My mom and I don't go to Lexington very often, well we just wanted to try something different and did we ever regret that. The food was absolutely disgusting, I wouldn't even feed the nastiness to my dog. The fried chicken was literally yellow in color, the frog legs where brown/green there's so much more I could list but I would have a book published by then. Not only that but from the time we walked into the front door to the time we got done eating what we could actually eat we got starred at like we were some kind of criminals. The owner or whoever she was kept rolling her eyes and literally watched every single move we made, not to mention the hibachi cook wasn't wearing any gloves, and was handling the sushi with his bare hands. We always go here as a family on Christmas day. The Christmas day Chinese buffet is something that all Americans have to experience. I haven't been here on normal days, so my review is based on the holiday buffet. They have so many dishes, almost any Chinese dish you can think of. From Sushi to Beijing chicken, they had everything. For this holiday, they had all you can eat Crab legs along with the regular buffet. I got to the point where I just gave into the kids wanting ice cream bc the rest of the food was so nasty but guess what, they charge extra for the ice cream and cookies. I worked in the restaurant industry for half of my adult life, so bashing the service industry is not something I do often, but for the sake of people's health and well-being, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Just because this is a Chinese buffet doesn't mean us Americans should take advantage of these servers. They rely on these tips and it's just customary. All these reviewers complaining about being stared down or asked for a tip, you all should be mindful that the server cleans up after YOU and brings your drinks. At the very least tip 15%. We went there and the buffet still had the lunch menu on the buffet. It was dry and not even warm. We took some anyway. While we were eating they changed the buffet over to dinner foods.
