Pimm's Punch, which was delicious and refreshing! The carafe is a great deal if you're planning to order more than 2 drinks. For our entrees, I ordered the English muffin sandwich with a side order of bacon on the recommendation from our waitress. The sandwich came out without eggs but the server noticed before I did and immediately took it back to fix it. The sandwich was corrected and came out as a really large (and delicious) serving. The side order of bacon was a great touch too. My friend ordered the house breakfast and said it was prepared perfectly. Both orders came out quickly after we ordered which is usually always nice for a brunch! Service was prompt and attentive, and I always appreciate a server who can help point out his or her favorite entrees. I'd highly recommend coming in for brunch and am looking forward to returning! read more

Great customer service, great environment, and atmosphere good location. The only thing I can recommend is that the chef adds a little bit more salt to their items. Nothing had salt and sugar on it. If it did, you couldn't taste it. Even my friend, who isn't into salt much, said the same thing. They have the flavoring correct but again, hit some salt and pepper. We ordered three dishes and all needed it. Do not be afraid to be a little heavier on the seasoning; it would make the menu pop. read more

Drove 40 minutes from the East side of El Paso to try "The Kitchen at 150 Sunset," and wasn't disappointed. At first you're not quite sure what you're getting into given it's co-located with a plant nursery and what looks like a special events hall. However, once inside the restaurant you're welcomed by an upscale, modern motif and pleasant staff. We (my better half and I) had the Croque Madame, breakfast tacos and French toast). The latter was the best we ever had -- it simply melted in your mouth. The other two were quite good as well. I was also pleased that they offered an assortment of hot green and black teas. We arrived just after 8 a.m. on a Sunday and within half an hour the place was filling up, so I suggest getting there early. While I haven't tried their lunch menu, I suspect the quality of items would mirror that of their breakfast lineup. This is a must stop if you're in town for more than a few days and are looking for a fabulous dining experience. read more

Found this place on Yelp and my husband and I were excited to go! I got the Greek Salad with Salmon, Brussel Sprouts and Mac & Cheese on the side. My husband got the Challah Bread French Toast with berries and Bacon on the side. I loved that they asked you your desired doneness for the Salmon. It was very moist and flavorful. I liked that they deconstructed the Greek salad. The veggies were so fresh and the red wine vinaigrette brought out the freshness of the veggies. The french toast was a generous serving of 2 large slices, freshly made whipped cream and berries. It was enough for two. The sprouts and mac were delicious! Our Waiter made great recommendations and brought the food out as soon as it was done! My mac and cheese was still bumbling when it hit the table! I highly recommend this place. I wish the weather were better so that we could've eaten outside. They have a very eclectic collection of furniture in a garden environment. It's just beautiful! read more

First to rate this place and I loved it up until they changed their menu and concept design of the restaurant. We used to go every other Sunday up until they changed it to their being waited on system. I think it worked better when you ordered up at the counter. The two times we went after they changed their set up our waiters forgot about us. We were seated and did not get greeted until 10 min after. We constantly had to ask other waiters for refills and to get our waiter or any condiments. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive. We did not get checked on. Took another 10-15 min to get our check. All in all we were there for almost 2 hours (seated!). The food wasn't even good anymore. On the second try I sent my soup back twice. I definitely do not recommend their tomato nor abondigas soup. I am not sure if the kitchen became overwhelmed with their new way of doing things but the food just wasn't as good as it used to. Under seasoned and greasy. Sucks this place changed. Maybe in the future we will give this a shot again. read more

