Quality/Quantity - What a nice field trip from Nice France, pun intended.
Still part of the French Riviera.
We finished our Nice trip early so decided to visit the neighboring cities; see ALL my other reviews.
Top attractions in Eze, all of which we did:
Jardin Exotique d'Èze: A cliffside botanical garden filled with cacti and succulents that offers panoramic views of the coast.
Nietzsche Path (Nietzsche-Weg): A steep, rugged hiking trail leading down from the medieval village to Èze-sur-Mer on the coast, named after the philosopher who walked it.
Èze Village: The historic hilltop center featuring stone houses, art galleries, and craft shops.
Fragonard Perfume Factory: A local perfumery offering free guided tours and demonstrations.
Ambiance - Okay. The bus schedules are unreliable! And there are not enough...
So 100 people cramming into a bus was NOT ideal. So we decided to do the Nietzsche Path, see above. No shade in this HOT weather and it was ALL uphill. I definitely earned my wine when I got to the top!
But it was still worth it when we got to the historic village on top. So much to do and see. Plus, there was at least 2 Michelin restaurants.
9.47 square km.
2100+ population (2023). Mostly tourists here, lol.
Service - Self service.
Price - Depends on what you do, eat, or drink.
