He offered practical solutions like chicken wire and expanding spray foam (typically used for insulation). He asked me if neighbors were setting out poison because he saw several dead critters in my crawl space. It turns out, a week later I did see a poison trap set up a few houses away from me. This year not sure what happened. The pesticide was mixed incorrectly and almost killed my trees. They put out new growth in parts of the tree but not in others. One tree was so stressed there are no apples and the other has just a handful. We used to get buckets. The lawn below the trees died as well. We're trying to reseed but it's going slowly. My concern is that the apples themselves on the one tree may be toxic since the spray killed the lawn. My golden delicious is not happy and I am hoping it doesn't die. I was given a refund but if my trees die... I would make sure when they come to spray that they have correctly mixed the pesticide.