First, I take no joy in rating a restaurant with only two stars, especially in our current environment. Two stars are given for their food. It was really good and was served well plated, just like the pictures show. The missing three stars are for their severely lacking service. I can't tell if this is normal or a fluke with our waiter. The first issue is that our waiter brought out my Americano and spilled it on the plate as he was sitting it down. Brushed it off with a joke "I almost made it over." This didn't bother me at all, the issue is that he never bothered to clean it up. I had to used the table clothes to clean it all up, which left me with nothing. The second issue is that we were never offered any water. I asked a different waiter for water and it took another five minutes just to get it. Then the water was never refilled throughout the meal. The third issue is that the waiter brought out the wrong food for my wife. After bringing out the right meal, we never saw our waiter again for most of the service. When we finally saw him, my wife asked for another coffee... Which never came. He was behind the bar area on his phone with other employees. Once we finally asked for the bill it too another 15 minutes to check out. All while others were waiting and being told there were 45+ minute waits. Again, I do want to reiterate the fact that the food was really good. The service unfortunately was bad enough that I doubt we will be coming back. While any of these issues usually wouldn't bother us, all of them at once was very frustrating. Especially when we saw the waiter on his phone, a lot. read more

The food was delicious!! The service was great. Will definitely come again, if I'm ever in El Paso again.

The best kept secret EVER!!! It is a little bit out of the way but TOTALLY worth the trip. The food was so full of flavor and fresh I felt for a moment that I wasn't in El Paso. Plus breakfast is served until 3pm! Yes please!!! The pancakes tasted like fluffy clouds of sweet cake and are now a new fav of mine. I am SO happy I found this place. The menu has a little bit of everything and I was presently pleased with everything I tried. The music is soft, the atmosphere is chill, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I love this place and it is now one of my new favorites! read more

I enjoyed my meal here, was a bit pricey and crowded as all can be on a Sunday at brunch. The service was slow for that reason but the food wasn't anything special. read more

The first time I went here was for brunch and they didn't disappoint. There was a limited selection of food however which is why I deducted one star. The second time I went here was for dinner. They downsized the dinner menu to a few dinner entrees, which made selecting quite difficult. The food tasted good, but I'd stick to joining them for brunch next time. Our server was very nice but forgetful here and there. We had to flag her down for water and another soda. read more

This place is a very cute brunch spot. I came here on a Saturday morning and it was moderately pact. It's in this hipster area where they also have a farmers market across the street which I recommend checking out. I had the Aloha pancakes (pineapple and strawberry toppings) which were delicious and a side of Brussels Sprouts. I honestly would give this place 4.5 stars because my only note would be to change the name Aloha Pancakes since Pineapples are not native to the Hawaiian Islands and it's exploiting the Hawaiian culture. Just call it tropical pancakes read more

The Kitchen at 150 Sunset Food: Their omelet had roasted turkey, green chile, white cheddar and roasted peppers topped with fresh avocado slices. It comes with an arugula salad topped with their lemon poppy dressing. The omelet was very flavorful and has a kick from the green chile. Their salad was basic but the dressing was pretty good. The other item was a simple short stack of pancakes, which were average. Nothing to be wowed about but still fairly good. We completely endorse the omelet!!!The French toast looked REALLY good, which we will try next time. ‍ Service: Our server was attentive and ensured we were doing well before and after the food (even though it got busy). The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out. Environment: Fairly welcoming. The decor was a bit Texas chic, if you ask me. The restaurant was perfectly cool in temperature, which makes it enjoyable to eat. Overall: out of 5. We recommend you try this place out. We will definitely be returning to try some different items. read more

I wanted to adore this place but I must say I was a little underwhelmed everything looks beautiful as far as the decor and the food presentation....however the food in my opinion was lacking in flavor. The challah French Toast was fit for Big Foot in size!! However I prefer my French Toast to be sweet without the need of syrup, and this toast didn't make the cut. Ok so let me give kudos to The pancakes!! They were pretty tasty I must say! Every single person who works here is so pleasant and friendly too! A very solid brunch option in El Paso. Mimosas are affordably priced, and the eggs benedict w/hashbrowns hit the spot. Only minor thing was that the English muffin was a lil on the tough side, but otherwise was delicious. Was a really nice outside patio area, as well as bustling indoor space. Attached to a garden nursery, which I didn't have time to check out, but weekend brunch here is one of the more solid options I've been able to check out in greater El Paso! read more

I would give this place six stars if I could! This was a great concept and very good food it is in a league of its own. I found a new place and my second home El Paso Texas! Service was top-notch, Beautiful event center beautiful garden area super good food good! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are humongous. I had eggs with homemade sausage for sausage was different but very good. We also have French toast and blueberry bacon pancakes all yummy read more

