The service is due to the fact that the tourism college is connected to this hotel, so they're very committed to making sure the students know the proper way to treat customers. Secondly, all the amenities that come with the stay were fabulous! We opted for a Harbor view King room on the executive level. Totally worth the extra coin!! Our mini bar was filled everyday and everything in it was delicious and complimentary. The breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor was a real, quality buffet. It had dim sum, traditional English breakfast items and American items as well. There was an omelette station, an udon station and a fresh juice station! This buffet was complimentary with our executive room. You could also enjoy breakfast upstairs in the Above & Beyond lounge, which we tried once. But it was a menu only option and the buffet was too good to forgo. Another perk of the executive room was the complimentary tea time and cocktail hour in the Above & Beyond lounge. The rooms are a little lacking of soundproofing, so I'd suggest earplugs and white noise if you're a light sleeper like me.

It was perfect for viewing the 8 pm Symphony of Lights on Hong Kong island and you can stream the audio soundtrack from your phone onto the speakers in the room. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. We travelled with our two daughters and the suite had kids robes and kids cups and toothbrushes waiting for them. The lounge was wonderful for a quiet breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. And the minibar in the suite was well stocked with sodas, juices, water, tea and coffee. The suite was reasonably priced versus suites in other hotels and allowed an occupancy of two adults and two children. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Filled with shops, high & low, food and easy access to convenience stores like 7/11 on the MTR level. Easy walk out to neighborhoods like Wan Chai for local eats, and strolled a little further to Central or CWB! Be sure to do booking/resy for restaurants - seems to be the way to go. The hotel itself is well maintained. The rooms are beautiful, even is it's a little dated in some areas (bathroom) but the views are amazing looking at the hills, trees and houses above. Love that they provide international plugs already, so no need to have your converters. Hospitality: staff are all friendly, warm and welcoming. They always greet their guests with a smile. Housekeeping team - top notch! I'm so glad we picked JW, over the Conrad (ugh don't ask, had the worse experience in Singapore)... since we are members of both rewards programs. I feel like the JW is more on brand as their top tier namesake. I'm happy to be a Marriott Bonvoy member and excited for more stays! Pro tip: with the Marriott Bonvoy, you get late check out, so if you decide on a late flight, you don't need to rush. Just ask Concierge to make a note of it.

Love the location-very central, Uber readily available anytime day or night, very cheap. The hotel is attached to a mall AND subway stop with lots of food and shopping on every turn. (Uber to airport is US$35, 40min drive) Amenities were adequate (they started charging for plastic stuff in 2026: shower cap, razor etc. It is a Hong Kong thing, not Hyatt). The shower pressure is strong, wifi is fast, housekeeping friendly and lounge is great. We went to the Grand Hyatt for their seafood buffet but we love the HR buffet more than the Grand. Thank you Samuel Wong and Emma Lam in the Cafe for helping us graciously every morning. We got a corner twin room and was pretty spacious. The bathroom was pretty big with a separate shower and tub. The only minor complaint was that the hallway didn't have any air conditioning but there were fans blowing out hot air. Thankfully, our room's A/C system was pretty strong. Due to the many restaurant options around the hotel, we didn't try any of the restaurants within the hotel. Hotel also had a gym and swimming pool but I didn't get a chance to try them out.

We dined at Lai Ching Heen, the 2 Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant in the hotel, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had. The breakfast buffet was also amazing, with the most options I've ever seen, ranging from Oriental to Western cuisines. Throughout our stay, the staff continued to be attentive and welcoming, making us feel relaxed and well cared for. The rooms were spotless and elegantly designed, and the hotel's pool area, overlooking Victoria Harbor, was a highlight. It includes a jacuzzi and an ice bath tub, which felt incredible on a hot summer day. Highly recommend Regent Hong Kong to anyone traveling to the city. Following two decades as its former brand, it was finally restored to its name when the hotel opened over 40 years ago. Fear not IHG fans, this flagship property will remain with IHG for the next 30 years. (#1) This is one of the most iconic hotels in HK. It's been featured in shows, movies, and music videos and it's semi-old school 80s/90s vibe is a thing of nostalgia. Don't let the exterior fool you, this hotel is still worthy of its 5 star status, where the rooms are super contemporary and modern and run for anywhere from $500-$6000 USD a night. Whether it's a high floor with city or harbour view, it's a guaranteed comfortable stay. The bed is so comfy that I wouldn't want to leave the room either. While some folks enjoy the skyline view from The Peak (#1), I think it could be argued the more impressive view is directly from here. The panoramic views of the breathtaking skyscraping cluster of Hong Kong is perfectly on display from the Kowloon waterfront, which makes for all the reasons TST is the place to be. (#3) This place is chalk full of amenities and outstanding dining options. Lai Ching Heen is their high end Cantonese establishment, NOBU for Japanese, The Steak House, Oura Bar + Lobby Lounge for their nightlife, and one of the city's greatest international buffets in Harbourside. Our room is equipped with two twin beds, a desk and chair, a refrigerator, complimentary bottles of water, and basic toiletry. Do not expect this room to be as spacious at the Hiltons in other international cities because Hong Kong real estate is a luxury. There is less than a foot of space between the two beds. Although it is not ideal for most people, it worked for us because we have young children. The narrow space is less of a hazard for our younger daughter to fall in because she tends to move a lot in her sleep. We had a slight hiccup midway through our stay in which the water did not properly drain in the shower. They were quick and efficient in resolving the issue and even brought us extra complimentary bottles of water. They have breakfast in the hotel but we opted out and went venturing for more local options. There are plenty within a 15-minute walking radius. There are also two MTR stations nearby and we used both of them extensively during our stay.

