As we wandered through the mall, we noticed it housed a variety of restaurants and eateries. That's when we discovered Paradise Dynasty, a restaurant on the 2nd floor (3rd floor by U.S. standards) specializing in Shanghainese cuisine. Intrigued by all the pictures on their display, we returned that evening with our daughter, and it was love at first bite. We ended up dining there a total of four times in the nine days thereafter! The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and filled with small tables that created a cozy atmosphere. Despite the crowds, we never had to wait for a table. The staff were consistently welcoming and courteous, making each visit pleasant and hassle-free. Menus were available both via QR code and in physical form, in both Chinese and English, complete with photos of every dish, making ordering incredibly easy. One of the standout dishes was their Xiao Long Bao, soup dumplings with delicate wrappers and flavorful fillings. We highly recommend the Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao, which includes eight different flavors for a fun and tasty experience. Other favorites included the La Mian with Prawn and Pork Wonton in Signature Pork Bone Soup (Wontons with Noodle Soup), a comforting bowl featuring four plump wontons and a generous serving of noodles, perfect for sharing. We also never skipped dessert: a warm bowl of ginger soup with three glutinous rice balls filled with fragrant black sesame paste. Though we were usually full, we always found room to share one glutinous rice ball each, just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. With its convenient location, reasonable prices, varied menu, consistent quality, and great service, Paradise Dynasty quickly became our go-to restaurant in Hong Kong. When we got back to the US, my daughter said she was craving those noodles!
