Farmer John took the time to talk to me about his grass fed cows which takes extra care and time. Most recently we bought a prime rib for Christmas and our family thought it was outstanding. They also sell jams, coffee, and other goods with wholesome ingredients. Prices are also very reasonable especially for the quantity you are getting!

I can't understand why they have a photo of that reality TV star that used to fire people up on the wall, but that's neither here nor there. The staff did seem annoyed that we wanted to spend way too much money getting sandwiches and groceries with them, but at least they were efficient, and the selection is eclectic and fun. They've got fresh wild turkey eggs, a surprisingly great selection of cheese, all kinds of house-cured meats, as well as the standard array of deli meats with which they'll make you some pretty decent sandwiches. There's also all sorts of sauces, jams, pickled pineapple (!) local honey, beer, cider, some bizarrely priced minced dried onion...I had a blast poking around and overpaying for a random assortment of edible delights (although some were more delightful than others). I'd like to come back with more of a plan to try their poultry, or at least some fresh ground beef, the bacon, and more.

Everything in there was super fresh. I'm adding this place to Yelp because the only supermarket I know in the area closed and this is just the best place I've been to to get meat EVAR! So while I was looking wondering, "This is it!?!" the lady at the counter may have saw the confusion on my face and said that if there is something I'd like that I didn't see they could cut it fresh in the back out the freezer. I asked for a cut of ribeye and sure enough they came out with a cut to the thickness I requested. I'm glad she told me to ask for something. During my purchased I inquired about other cuts I'd be interested in as the holidays approach and sure enough they have it all in the freezer 100% fresh to be cut.
