HK street side snacks are everywhere but few look as nice as Taste Pavilion in Jordan. Located on the food famous Woosung Street, it is one of the more visible quick food options just a stone's throw away from the Temple Street Market.
They have done well repping themselves on a street that often gets so much traffic from locals by offering a myriad of tasty skewers ranging from ball shaped snacks to seafood specialties. Every newbie will be curious to the spread, but the nice guys doing the grilling are always willing to explain.
I happen to love their uni balls, which are grilled lightly after being cooked to boil in their pot of organ meats. It's smooth on the outside and creamy on the outside (#1). They have an excellent char grilled chicken leg, which is crispy and succulent, and only $15HKD. The rest of the meats are solid, but everyone has their go-to skewer.
They're open late (even later on the weekends) and are cash only. It's a reliable option when one isn't feeling the touristy vibe of Temple St and is an easy snack option for folks on the go in Jordan.
