This business is horrible not sure if it's a real florists or some coverup for something else. I had surgery and my mom sent me what she thought was a cute basket floral arrangement. Once the flowers arrived , they look nothing like the photo. My mom complained, and then I received a phone call from the florist in Allen that they would redo the arrangement and bring it to me the next day. The arrangement brought to me the next day was even worse. It was smaller. It had just a few flowers, missing lots of greenery missing the wicker basket and has some random pink bow. I immediately called my mom and she said this is even worse, which I agree if one 800 flowers in Allen Texas cannot reproduce what is on their website. Who wants to pay for something they didn't order. They should close down. Once the lady called from the florists she should have mentioned she didn't know how to do arrangements and that would Explain it. Kroger or Tom Thumb arrangements are better. I rate this experience as a ZERO. For the third attempt. This floral shop still could not delivery a quality floral arrangement. They did not listen to the customer. The original arrangement was just plants missing flowers. All they had to do was replicate and add flowers, instead the arrangements kept getting worse and smaller. I didn't think you need to have degree to do floral arrangement, I don't think you even need to read or speak English. Just look at the photo. If this shop needs help, I will be more than happy to come and work for FREE. It's not that hard, I buy flowers from Kroger and Tom Thumb all the time and make people arrangement for little quick thank you gifts, so if you need a volunteer let me know. I picked an arrangement from the Internet when I got the order confirmation the item I ordered was completely different from the one they were sending, but because I needed it delivered that day I let it go on Friday afternoon. A zero would be better suited. My two friends send me a $275 bouquet of flowers for my Birthday through Teleflor. They outsourced the order to 1800Flowers- Allen. The bouquet arrived and looked beautiful but lasted 1-day! They didn't put water in the vase. The flowers completely died in 24 hours which saddened me. I called and let the manager know and she said she would send another bouquet out and apologized. I waited the day it was supposed to arrive and never did, I waited the next day and nothing, I waited one more day and when it didn't arrive I called to speak to Angela (I believe) the manager and she told me that the owner said they would not send out a new bouquet because of the price point. WHAT? You sent flowers to die and don't fix the issue??? Apparently GLEN is the the owner who denied the exchange and never had the decency to call me and tell me anything. They were hoping I would just go away. I ended up calling my friend who ordered the flowers and she called Teleflor and they were appalled and said they would remove them from their vendor list. Then they had a new bouquet sent to me from MCSHAN'S. OMG! when I tell you how breathtaking they were and they last a week and a half looking just as beautiful as when they arrived. This review is about the local florist, not about 1-800 flowers. The bouquet was beautiful, but absolutely no excuse for not also including the balloon that was ordered, and completely unacceptable that the arrangement arrived FOUR DAYS LATE. I was sitting by the front window and saw the delivery person coming up the walk. I opened the front door, she looked at me, set the flowers down on the welcome mat, and walked away without saying a word. Received half dead flowers, these are not even 24 hours old (see photo) and half the roses are dead and wilted, not sure how a professional florist would even deliver these, very disappointed. The lilies are great but the roses are so bad... ever stem has wilted brown color. I wouldn't even buy these in a grocery store at full price. I called customer service and they will resend a new bouquet but these were ordered by my husband to be delivered on our anniversary... not only was I sad but he was upset too. Since customer service is replacing them, I gave 2 stars, but honestly it's not that hard to get it right the first time. Hoping the redelivery will be better. Update: the re-delivery bouquet is a joke (see photo), I can buy this at the local super market for $25: 8 small roses (with outer Petals still attached), one lilly stem, some greenery, 3 stems of maroon filler flower, and some white mums) DON'T order, huge $60 disappointment for my husband and I! read more

