If you're there, give it a try. For visitors visiting Wan Chai and missing a bit of home (if you're American), this is right across the street from the wan chai station. You won't miss the sign! On this particular occasion I went with the Matcha Red Bean Layer Cake and Soy Milk Matcha. There's a deal when you order a large drink plus a cake that the layer cake drops from $29 to $18. I like that I was able to pay with my Octopus (transportation card, like the Presto in the GTA) so that I didn't have to look for the correct amount of change. The layer cake tasted of match but it was a very subtle flavour. The red beans were a nice addition. The soy milk matcha had a heavier flavour of matcha and was quite smooth. When I sat down I noticed that there's wireless chargers on the tops of the high top tables as well as USB ports on the side. I wasn't able to connect to WiFi this time but I appreciate being able to charge my phone after taking lots of photos during the day.
