What with the limited space here it's hard to get a place that has a huge amount of taps, the ones that do usually has a handful of local stuff as a token before there are a lot of other (great) but not local brews. All of the taps here were either from local breweries or breweries that made beer in HK (not necessarily a mutual relationship.) The prices here are actually pretty good- the prices here are fairly reasonable by HK standards.

They are a Asian/Western fusion restaurant and gastropub. We tried their wagyu burger and udon noodle carbonara. The wagyu burger had gruyere, bacon, and a chili tomato jam which was an interesting relish. The udon noodle carbonara had ham, poached duck egg, and parmesan and was interesting with its fusion of Japanese and Italian. Very interesting eat. I would definitely keep coming here with its good food, great bar, and charming decor.

Eventually when the waitress did come to see us (after 10 mins), she moved a "reserved" sign from another table next to us and plonked it down right on our table and asked us to move. We were a bit put out by this. She then went on a mini rant telling us she's busy and that she herself was hungry. We did not care. It seems she would rather get rid of paying customers and look after herself before helping us. We were disgusted by her attitude and left immediately. Unprofessional would be too nice a description. As for drinks, the last time I went there unfortunately I was kind of ill so I did not order beer, however I ordered one Mango whatever that does not have alcohol, while my friends ordered draughts of beers... bravo... the beer here generally is rather nice and not too strong flavoured so it is great for people who cannot drink that much. Also if it is your friend's birthday, please be prepared that the lead singer will sing him/her a happy birthday song. I am not a fan as it is rather embarrassing, but the atmosphere is definitely very cool (after a few glasses). It appears to me that King Luwig BeerHall has become quite a chain now in Hong Kong, I have tried the one in Tuen Mun and honestly, the one in Tsim Sha Tsui is definitely better in terms of the atmosphere. I strongly suggest that you should make a reservation as early as possible. Not that it will be full-house but more to do with the fact that you may not be able to watch the live band perform if you just walk-in as you will be sent to the farthest table and you can barely hear what they are singing.

It's an old school pub with wooden furnishings, happy hour and darts (although of the electronic variety). It also has that typical pub smell ... stale beer mixed with cigarette smoke. The beers are cheap and you get freebie snacks to go with them. There is music and a jukebox to entertain as you down the drinks and wile away the time. It does have a homely feel to it as it appears to be run by mum/dad and the kids.
