Food was fresh, the service was quick but the lighting was very dim. They did have limited options but the food was very good.

Lunch buffet on Friday was $11.99. The selection was large including salad, deuit and dessert. We sampled several dishes , including gen tso chicken, lo mein , soup, fried shrimp and wings. The food was hot and there was someone posted by the buffet watching and refilling. The waitress checked on us several times and refilled drinks and cleared plates. Sushi was included in buffet price. We both noticed the egg rolls had an "old" or " stale" taste, probably freezer burnt. This was a good lunch spot read more

The buffet was good but not as good as I remembered in the past. I mostly ate General Tso chicken and rice. My first egg roll tasted good but the second one seemed old. Still enjoyed meal. read more

My mom and I don't go to Lexington very often, well we just wanted to try something different and did we ever regret that. The food was absolutely disgusting, I wouldn't even feed the nastiness to my dog. The fried chicken was literally yellow in color, the frog legs where brown/green there's so much more I could list but I would have a book published by then. Not only that but from the time we walked into the front door to the time we got done eating what we could actually eat we got starred at like we were some kind of criminals. The owner or whoever she was kept rolling her eyes and literally watched every single move we made, not to mention the hibachi cook wasn't wearing any gloves, and was handling the sushi with his bare hands. I would not recommend this nasty restaurant to anyone. Also the health department was called, just waiting for a callback. read more

The food was kinda hard.. Place was pretty clean i'll give them that but not much food options. The price was also kinda high for what it is... Service was good besides the fact they didn't have fountain drinks read more

We always go here as a family on Christmas day. The Christmas day Chinese buffet is something that all Americans have to experience. I haven't been here on normal days, so my review is based on the holiday buffet. They have so many dishes, almost any Chinese dish you can think of. From Sushi to Beijing chicken, they had everything. For this holiday, they had all you can eat Crab legs along with the regular buffet. For $18/person which was the price of the buffet, this is a steal. Lots of desserts and fruits to pick from as well! read more

This is a great place to go after church on Sunday. The food is always hot and there is a good selection. It's a very clean environment. And the wait staff are exceptionally nice! read more

I wish i could put 0 stars. Because thats how disappointing this place was. I don't know what happened behind the scenes but the whole place is too different. The food options were limited, the taste is not good, and they take too long putting fresh food. Its also expensive af on the weekends. The ambience was fine... they changed the decorations to what is clearly Ai images, disappointing. read more

It's exactly what you expect from a Chinese buffet. Staff is friendly, food is refreshed regularly, good variety of items, and tastes good.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! GAVE ME FOOD POSIONING....the wait staff kept peeking over the wall and asked us over and over how many people were in our party (2 adults, 5 children and 2 BABIES) ...the food was absolutely DISGUSTING, and the harassment was over the top. We literally did not eat anything and they knew it. When I asked for the check, they decided to charge me for 4 adults and 5 children (the babies did not eat from the buffet bc they cannot even eat regular food yet) which totaled almost $160 somehow!! I expressed to the woman at the front that there were only two adults and she insisted that my 10- and 12-year-olds were in fact adults. I would NEVER feed this food to my DOG!!! The next morning, I was DEATHLY ill, and I know for a fact it was the food bc I could not even eat anything else, and I only ate a few pieces of chicken (the sweet and sour chicken) .... the crab legs were full of water (my niece the other adult tried them). I got to the point where I just gave into the kids wanting ice cream bc the rest of the food was so nasty but guess what, they charge extra for the ice cream and cookies. I worked in the restaurant industry for half of my adult life, so bashing the service industry is not something I do often, but for the sake of people's health and well-being, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I hate even giving this place a single one star, but I felt absolutely compelled to share this with people. No one was wearing gloves, and the sushi chef was making the sushi and hibachi with his bare hands!!! I have also passed this along to the health department. read more

Friendly staff, clean facility, music and environment are nice. Food is good with plenty of variety at a reasonable price.

We have been to this restaurant many times and liked it until now. The current management has no desire to treat customers fairly, including senior Citizens. We will not return and I recommend that others find a better place. read more

Edit: I still really enjoy stopping by every now and again. I decided to edit this review to let everyone know that just because this is a buffet you still NEED to tip! Just because this is a Chinese buffet doesn't mean us Americans should take advantage of these servers. They rely on these tips and it's just customary. All these reviewers complaining about being stared down or asked for a tip, you all should be mindful that the server cleans up after YOU and brings your drinks. At the very least tip 15%. If I were a server there I would be upset too! If you don't have money to tip then get to go!! read more

About a 30 second drive from my house, 1 China Buffet has been a staple for me for years, when I want a very quick meal and service that enables me get in and out quickly. They have a huge selection of food, mainly Chinese of course, but a lot of non-Chinese stuff such as quesadillas, roast pork, salad bar, etc. And beyond the buffet, they have a choose your own stir fry option where you pick the ingredients and sauces and a stir fry guy cooks it up quickly for you. read more

Great price. Friendly service & talk about fresh food. I'm shocked how good this small place was. The food was well prepared and very tasty.

