Ask, ask, ask! The display of fresh meats at this place is dismal at best BUT it's not because they don't have anything, rather it's because they want to sell it to you absolutely FRESH! So while I was looking wondering, "This is it!?!" the lady at the counter may have saw the confusion on my face and said that if there is something I'd like that I didn't see they could cut it fresh in the back out the freezer. I asked for a cut of ribeye and sure enough they came out with a cut to the thickness I requested. I'm glad she told me to ask for something. During my purchased I inquired about other cuts I'd be interested in as the holidays approach and sure enough they have it all in the freezer 100% fresh to be cut. This makes complete sense to not have too much out because we all want the cuts as fresh as possible so if I have to ask for a certain cut every time I visit I think that's perfect because then I'll know it just came out the freezer as fresh as can be. read more

Unfortunately it's not the same owners anymore Sean and Olena. And not the same quality as before. Olena always went out of her way to have the best cuts of meats. Not the same anymore bought a few things and didn't care for it. Asked what happens to the previous owners and was told lies about them. Not very good to lie to customers who loved Sean and Olena they made you feel like family when you went there they always went out of their way to help you and get you anything you wanted right there and then. Not the same anymore. I hope they will open again elsewhere. As far as this place I won't be back. read more

Chicken cutlets- every one is slice thin, it's huge and they are the same size, plus they are tender and delicious. Flank steak that melts in your mouth! Speaking of melt in your mouth- you have to try the Prime Rib Roast. It has become our family staple holiday meat, super fresh and tender and never disappoints. Great wonderful family-owned business!! In 3 or so years, I have not gotten big box-stores steaks/chicken/ribs/pork. We know those 'meats' have been recycled and dates of expiration, changed. It's pricey but it's quality and they have amazing customer service. They will season a prime rib even when you forget to ask and tell you the proper way to cook a Brazilian steak. Also grab a sandwich they're really better than a lot of the delis in the area. read more

Today I purchased the A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye and all I can say is ...wow!! At first I was a little skeptical but after much research, I finally decided to give it a shot. It is quite pricey but worth every penny. I seared it on the grill and topped it off with a touch of salt. It was melt-in-your-mouth buttery perfection! I also purchased the American Wagyu and it was just as delicious. It had more of a meaty flavor and a chew but it was just as yummy! I will definitely be purchasing both meats again! A friend told us about this best kept secret. Spent $80 on strip steaks, pre cooked whole rack of ribs, pre cooked beef short ribs, burgers and chicken thighs. The steaks were 5 star restaurant quality. Grilled 3.5 minutes a side, cut like butter. Rack of ribs a teeny bit dry when reheated but the short ribs were not. Excellent service. I bought some fillet mignon here and got it nicely trimmed. They offered me the scraps for my dog, a really conscientious gesture. Also got a nice piece of pork belly so I could cook it in the smoker. The only down side was that they only had frozen ones available. read more
