Stopped for a quick lunch. it's Small Old World Deli place. They have fresh baked goods and a limited menu for eating Polish food. I got the stuffed cabbage with mashed potatoes. I wished I had more gravy sauce on the potatoes. What a great tasty meal for the price. They have a selection of kielbasa and home made delicacies to go. Visited this bakery with friends on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and the baked goods are made on premises. There were so many delicious desserts it was so hard to choose. The raspberry streusel was to die for. Service was prompt , it was also very clean and patrons walking in and out were very pleasant. We ran into this delightful little deli about a year ago on a road trip and, unfortunately, it was closed because it was a little too late.They have very interesting photographs in the windows of their different items and I've been thinking and dreaming of them for the last year. A new road trip brought us into this area again and we were lucky enough to visit Florida New York while the deli was open. I had the stuffed cabbage plate and my wife had some blintzes, and both of these items were terrific.The guy behind the counter was busy yelling Polish requests into the into the kitchen while an older woman was preparing the meals. Both of them were delightful and when the food came it was delicious. . We ended up getting some cheese bapka and a poppy seed roll that was just Chuck full of poppy. . It appears that all of their bakery is baked on the premises and there's so much of it that it that they do a very. Hearty business. If my travels take me into Florida New York again. I'm definitely stopping here for another meal. read more

So happy we found this cute little place! We ordered a Polish Plate, which had Keilbasa, Pierogies, Stuffed Cabbage and Bigos. Alot of food,but so worth not sharing with anyone! We also split a plate of delicious Potato Pancakes. I dont recall talking much, just eating and enjoying every single bite. The young man who took over order and the 2 women in back cooking all were pleasant to us and let us just stuff our faces without interruptions :) We ordered Blintzes w raspberry sauce for dessert. Yummy! Will definitely be back again-soon! We also left with some apple cake for tonight. Definitely worth the trip for authentic Polish food. read more

I drove passed this place for years before finally stopping in today. It doesn't look like much when you first walk in but when you get closer to the counter and see the homemade goodies, fresh homemade bread, and the menu you realize you're in a great spot for homemade Polish food. Does not disappoint. I got the Polish plate which consists of The most delicious stuffed cabbage I've ever had, the most delicious sauerkraut I have ever had (and I'm not even joking one bit), A couple of pierogies In onions and butter and some kielbasa (which I think was just slightly overcooked). Everything was delicious. I don't have a sweet tooth but I couldn't help myself and got a raspberry turnover which I have yet to eat and a bakery item that looks like cake rolled into some homemade whipped cream and fruit. Very tasty and light. I left also with a jar of fresh Polish mustard. I will try that tomorrow on a ham and swiss sandwich. Lastly I took home some pre-made homemade cheese and potato pierogies which I will make tomorrow. This bakery is great. My wife is polish so we go quite often. The pastries, pies, and cakes are fantastic. The owners make everything from scratch. You can order a cake for a special occasion and they'll accommodate any size party, big or small. Service is phenomenal and they are always so nice. Also try their breakfast sandwiches. My mother and I visited Florida Bakery & Deli before Thanksgiving to see what kind of desserts they had. It's a small bakery, but they have everything you need (cakes, cookies, Makowiec, strudel, muffins, etc...) Also a small refrigerator filled with homemade pierogies, potato salad, and other goodies. We purchased a chocolate babka and it was delicious! Everyone at dinner couldn't get enough! Small bakery and Polish deli. They serve hot Polish dishes. They also have a variety of meats and kielbasa and a small selection of canned/packaged goods and fresh pierogi's and Polish salads. My family and I have been here multiple times. The kielbasa is good, and the deli meats are pretty good as well. The baked goods are okay, I've tried a couple different kinds, so far the poppy seed strudel has been the best. My parents have gotten the cheese babka but didn't like it. I tend to stick to buying the smoked ham, bacon, kielbasa, etc. Service is casual and very friendly. Credit cards are accepted. read more

To get Polish food in this part of New York, apparently you just need to go to Florida. Of course that's probably a joke that's been told before, but it actually does kind of feel like an old Polish lady (and her daughter) are making you lunch when you sit down and order some perogis here. When I was there, the only other people seemed to be a set of locals after a baseball game, but it would not seem far fetched to think that every Polish person from miles around might come here on a regular basis to sit with a newspaper and gossip. However, with a captive audience seems to have come some pricey potato dumplings. Six perogis cost $5.00 and I was not very filled up by the smaller than average portion. Of course, being authentic, they were not going to give giant perogis. But I was still surprised. I did enjoy the potato and cheese choice but the plain potato perogi was slightly bland. I found myself satisfied but not wowed. I think if I were passing through this area again, I would stop in for their regular deli menu but their small selection of Polish offerings left much to be desired (for how prominently it is advertised). Especially since New York City with its amazing Eastern European eats is not really that far away. read more

Their polish meats are very good. I like Quaker Creek in Pine Island but they only have one kind of kielbasa, this place has 4 or 5, I recommend the double smoked. They have donuts on Fridays I think, the big ones with raspberry and plum fillings. They also sell salads and pirogi. The egg and vegetable salad is very good, the beet salad is pretty good too. The deserts look very good, but polish desserts tend to be dry. You are supposed to have tea or coffee with them, so keep that in mind. p.s. They sell smoked fish now. Love polish food? This is the place to come and eat. It is not fancy nor frilly but my rating is for the food and for the woman working in the "front" of the house yesterday. Most tender stuffed cabbage I've ever had and quite delicious. The pierogis may have been the best potato and cheese pierogis I've ever had. Their potato pancakes made the meal complete. Their bakery was outstanding as were their imported deli meats. Their kielbasa, brought up from Greenpoint (Brooklyn) (Bacik is the distributor) and we tasted their smoke "k" with and without garlic. Both were great. Bring your appetite and find really good food and fair prices. read more