We went there and the buffet still had the lunch menu on the buffet. It was dry and not even warm. We took some anyway. While we were eating they changed the buffet over to dinner foods. We did not realize the difference so we did not take foods listed as dinner price. When I received my check they insisted on charging me the higher rate for dinner. I explained our situation. Had we known we were going to be charged more we would have eaten things such as crab legs etc. The waitress began cursing at me because I refused to leave a tip. Very unprofessional behavior if you ask me. read more

Best Chinese buffet I have ever been to. Fresh food, very friendly people and great atmosphere

The vegetable fried rice was pretty good, big pieces of broccoli and mushrooms. Too many mushrooms for my liking. The sweet and sour chicken pieces were huge, and the inside was kind of doughy and The texture felt slimy to me. I prefer smaller pieces that are crunchier all the way through. read more

I use to love to eat here. Tried it a few months ago and was not pleased, tried it again today, still not pleased. Food isn't as good as in the past, no taste. My favorite was the mongolian grill/hibachi, it was always delish, not anymore. I'm done, I don't see ever coming back here. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!, there was some like a little think in the food(the lettuce). and the sushi was not chuable I choked on it.

The "waitress" didn't do anything for us except bring water while weren't there 1 time. When we left she said "you're not tipping me"? I told her you were never at our table or added us if you could get us anything. She gave a loud huff and said something in Chinese to another employee and they gave us NASTY looks and stared us down all the way to the car! Terrible customer service!! How rude!! read more

What a crappy dinner. Half the food is cold and the other half is stale. Disappointing

The food is good but the service from the waitress is bad they start to beg or force you to Tip them then get mad at you for not tipping and tell you they will take 15% from your card. We have the right as people to tip or not;some people have a budget to spend we don't need a restaurant stealing 15% from our credit card. read more

This Chinese buffet has some good selections, including fried rice, egg rolls, chicken and broccoli, and my favorite, the crab. However, there are times when the food on the buffet is better than others (if you want hot, fresh food, go during typical meal times). Sometimes, you have to wait to get someone's attention for a refill, or your check. So, sometimes this is a great choice, and at other times, 1 China Buffet could do better. read more

Ah, the high risk, high reward pleasures of a Chinese buffet in America. This particular buffet is a little better than its peers. And if the place is busy and the food is being turned over at a nice clip, you're going to have a good gorge. But if you make the mistake of coming during off hours, you are likely to encounter some food that's been sitting too long. And that's not very appetizing. So if you want to binge eat during peak meal times, by all means, hit this place. Otherwise, stay away. read more

I went here one night with my son and a friend to try for the first time. I was excited because it's been a long time since I've been to a Chinese buffet. Firstly, if you are going with children and have in mind that they may have one or two American dishes your kid might eat, they don't. The one and only dish that wasn't Chinese was a steak quesadilla. My son didn't like it because Of the chunks of tomatoes in it. Moving on from the lack of kid friendly food, the Chinese food wasn't too bad. There are a LOT of types of chicken. One or two types of rice. Some sushi and nigiri. There were no crab legs at all. The crab Rangoon's were mostly cream cheese, and not very satisfying. If you're looking to fill up on Chinese food without a particularly high caliber, it's a good place to go and eat and hang out with friends. However if you are looking for high quality food or kid friendly place, probably not the best choice. read more

Covid vigilant. Buffet well stocked and fresh. Entrees were not sugary, a real plus. Attentive service. Will dine here again for sure.

People are really hating on this place for being what it's supposed to be. Buffet food isn't hot or fresh. It's a half decent meal for a below average price. Environment doesn't matter. Wanna eat good food, go to Tony's or Dudley's, wanna eat a lot of food quick, go here, don't have coke products though read more

This restaurant just repeatedly has employee issues. I do like the food but WOW the service is often terrible. Here we are in a pandemic and they are supposed to be spacing people out. They have a huge dining area. With only 2 other groups of 2 besides me and my dining partner, the waitress sat a group of 6 DIRECTLY behind me. I moved immediately because there was zero reason for it. After which the waitress disappeared to the drink station with her cell phone. She never once checked on us. Go at your own risk I guess. read more