The kitchen at 150 Sunset never disappoints at pleasing my breakfast palette. The basic egg and sausage combo is good and not overly priced. Pancakes are pretty good, very sweet be warned. Would not recommend the Primavera Chicken; its an attempt at being too complex of a dish which just tastes bland and vinegary. Really a let down. On the flip side, the 150 Omelette is very good. It's full of flavor and has nice heat from the green chili's which is expertly paired with fresh sliced avocado. If you're looking for a chill brunch hangout, go here. It's good. read more

Wonderful gem in El Paso. The best customer service I have received in 3 years of living here. I will return.

I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago, and it was a great experience. Our waiter took excellent care of us, and brought us some cheesecake upon finding out we were celebrating a birthday and an engagement. The food and drinks were divine, and in fact we liked it so much, we went back the following week! There is also an even facility which is gorgeous. read more

I have only been here once and it was good. The service was good but we went in the morning for a business meeting so hardly any people. Their dishes are unique and a good portion. Croque madame. Challah French toast with chantilly cream and berry gastrique. Mimosas. Brunch fever has taken over El Paso in the last couple years, and the Kitchen at 150 Sunset was one of the pioneers. Nestled in the hills of the upper valley, the kitchen is one part of a multifaceted complex that includes an event center which has won multiple city awards, a plant nursery, and of course, the restaurant. They specialize in the brunch game, tailoring the entire experience to that end. Walking in, you pass by the plant nursery and walk through their extensive patio, which has multiple metal tables with umbrellas and a more covered area on the side, with a water feature and an area with actual grass for corn hole. On many mild El Paso mornings, the patio is a nice place to be; the streets next to the patio are small and sound is deadened by stone walls and fences that surround the patio. Dogs are allowed on the patio, which is a great plus! The metal and wood tables inside are nicely appointed with sturdy chairs. The Kitchen boasts to utilize local products wherever possible, from Challah bread sourced from local bakeries to chorizo. The freshness and quality is evident in their food: the Challah French toast with fresh berries, berry gastrique, and chantilly cream is absolutely exquisite. The dish comes with two thick thick slices of perfectly prepared French toast. In case you're in the mood for something more savory, the croque madame is a good choice; it's an open faced sandwich topped with ham, a fried egg, and gruyere cheese, along with a creamy peppery onion soubise. For the lunch part of brunch, they have a vast selection of salads, sandwiches, and burgers, along with a small selection of other dishes that include a beef tenderloin and a salmon fillet. They also have a small selection of wine and beer along with some signature house drinks. On weekends, the wait for brunch can be long at times, but I think it's well worth it. The overall experience at the Kitchen is hard to beat. And if you're in the mood for more, the owners of the Kitchen recently opened Park Tavern downtown, a casual more upscale dinner location. Of note, the owners were present while I was here, making sure the guests were having a good experience. read more

Great View, Good Food & Servers were very friendly. The only thing I would recommend is A greater selection of local draft beers and when I ordered a bottle of wine to go our server said that they didn't have that in stock and he wasn't sure when they would get any in. He did also mention to us that the wine I wanted to buy was a best seller, so I believe it's loss of production for the business. read more

Food was incredible, service and ambiance was great! I'd definitely suggest it!!! We'll make a point to stop in next time through!

Read the reviews and knew I had to give it a try. Stopped in just before noon. Order the tenderloin sandwich with garlic aioli. Incredible sandwich. I devoured it. Every bite was packed with flavor and spice. Beef cooked just right, and the sauce was perfectly spicy. Juicy but not so bad that the bread fell apart. Then dove into the Brussel sprouts. Cooked in a balsamic reduction with Parmesan cheese. (I'm not smart enough to know what reduction means, but it was amazing. I did have to ask the server what was in it). This took the meal over the top. I would go back just for the Brussel sprouts. I never thought I would hear myself say that, LOL. But they were that good. My coworker order the turkey with provolone and sweet potato fries. This was very good as well. It not a huge menu but there are several other items that I look forward to trying next time I am in town. read more