I just checked out 4 hrs ago and am writing this while my memory of it is fresh. It may have been…read morethe jet-lag induced mental fog during my overnight stay but I found this property to be one of the best HGIs I have ever been a guest at. I know that is a strong statement but my travel habits put me in hotels about 75 nights per year and 90% of them are within the Hilton portfolio of brands. That does get me treated like a high-value target by the hotels generally but this review is based primarily on the hard product of the property itself and not recognition of my loyalty status. The HGI brand in the Hilton portfolio is really aimed at being a mid-level business class hotel with full service breakfast available. It is not the cheapest brand but it is far from the nicest either (Hampton Inn and Waldorf Astoria brands have those far ends of the spectrum locked up). So no one goes to a HGI and expects a doorman, a fairly impressive lobby space, or a finer dining restaurant on property. But that is what is found here. The Kowloon location, deep in the Mong Kok neighborhood, is also ideal if you want to stay in the thick of the HK hustle and bustle with plenty of interesting areas, food shops and local life happening all around you. Walking from the hotel is easy and interesting no matter what direction you set out in and about the only downside is that it is about a 10-15 min walk to the light rail station. I don't consider that to be a deal breaker. The staff are present at the entry doors during the day while watching over some expensive cars parked in the front. During my stay, there were 4 Porsches and a Bentley parked near the door. I've never run into that at an HGI before. The rooms are typical HGI (clean, comfortable, functional) if but a bit smaller than their US counterparts. But what is lost in size is made up for by this property being a high rise building with some nice views out over the neighborhood. What does get some kudos here is the excellent shower flow pressure and the nice shower drain and door design ensuring great drainage so you aren't standing in a pond and water does not escape and get all over the floor (ridiculous half-partition showers all over Europe, I'm looking straight at you!) Finally, my stay was overnight with a departure too early to check out their breakfast option. But I'm guessing it is great given that their on property restaurant is really more of an upscale Chinese restaurant and not the usual HGI cafe'. During my stay, there were advertisements for whole suckling pig, abalone and goose foot webs, and pig lung soup to name a few. Impressive and intriguing in a great foodie sort of way! Tourists fear not as there were several western guests in the property so I'm sure you can get a proper cheeseburger if that is needed. Typical HGI standards this place is not and I only have remarkable things to report after my short stay here. I'm back through HK in 4 days and I already know where I am going to choose to stay!

It's also 20 minutes taxi ride from Disneyland and 25 minutes from the airport. The hotel itself is modern, luxurious and full of amenities. Upon arrival the bell service took our luggage and held them for about 7 hours free of charge, until our room was ready. Then they delivered it to the room as well. The check-in process was easy, they had a separate lane for Bonvoy Platinum and above members. Since our room wasn't ready, they gave a temporary card to access the lounge and other hotel amenities. The hotel lounge is amazing, the best kind I have seen any Marriott hotel. It has two floors looking out to the harbor. They serve excellent breakfast, including a hot station for omelettes and eggs. They also had two other restaurants for full course meals, Dynasty being one of them. We got an upgrade for our room to studio suite. It was a spacious room with the harbor view. All items in the room and bathroom were fully functional. There were TVs in both the living room and bedroom. The bathroom had both bathtub and glass door standing shower. They were considerate to put a universal converter in the room so we could plug in our US 120V electronics. There were also USB and USB-C ports in living room and bedroom. Throughout the hotel, all the staff member were amazing. Every time we had interaction with them at the lobby, lounge and reception, they were friendly, with positive attitude trying the best to help us. Among all the wonderful highlights, some of the minor annoyances were hotel's elevators were going thru renovation, so there was always little wait time to get on the elevator. In the room, the TV stand was little old. The glass door was leaking some water in the standing shower. I was super happy with my time staying at Renaissance in HK because of its location, amenities, quality, service and ease of accessibility to tourist spots. For my future HK visits, I'll surely consider staying at Renaissance will again.
