The lamb itself was gamey, so if be warned if that's not your preference. Peking duck was very good as well, though I think they serve quite a bit of meat along with the skin nowadays. The spicy pork belly with asparagus and okra was boldly flavored and I would recommend if you're comfortable with a bit of heat. Of course, what Northern Chinese dinner would be complete without some XLBs? Solid work on the XLBs here. Would recommend giving them a go. Downer was the fried prawns with salted egg. The shrimp just wasn't fresh enough and it had that mushy texture. The flavor of the salted egg didn't really come through either. So fried giant mushy shrimp... That allowed me to taste more than ten dishes of their food. They all tasted great without much to complaint. And the bill ended up at 1500$ that fed about 12 big guys. I particularly loved the fish dish which they cooked the entire fish with spices and additional meats and mushroom on the it. It tasted great with lot of flavours while the texture was smooth at the meat and crispy at the skin and bones. In comparison to the Peking Duck, the duck was a bit too thick cut. Other dishes are not big, so you may try more dishes with our limited space of our stomach. The service was attentive, even during the busy lunch hour with a lot of tables to fill, the waiting staffs gave us lot of attention to clearing our plates and even changing our dining plates as well. For the price of 100$ to 200$ per person, I think the overall service was outstanding. However, there is still room for improvement. For food, although they all tasted wonderful, I have a feeling that some of them could be better, such as the peking duck. As for service, if they are to welcome us verbally, I think they should have done it with greater enthusiasm. Anyhow, I will come back when I ever need to drop by in the weekend.

The honey-glazed char siu was my favorite, beautifully caramelized on the outside with slightly charred edges, while the pork was tender and juicy. Definitely one of the dishes I'd order again. The har gow had plump shrimp inside thin, delicate wrappers, while the siu mai were generously filled and really satisfying. The xiao long bao had soft wrappers with that little burst of soup inside, and the bean curd skin rolls were silky and soaked up the savory sauce nicely. We also had the beef with silky scrambled egg and rice noodles, which was rich and comforting, with the soft egg almost becoming a sauce for the beef and noodles. The fried rice was darker and more intensely seasoned than the usual Cantonese fried rice, with bits of meat, egg and vegetables throughout. Even the stir-fried Chinese greens were done well, garlicky, fresh and still crisp. We ended with the pork buns, warm and fluffy inside with that sweet, crumbly golden crust on top. Service was attentive The restaurant is large and quite traditional, and it was packed during lunch with lots of local families. Aside for the normal menu, they offer 2 types of Ramen that is exclusive to Tung Chung Branch. One is Tokyo Shoyu (soy sauce broth) and the other is Hakodate Shio (salt broth). Topping for both ramen appears to be the same aside from the broth flavors. The toppings consist of braised pork (chashu), bamboo shoots, spinach, fish cake with thick noodles. As of 09 SEP 2019, they do not have their liquor license yet and looking to it as a frozen Kirin Ichiban hoes really nice with a bowl of ramen.
