Caesar salad dressing was delicious and the signature drink that tastes like pistachio was truly one you had to repeat. That being said I have to add that the service was subpar I recognize that the place was hopping when we arrived but we were constantly chasing our server for the salad dressing, another drink and our check. She never once refilled our water and it was other staff for the most part that helped us out. Even when the restaurant had significantly calmed down our service experience did not improve. This is a nice restaurant with inside and outside tables, sidewalk dining in the front and a patio in the back. The inside is cozy with some tables close together We asked for a table on the patio and were told that they had just seated a couple on the patio and wouldn't be able to seat anyone else for an interval of 5-10 minutes. Which I think is ridiculous. The service was slow not attentive We had lasagna and crab ravioli, you cannot tell the dishes apart because they are served the same way. The food was good, however, we did not like that. They set the hot dish right next to your salad greens so some of the greens got smashed and wilted under the hot dish. The bread is not served with butter., we chose not to ask for it because we didn't want to wait. There's also a two dollar charge added to your bill if you use a card to pay for your meal. The two dollar charge has been added to our bill, even though we intended to pay cash , we left cash on the table and walked out. The service was fair, although it did take some time to get the attention of our server, with a request, even though we ate early on a weekday, and the place wasn't busy. Stopped by this spot on our recent trip to Florence. And it was perfect!! The place had some wait time as it was packed on a weekend for lunch. They do not have a wait list etc., just gotta be around to be seated in the order you arrived. We got a table in about 15 minutes and ordered some Rosemary Bread and a veggie pizza. The bread came out warm and perfect with some butter on the side. It was a great way to start the meal. Crunchy on the side and soft with rosemary flavor, this is one of the finest breads I have had. The Greek Pizza was served hot and it was loaded with veggies and pesto. Artichokes, olives, peppers, onions and tomatoes to Anne a few. The pizza was well made and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great and the server was quick and polite and the place was clean and nice, how ever during our visit (the owner i believe) was working the bar near were we was seated and very loud talking we couldnt just ignor it to a customer( a relator from our area) for over 10 min down grading a woman they know from the cloths she wears, to the way the lady talks, she then referred to the lady as mis botox my child was so discussed by the conversation that was the last straw he immediately asked for a box after two bites and asked if we could leave. Wow! In one word, that sums up our experience. We were greeted by the hostess, whose name I did not get, who was super friendly and helpful. We sat outside and lived watching everyone and everything up close. The food was really (I mean, REALLY) good. But, my review is to get kudos to the service! It was a Friday evening during the summer, they were busy. Everyone worked as a team, that we could tell. I love seeing that. Our server, Richie (sorry if I didn't spell his name correctly), was epic. He was fun, helpful and prompt. As we were leaving, another patron gave him kudos on his service, I had to pipe in and agree! Great food and amazing service. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was a busy time but I still felt attended to and not rushed. My server helped me narrow my choice to the Parmesan Crusted Halibut with a lobster sauce. The halibut was perfect. The sauce was good, just a little spicy for my liking which I was not aware of when I ordered. The veggies as a side were simply done and delicious! This little Italian place is a hidden gem for small towns, and I highly recommend it if you're driving to the coast! I'm so glad I found it and stopped by. It has a relaxed wine-bar vibe with an Italian feel, which was perfect and refreshing after a long drive. They offer a great selection of wines, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful in choosing wines that paired well with my meal. The restaurant specializes in pastas and pizzas. Based on reviews, I originally planned to try their pizza, but my server convinced me to go with a pasta dish instead. Overall, the pasta was okay--good but not incredible. I have a feeling the pizza would have been better, but I'm still glad I gave the pasta a try, and it paired nicely with the wine. For me, atmosphere is just as important as food, if not more, because I want a place where I can relax, have a good time, and chat with the staff. This restaurant definitely delivers on that front. It's almost a five-star experience for me, but I'll give it a four because the pasta didn't quite wow me. One downside, especially for business travelers, is that they don't accept American Express, which was a significant inconvenience. I had to use my personal card, which added unnecessary stress. Stopped in for lunch around noon on a Tuesday. Not busy at all. Greeted, then seated upon entering. Very small inside. A few tables and bar seating are available. No parking lot, street parking only as it is located in Old Town. After perusing the menu, we decided on the seafood pasta ($27) and crab ravioli ($24). We were super excited for fresh seafood! The food was ok. Nothing exceptional. The seafood pasta was supposed to be in an alfredo sauce, but it was more like a broth; it was very runny. It wasn't cheesy or garlicky. Super disappointing. The rosemary bread they served with it was super hard, too, definitely not fresh daily. The fish tasted fresh, so that was a plus. My husband's crab ravioli was tasty, but again, super hard bread served with it. The salad was good. Overall, not wowed by our experience here. Their pizza is incredible!! They provided the pizza for my brother's wedding, and it was a hit! I went to pick up 8 pizzas and they even helped me take them outside and load them in the car. To start, Emily was our server. She was so good at her job. Efficient, professional, knowledgeable and has a great personality. She even dealt with the grievances from our neighbor table perfectly. I don't usually write reviews and frankly am not the biggest fan of yelp. However after decades in the restaurant industry I felt like I needed to point this experience out. The food was wonderful! Everything was so delicious! You can clearly taste the effort put into every bite. We had the seafood pasta, crab melt, garlic mashed potatoes and a meatball. The