This place has street food of most kind at central. It has a good location for a restaurant but not that good for a street food booth. People rarely would walk through here unless they are here in search for a seat in restaurant. No wonder I have never seen this place busy.
Another reason is that the food are expensive, I think around 50-100% more expensive than street food else where. However, you can be sure for a more guaranteed quality, a lot cleaner and less busy.
I have ordered siu mai, fish balls and chicken leg here. They taste fair but not extraordinary. So, the price tag is mainly for the location and the hygiene and healthiness. The service is not rushed too. But if you are in rush, you might want to skip food that they cook at order. I have waited a good 5-10 mins for the chicken leg to be fried. Simply this place lack the customer flow to precook some food. However, you can be sure that food are cooked fresh and hot.
If you like to eat street food but been avoiding dirty food booth; or if you are traveling Hong Kong and having difficulty ordering this type of food on the street, as long as the price is right for you, you can enjoy street food with a better service experience. read more
