    Chicken bacon sandwich
    Richard P.

We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. This place is a little hard to find as it's not really visible from the road. I had a pint of the chocolate porter and I enjoyed it very much. I also ordered a chicken bacon sandwich which was a special for the day. It came with a bag of chips which is not my favorite when out to eat but the sandwich was good. The food offerings are somewhat Limited but I did like the beer.

Wow what a great place! Friendly service and welcoming, great beer, great food, great facility! Come onto a fun environment games, seating indoor outdoor, big bar, just a great time with family and friends hanging out. Cheers

I don't know why I don't come here more - probably because it's set back into an industrial park so I never think to come here! Despite their remote location, every time I come here it is PACKED with people. I even said to my friend when we pulled up "I'm surprised they're still in this location after all these years" but it seems to be working for them! The staff is all so friendly. When we arrived we asked if they had any of the murder mystery boxes still on hand that they had 2 summers ago as featured events. The owner went on a wild goose hunt looking for them for us but unfortunately couldn't find them. We really appreciated their efforts though. The beer itself is fantastic. I haven't gotten a beer I disliked here. The sours are a true highlight here. Im grateful to know 12 Gates is a reliable source for sours whenever I'm having a craving. They have some of my favorite sours in the city. The outside patio has turned into such an awesome area to relax and have some beers. The prices are great too (cheaper than some other breweries in the area). The food is always delicious as well but we didn't eat this time around. The only downsides here are the plane traffic (it can get a bit loud when you're trying to converse) and the bees! We always have issues with bees here. Thankfully they are good about replacing our beers that the bees fly into.

Have your punched card ready. Buy 9 pints of 12 Gates beer, get the 10th free.

This was an unexpected and spontaneous visit. While in the area, we noticed the brewery sign and decided to see what they offer. At first, we wanted to sit outside but being pleasantly surprised at how cozy and welcoming the 12 Gates bar was, we changed our minds. The round table in the corner was perfect for the two of us. I noticed there was a rather mature/older crowd and the place was quite busy. I don't go to bars often. Plus, I'm far from being a beer fanatic. Usually, choosing a craft beer can be painful for me. Without having much time, we grabbed a Coffee Porter, a Red Lion and Bavarian Pretzels. Overall, I really liked this place. Unfortunately, when it started to rain, the area quickly filled with people from the outside. We didn't plan to stay long. I just wanted to enjoy my company while sipping a beer, relaxing and having a bite to eat. Forget about it! Our server was at our table at least six times in total. I felt rushed. It made no sense to me. Did she want me to chug the beer, pay and leave? Wait, what's about pretzels?! At least they were warm, soft and comforting. The outside patio wasn't in order at the time. I just checked their Facebook page and it looks like everything is ready for the season right now. Perhaps I will check them again this summer for a live music event, if there is any good band playing.

They make a heck of a margarita for a brewery! My husband loved his beer. Hot pretzel sticks were very good. Pot roast on weck was delicious and the pork tacos were good too. Very nice staff. Smaller place with decent size bar and several tables.

It may take a bit to find it and realize your on the right road, but like a speak easy, it's a little bit of a guess as to if you're in the right place lol. Great friendly atmosphere with great bar food and delicious assortments of their beers and ale along with a full bar. Trivia night was a blast with a few of our friends and we will certainly be back!

Cuban Sandwich - This meal was deceptively filling (with a beer, of course)!

12 Gates is one of my favorite bars to go to. I love the atmosphere, the aesthetic, the music (hell yeah to classic rock!), and, of course, their beer! I've been here too many times to count and always partake in a beer (or two) but I'd not ventured into their food menu. Now, I really should've tried the food BEFORE the Coronavirus hit, but even if I had, I don't think my thoughts would've been much different. On a Wednesday night, I met a few family members here for a few drinks and dinner. I ended up ordering a beer, their new fruited sour - the Flo-Mingo, and their Cuban Sandwich from their "Re-Opening Food Menu". The sandwich itself was pretty good! I liked the ham and the pulled pork as it added a little "heft". The Swiss cheese was nice and there was plenty of mustard and pickles in each bite. The sourdough was perfectly toasted and added a slight crunch. I wish this came with French fries instead of a bag of Lay's but that's alright. If we had met for lunch and I ordered this, it would be awesome, but as a dinner, it's a little on the "light" side in terms of portions. But, that's not to say the sandwich, chips, and a beer were not filling! Also, the price for the sandwich was very fair! 12 Gates is a great local craft brewery and I have a great experience each time I come. I'm glad I tried the food finally, but I think I'll just stick with their beer (twist my arm... haha). As of 07/2020 though, if you're looking for a light, fruity, refreshing beer, then do yourself a favor and grab a Flo-Mingo off their draft menu!

Hidden in a business park and a place that you would need to look up if you're heading here the first time, is a good little brewery. Large draft beer selection and good menu with daily specials to add.

Was looking forward to coming here again but except for the great beer, found the food to be lacking. The nachos were good but could have used more melted cheese. 2 of us had the Cuban sandwich which was on the dry side, I had beef tacos that were sparse on meat but flavorful. They used to have quite a variety of flatbreads to try but now only have one. Might be okay for lunch.

We have been here a few times over the years and sadly it wasn't as good as the past . The service was great , friendly and fun! The nachos were great . One of us got the beef tacos they were good but3 of us got the cuban which were not so good. They were dry, skinpy on the meat and not much flavo

Great brewery. Was in the area stopped in picked up a 6 pack of west coast IPA and Buzz the tower. Both really good. Will be back for sure next time I'm in the Buffalo area

    New seltzers
    Shannon R.

We stopped by to try their new seltzer that I saw advertised on Facebook. They were pretty good and were 6% abv. One was blue raspberry and the other was a blueberry lemonade for $5.25 each. I liked the lemonade more because it wasn't as sweet. We also got a side of chips with cheese and salsa for $4. It's a nice little stop but in an awkward spot. You'll find it in the back if a business park on Earhart drive.

I usually get a bus service 4-5 times a season and have never had an issue like this. I booked a Sprinter from 716 Limousine for the 1/12 Bills game and was quoted with a base rate of $695 plus a 20% gratuity and 4% fuel surcharge (~$867 total), but after changing my time to pick up time and discussing with them, my new charge came out to $933.72. The extra $66 was what I had assumed was the charge with the added time, as I was told it would be "not that much". Also, this was on my invoice before the game and up to the afternoon of 1/13 as seen below. Without being informed, they had processed an extra $190 charge labeled "Additional Charges 1" bringing the grand total to $1130.72. I did not receive any documentation of this beforehand and when I called to discuss this, I was told it was for the additional time. I was also told that "their staff was well trained", so there is no way they could have been wrong about the pricing ahead of time, and that, "they were very transparent" despite not sending me updated price documentation. Out of the dozens and dozens of buses I've taken to Bills games, this was by far the least transparent, and the most expensive. Not once have I had the price change like this without advance notice and then have the company imply that I should've known. You don't have to look far to find better, cheaper options. Book with someone else. Also shoutout to our driver Dave. 5 Stars to him.