ambiance was also just right. We sat in the two top tucked into the corner which was cozy and comfortable. When we were sat the host(?) gave us tips on how to make the space more comfortable as we saw fit. I decided that while my wife and kids were staying at her mom's I would go out for a nice meal. After looking over the restaurants in Florence I decided to try this 1258 Rastabar. I called and politely asked for a reservation, but THEY DON'T TAKE RESERVATIONS. I decided that I would risk it and went anyway. I drove my 2004 Toyota Corolla around the block but couldn't find parking anywhere besides this spot with a cone on it. No cone is going to tell me what to do, so I ran it over and parked there. As I was walking to the door I tripped over a woman's dog and landed in its poopy (excuse my language). After cleaning myself off with a napkin I walked up to the front door of the establishment. As I got to the top of the MASSIVE flight of stairs I slipped on a banana peel and fell back down the stairs. At this point I was exhausted and just wanted my meal. The host was very nice and sat me in this lovely table right next to the kitchen and in the main walkway. It was pretty nice until this big, burly biker CROP-DUSTED ME! I would have confronted him, but my meal was ready and given to me. I ordered the 1285 Burger with no cheese, no sauce, no aioli, no lettuce, no onion, no tomato, no bun, no side, and a gluten free patty. It was DELICIOUS! I had it with a tea with extra lemon. After paying my bill I got crop-dusted AGAIN by the same biker. I went to confront him but slipped on a puddle and landed on my booty. I decided to leave. So we again sit at this table for another 15 mins nobody not one employee that came into that room gave us the time of day they walked in look at us smile and walk away like WTF.. You failed at every opportunity you where given we where more then patient, the problem with this place is the employees just flat out do not care it shows on their faces and nobody is happy just stressed out, and you rest on your past success. Why do I say that, because no one reply's to the negative reviews, so my wife,brother in law, and myself spent over and hour and 15 at your place got zero service, zero food but 100% ignored. We were seated in an adorable back courtyard which has a great ambiance. Our servers were very friendly and helpful in choosing the selection. Overall clean and well presenting. The Food I had calzone, about 16$ and large enough for a good sized portion. My partner would not have been able to finish it. I can say it was quite nice and the extra pesto was a pleasant surprise. The chicken sandwich and burgers were also very nice looking. The bad One thing that was a little irritating was the small charges for all sorts of things. This male waiter came across rude from the moment he approached our table. There were three of us including family from out of state. We placed our orders including an appetizer. Within moments of placing our order we realized that we failed to request no feta cheese and no onions on one of the salads. We flagged our waiter and asked he would the kitchen know of our request. WITHOUT hesitation, he responded that" the order has been placed and he can't change it " Kinda senseless because all he had to do was to the kitchen and ask the not to put feta cheese and onions on one salad! The orders may have been placed but they were not in the process of being made as we had not received our appetizer yet. Truly, truly disappointing! We will return but not sit in area. Service could be improved especially for take-out! We ordered two pizzas for our family. Some other members of the family were getting fish and chips so we ordered takeout so we could all eat different things together at the tables across the street. We put in the order at 12:15. The fish and chips were ready from the other restaurant at 12:30 so I went and asked how much longer on the pizza. They told us 25 minutes. Knowing that it would cause problems for my family if only half of our kids had food I asked to cancel the pizza order. A young man went and checked and said no we couldn't cancel because they already started. Other people seemed to be getting their food so we checked a couple more times but we didn't end up getting our food until 1:18. Over an hour after when we ordered it. The pizza was good but I would never order it again because of how long it took and how oblivious and unsympathetic they were to our situation. I don't k ow if they just have a horrible system for take out or they take over an hour to make a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza. Or maybe the kitchen was understaffed. We were greeted right away and waited 5 minutes for the window table. Cocktails were really good. Plenty of alcohol in those martinis! We ordered a half chicken artichoke and half the 1285 special, which was like a bbq chicken pizza. The crust was house made and perfect for me. I like a thinner crust with a bit of crunch. I was excited about trying this place. The entrance has a small podium with a sign that states "wait for hostess". We stood there for over 5 minutes and no one approached us or said someone will be right with you. My mother had a fall the day before and was feeling dizzy so we thought we'd sit at a nearby table until someone came up. A young girl with black hair approached us and very rudely said, did a hostess seat you? We said no..we hadn't seen one. She said well the sign states wait for hostess. As a party of 9 (2 adults and 7 children) we were excited at the prospect of no wait since it was an odd meal time and indeed, when we walked up there were MANY open tables. We waited patiently outside since the sign on the hostess table says to wait to be seated. When someone finally came over and I said we were a party of 9 (we were all standing there) the server replied with "we don't cater to large parties so we'd have to seat you at 2 tables and you'd have 2 servers". What?! I have never been told that. I understand needing to put tables together, or if they were busy maybe saying they'd have to split the table up. But from her tone of voice and message it was clear to us they just didn't want to serve us. We politely said no thank you and went elsewhere. So, I can't review the food, but I can review the ambiance, and that being said, the restaurant looked really nice! And it actually did look very family-friendly, definitely a restaurant and not bar atmosphete. The service, however, needs some definite work. At least where certain servers are concerned. read more

The employees have a sense of entitlement when it comes to payment. If i receive poor service, why would i tip? It's not that i can't tip. Have done concrete work for many years, where's my tip?
