Came here with a girlfriend to the tacos and tequila room of the establishment which is separate from the "saloon." We sat at the bar and Brett was our bartender. He was so nice a made it feel like we were friends. He was chill and the music playing was a perfect vibe. My friend and I even had a conversation about how he was a perfect fit for this type of place. When we left, I ended up leaving my phone on the bar and Brett rushed out to give it to me, so kind and helpful. In the main part of the saloon, they offered line dance lessons and if that's your thing, I'm sure it's worth a visit. We didn't participate, but it looked fun. We asked for spicy margaritas, but he said they were out of something to make that specific margarita. He quickly offered a solution and made us jalapeño margaritas instead and they were perfect. We did not intend to eat, but we're easily swayed after looking at the menu. We had the elote and the birra egg rolls, each were delicious. We left, but came back a few hours later after meeting up with friends and they wanted to play pool. We told them that they'd like this place, which they did. Meh... maybe becuse I was older than their oldest aged whiskey... they are really in business on Fridays and Saturdays to be Arthur Murray for country folk with free line dances... you'd think they'd have a live band to hopefully sell some "beverages" on the weekend where the pros could tryout what they learned in a Wednesday free dance lessons.. nope- not sure how they stay in business since most of the freebee line dancers weren't drinking much as far as I could tell.. the bright spot of night was we made a wrong turn leaving after a quick drink there and discovered Maddies Whiskey bar that had live music! read more

The food was great, but I'm going to review 127 backwards. We loved the birtia tacos and blt. However, the bartender/manager's attitude is horrible. I ordered drinks and attempted to leave my card for an open tab and you would've thought I had asked for heart surgery; he didn't want to be bothered. Then, when I came back for a second round I was ignored while waiting patiently. When I was finally acknowledged, I was ordered to the end of the bar for an unknown reason since no one was near me and the bar was less than half full. While there he handed me a menu rudely. I ordered food and prayed that I never see this guy again. During my wait he was also very rude to the staff he was training. He appears to be a miserable person, but he is probably just misunderstood. I pity him. read more

Service, we'll there wasn't any. We went in around 6 pm on Saturday and we were the only four people there. Initially the bar tender handed us menus and told us to grab a seat. That was all we got. A second bartender came in and another couple sat up to the bar. We waited and waited. Finally my husband walked up to the bar with his debit card. They didn't even acknowledge him! After about 5 or 6 minutes I walked up and asked if they could see him?! The bartender said, "I just got here. I'll be with you." He continued to ignore us. I am EMBARASSED that this is what they are calling a "Country Bar" in the state of Idaho as it is NOT even remotely Country!!! 127 should not be allowed to have "saloon" as part of their name. Went there on a Friday night and did not hear anything that came close to REAL Country Music, mostly hip-hop SHIT. Great add to a booming downtown Meridian, casual atmosphere, prompt service, great drink menu! It's a bit pricey but what isn't these days. The live music, bar games, unique concoctions, and diverse crowd allow you to indulge for a bit. Really happy with what they've done here and glad to have another option in downtown Meridian. read more

The Thursday night Taco Night was amazing! We chose birria tacos and they were delicious. They come with dipping sauce/ juice. Drink choice was Lalo tequila and corona beer. Service was attentive and friendly. We have no complaints and will definitely return with friends and family. read more

Thought it was a dive bar but was really surprised at what a fun place this was. Wish we would have gotten there sooner to get a place to park. But we're from out of town and wasn't quite sure. The decor is awesome, the DJ was spinning great songs and there was line dancing. Food is served, it looked good but we didn't get a chance to try. My only downfall.... Doors shut, food, sweaty dancing, the smell was not great. Pretty much an onion smell, but it was a little distracting. Other than that, we had a few beers and headed out. Looking forward to getting there early next time for a seat and some grub! read more

Food. Green bean appetizer was nothing like Grants - a restaurant down Cherry Lane. Beans were tough and chewy. We ordered the burger medium rare. Must be frozen beef cuz it was cold in the middle. Poorly done. Service was fine but the food is second rate. Draught beers were good! My hubby won't let me complain to the server about the food but I can honestly say I won't be back unless it is just for a drink. read more

Asked for ID and told it was to see if I was thrown out of another establishment...really? Really nice place with patio. We were looking forward to enjoying the chicken. Sat at the bar and got told by 2 different people they would be right with us. To be fair one was actually making drinks although not moving very fast. The gentleman walked by us 3-4 times and didn't even offer water. It was way more important for him to empty the dishwasher. Ordered some food for lunch and had a beer while I waited. It wasn't especially busy and my order still took 30 minutes. When it finally came my bill was $24 for a beer and a chicken sandwich. I ordered the spicy sauce on the side but they screwed up and put it on the sandwich. Sent it back and I will never go to this bar again. It's Meridian, people, not Seattle or Portland. Save the fancy "atmosphere" and learn how to serve good food in a timel manner. Or just serve drunk old lizard ladies on the patio.