Should have read the reviews on this place first, wow, incredibly disappointed. While initially my experience with the customer service was great with Andrea, it unfortunately did not end the same. I called to order with this establishment directly so I could pick the flowers up prior to a lunch engagement with the recipient of the bouquet. I was in a hurry but the flowers were NOTHING LIKE I WHAT I ORDERED! I got cheap fluff of flowers that I unfortunately paid $70 for. I don't mind spending money but I decided to not take the online discount promotion so I could order directly with this location. I was in such a rush I didn't have much time to compare the flowers. After returning home from driving most the day I decided to compare the photos. My goodness what a difference. The flowers thrown in my bouquet were mostly pink, not even lavender. I asked if she could throw in a hydrangea to make it look some what perked up. What I ended up with was a $30 cheap looking sad bouquet. I was better off picking up something from Krogers floral section. When I called she did offer a refund but I live in Caddo Mills, the recipient lives in Wylie, and the shop is in Allen. Close to an hour drive. The store closes at 6, it was already almost 5. I am just very upset with the entire ordeal. She ended our conversation by telling me I never have to shop with them again, then hung up on me....... Being cheated out of what you think will be a beautiful and elegant surprise for someone, then getting something cheap and entirely different in its place is incredibly disheartening. read more

I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers a few days ago and the note said the flowers were from "God." An extremely judgmental/corrective scripture followed (James 4:7-10). To say the least, I was bothered. I called this location of 1-800-Flowers, who was the brand on the note. The lady who answered was very kind, but she said she didn't know who ordered the flowers, as the order was actually placed with FTD, and I needed to call them instead. When I called FTD, it was obvious I was calling another country. The woman on the other end of the line couldn't understand me, and I couldn't understand her. Background noise, delay, language barrier... It was a very frustrating experience. I explained that the message was creepy, and I needed to know who sent the flowers. I was told that due to their privacy policy, they could not reveal the sender. I tried to escalate to management, but no luck. After three calls, an American, English-speaking woman picked up. Finally! When I calmly explained the situation, she actually began raising her voice at me, ranting that "It's a BIBLE VERSE!" and therefore not something I should be upset about. I again explained that the context of the scripture is actually very insulting, and it was anonymously from "God." Honestly, who sends flowers anonymously anyway (particularly with a passive-aggressive message from "God") unless you are a creeper, a stalker, a bully, or just plain crazy? Bottom line is that orders should not be able to be sent anonymously to protect recipients from senders in these categories. A one-sided privacy policy leaves the recipient in a vulnerable position without an advocate. Because of this antiquated and unethical policy, I feel harassed without much recourse. I would've much rather not have received the arrangement at all due to the insulting and ominous note that accompanied it, and now I have no way of knowing who did this. I'm very disappointed in 1-800-Flowers, who happily accepts anonymous orders directly--as well as from intermediaries like FTD like in this case--and only enabled and contributed to the fiasco outlined above. Shame on you both! For all these reasons, avoid FTD and 1-800-Flowers and use a local shop instead. These corporations only seem to follow the money and don't care about the end user. If all florists accept anonymous senders, that is a universal policy that should definitely be changed across the board. But giants like FTD and 1-800-Flowers should set an ethical example and a higher industry standard for the little guys. read more

I wish I could recommend 1-800-FLOWERS, but unfortunately, I can't. Ordered some flowers for a good friend expecting for the same-day delivery promise to hold true and... no. I'm not sure who's running the show here but there is a screw or two loose in the operation. I called customer service and got a new bouquet delivered the next day (no longer timely or relevant to the flower-worthy occasion) and not one, but two (...?) bouquets show up at her door. Worst part - neither of them came with the card I wrote attached! This was a huge disappointment as the card was easily the most hilarious part of the gift. The flowers look kind of tacky in my opinion. I will note that the customer service representative who I spoke to, Alan, was an absolute pleasure. He should be the CEO probably. read more

I am absolutely disappointed in the flowers that were delivered to my mother in law for her birthday. I order a premium arrangement and what was delivered was not what I ordered. I proceeded to call 1800 flowers to have them issue a re send of the arrangement to look like the one I picked out on their website. They contacted the florist and said it would be delivered today no problem......... then I find out the florist sends someone from the office to my mother in laws house to try to figure out why she did not like the arrangement. #1 it was a gift, I was the one who called 1800 to file the complaint so I am very upset that they showed up at her house to discuss the situation. It has her birthday and she shouldn't have to deal with such poor customer service. All I wanted was the arrangement to look like the picture and be worth the money I spent. This arrangement is not a 150$ piece. It is more like a 50-60$ arrangement. I am embarrassed that they went to her house over flowers!! I will never order again from here or 1800 flowers and I will let everyone I know in the area how rude the manager was to my mother in law and the girl that he had sent to talk to her. read more
