Jorg and Withold are outstanding. I have a BMW and though know my car inside and out. Prices are…read morevery competitive given cost of BMW OEM parts. I recently had problem passing emissions test. Found out it was due to recall, so took car to BMW of Dallas for recall repair. Service advisor called me to say recall done, but car had myriad of other problems. Brought to LLEA w/o appointment on a Wednesday afternoon. Jorge said to bring it in following Monday. I decided to let another well known non-dealer shop look at car; they gave me $6000 estimate!! When I brought car to LLEA, I gave them my hand-written list of the issues that dealer mentioned as well as additional issues other Indy shop gave me. Told me not to worry, and they'd call me the next day. When they called, Withold went thru each 'problem', explained exactly what the issue was, and gave me recommendation about what to do. Long story short -- of the 6 issues, one LLEA said was not an issue, another ($1200 est) he said is so common he sees it on half the cars that come to shop; said no need to fix it and just to watch fluid level. Did say other 4 issues needed attention. But LLEA quote was 1/2 of other Indy shop and probably 70% lower than dealer. They needed a few days to do repairs, but work was first rate. I've used them exclusively for non-warranty/recall work since 2007 and believe that they are: extremely honest, knowledgeable, highest levels of integrity. Work is performs to BMW specs, won't use cheap parts, and have never had to go back for same issue. Again, with a 12 year old BMW, repairs can get pricey especially given cost of BMW parts. But I am 100% confident that they will do work that is needed for a fair price and complete work to highest standards. They perform "check engine" light diagnosis for free and on the spot (unless extremely busy). I am very picky and have been burned by dealer and indy mechanics in past. LLEA earned my full trust many years ago. Very honest, high integrity and excellent quality of work -- these are words I'd use to describe LLEA. One. Ore item about 'big' repair job -- they found an issue which both other shops missed. It wasn't expensive, but it could have become major safety issue. Found it b/c they are thorough. Labor rate much less than dealer, and identical parts costs 50% or more less than dealer.

Javier did a diagnostics check and test drove my car briefly (due to the rain) and told me there was nothing showing wrong with the vehicle. He suggested to bring it back another time when the weather conditions are better for a more thorough check. As a female, this is the very first time EVER that I have gone to a car shop where they haven't tried to upsell me or come up with any defects just to get money out of me. I will recommend this place to anyone I know!

After dropping my car off, they arranged for my transportation home which was great and stayed in constant communication throughout the day. Due to the friendly and quick service, I…read moredecided to go back on October 14, 2020 to get my car looked at due to my check engine light being on. After the technician discussed the issue with me - plus others things, of course, including check engine light, coolant outlet flange on cylinder head and a climate control unit replacement) - I agreed to the service recommendations because I trusted them based on my first 2018 visit. The October 2020 visit cost me $2711.38. Exactly 2 weeks later, I returned to the shop because my light was STILL on, my car was shaking (it cut off on me while driving multiple times), and my vents were only blowing cold air when I needed heat. This visit then costs me $5748.46 (a diverter valve was replaced, a coolant hose was replaced, a heat exchanger was replaced, front struts and upper mounts were replaced, and a right front bearing carrier was replaced). GUESS WHAT? I STILL had no heat. My car STILL had a shake and my check engine light was STILL on. I returned AGAIN a few days later and the technician gave me a rental while they tried to "figure" things out. They pretty much told me that at this point they were doing me a favor by looking things over for free since I had already paid them over $8,000. EXCUSE ME??? After one of their drivers returned my car to me and picked up the rental I was driving, the manager called to tell me they had taken care of the everything... again. But guess what... MY ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON. I decided to stop dealing with them and went directly to an Audi Dealership for a complimentary inspection. They ended up listing SAME ISSUES (at a cost of $3,300) that were supposed to be fixed by Autoscope. Pissed was an understatement. When I informed Autoscope of this and showed them the paperwork from the Audi dealership, they confirmed that they had fixed what Audi was listing as not fixed. Autoscope offered to take my car AGAIN, but I refused. I wanted my money back for services NEVER FIXED. I complained to BBB but nothing ever happened. I lost $8,000 and HIGHLY recommend NOT to use or trust this company. Don't be fooled by their kindness.

I took my car to get the engine light and battery fixed. They charged me almost $300 ("I wish I could get them back"). The lights went out and I got home when I turned it back on the lights came back on, so I assume they just took them out. Some time later I went back to have it checked again, they told me there were new problems and that the parts could not be found at Auto Zone. They told me the part was worth 1,700 dollars. Thank God I already fixed my car and the part only cost me 25 dollars at a junkyard,It is not new, but I don't think the one they were going to give me at that place was. In conclusion, I think they wanted to scam me and it is not fair that they do that to people just because we don't know.
