My nail tech was very kind and respectful - however I'm so disappointed with the outcome. Things were going great until the drying - I was told to wait 15 minutes to let it dry. The tech came at 15 minutes and smudged one nail entirely and the edges of another one. She apologized and quickly fixed it. I then waited another 10 minutes and was told I could go but to be careful with the retouch. Note that They have you pay halfway through. When returning to my car after a 5 minute walk 7/10 nails ended up getting smudged!!! I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to only have all my polish smudge, stain my blouse, and have to immediately remove the polish when getting home. Such a frustrating experience. read more

The good is they accept walk ins. Typical Vietnamese nail shop. Nice, clean, efficient. The bad is you can't add a tip to the card payment. I had a pedicure. Tech never introduced herself so I don't know her name. She was nice. She offered water but others had mimosas. Nails are fine. Massage was mediocre. Not bad in a pinch but I wouldn't make an effort for this place. I give it 2-3 stars. read more

Different prices every visit but the biggest thing is I brought my girlfriend in she spoke there language and the things they said about me and other customers was UNBELIEVABLE guys I wanted to get up and leave this place is horrible and some of the women were just so unkind but when I heard what they were saying about me and others was crazy just I still can't believe they even have customers please people if you can't understand them and they continue to keep talking In there language 8 times out of 10 it's not nice at all. Today my tech noticed that one of my nails grew in a little cricked and used acrylic powder to straighten the nail out! So amazing! Mia is the absolute best! Pays attention to small details and constantly asks if you're happy with her work. I've been seeing her for quite a while now and my acrylics are always perfect! I was nervous coming here since it's not rated that well but I dropped in while waiting for another appointment nearby. I had at least an hour to kill. I went in for a fill and it was done in 30 minutes. No extra manicure work was done other than a bunch of filing then painting. No cuticle treatment, cutting or massage. It's a nice and spacious place with an overwhelming selection of nail colors. If you are the indecisive type, come early to give yourself some time to go through and decide on a color. I think the nail tech that worked on me was named Francesca. She did not dilly dally with small talk and was very efficient and worked quickly. I did not check the prices for other services but a fill was $45, which is average. I'd drop in again for a different service. read more

Update: I'm still satisfied with my nails every time I leave 10 Nails Bar, though the fact that they act like they simply cannot take card payments in the 21st century is absolutely infuriating. They'll first say they take cash only (which is not true), then pressure customers to pay with cash in an awkward exchange, and if you don't have cash with you and plan to come back, they basically demand that you bring cash the next time. Most often, I do not have cash on me nor do I have time to run to my bank every time before I get my nails done. I used to give in and use their ATM knowing I'd be charged from both the nail salon and my bank, though once I was charged $7 DOLLARS just from my bank's end. I believe their charge is $1 or $2. In an attempt to justify why I didn't have cash at my next appointment, I told my nail technician (who I've been seeing for years) about the outrageous $9 extra charge, and he told me to stop and pull cash out next time. I went to get pedicures with two girlfriends and thought having my girls with me would give me courage to present a card and not feel guilty about it. How ridiculous is that - having anxiety and needing "encouragement" over a very normal card transaction?! It's so dumb, yet that's how awkward the 10 Nails workers make the payment process. Needless to say, they acted as if they couldn't take cards from all three of us girls, eventually took our cards, and my girls agreed that their behavior and refusal to accept payment in the way the customer prefers are valid reasons not to give them any more business. I was a customer of theirs for YEARS but will not be returning because of the unnecessary stress and guilt they've placed on me for simply preferring to pay (and tip) with a card. read more

I went to 10 Nails Bar for a manicure and pedicure and had the WORST experience I have ever had in a nail salon. The nail tech was using that sharp grater in a very fast flipping motion while talking to someone and looking in another direction. I ended up with cuts and scrapes on the top of two of my toes. A chunk was also taken out of one of the two toes. She bandaged the toes up as they were bleeding bad AND had to change one of the bandages before I left as it was bleeding into my shoe while she was doing my manicure. It is ridiculous to go into a nail salon to receive a "professional" pedicure at a high price and end up leaving with bandages on both of your feet and unable to wear shoes for 2 days. Had a dip manicure done, and $50 plus a tip (very demanding for a 20% tip) later, it did not even last 24 hours before it was chipping and peeling. 3 days later, I am back at another salon getting a whole new dip manicure to fix the monstrosity that they created. I've experienced great and meh services here. Definitely some technicians don't seem to care about quality. Quality is the most important thing to me. I don't need to feel pampered while I'm there, just give me fabulous looking nails. I prefer dip on my fingernails and it's hard to find someone that can apply dipping power thin and without lumps. I found that person at 10 Nails. Eling is truly the BEST I've found. She listens to what you want and delivers every time! She also gives a great pedicure.
