This little shop opened about 2 months ago, by a lady from Taiwan. The shop is small and filled all the time, so expect to share table. The three of us sat a table of four, and the shop arranged a solo diner to share our table.
They have laminated menu where you can use a crayon to fill in the order on your own.
As beef noodle soup is one of the most famous dishes from Taiwan, of course we need to order one. We picked the tomato based one, for a bit of change. The house made noodle has nice texture and the tomato broth is delicious. The four half-inch thick slices of beef shank is very tender.
The soupless noodle is lacking in the sesame flavor. The fried pork chop is on the lean side so it comes out slightly dry, but the breading is light and crunchy. The Fried chicken and the minced pork rice are other popular Taiwanese dishes, and the waiter will offer extra minced pork (free) should you want more to mix into your rice.
We came for lunch and the set lunch includes drink. Great value. read more
