The market features live music by local musicians each week. It has a free weekly kids program and accepts SNAP. It is across the street from the Poughkeepsie Train Station and next door to the elevator to the Walkway Over the Hudson, which makes it very accessible by foot.

There are picnic tables in the market to hang out or eat too. Parking is tight and sparse - the Children's Museum allows free use of their lot, but parking at Waryas Park is also an option if you don't mind a short walk. And the train station is also within walking distance. There is a walkway along the river that connects both Waryas and Upper Landing Park, so it's a great place for a walk or spending time sitting on a bench near the river on a nice day. You can even take the elevator up to the Walkway over the Hudson. Please come here and support your local vendors and farmers!

They also have soup, pies, handmade soaps, honey, etc. If you can't make it inside, they do have a drive thru. There were a couple of small tables inside and outside.
