There's a pathway from the second floor to the mall. There's a roof top bar, with excellent food and amazing view of Hong Kong skyline. The rooms are very nice. Comfortable bed, shower is separate from toilet. Room service people are very friendly. The hotel in popular Tai Koo area. Lots of shopping, giant train station, lots of restaurants available near the hotel. An amazing place to stay.

Hotel is located on the eastern side of HK Island and is about a 30 min MTR (subway) ride to central. Conveniently next to City Plaza mall where there is a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a modern feel and layout. The beds and pillows are comfy and the hotel has installed filtered water faucets in everyone room to go "green" and reduce water bottle consumption. My one gripe is the bathroom layout for standard rooms. Since the standard rooms are not large, the bathroom has an open layout. If traveling alone, this is not an issue. However, if traveling with a friend or a significant other, you can hear all the bathroom "sounds" from everywhere in the room. The one positive about the bathroom is the waterfall shower! Overall, great hotel with modern amenities in a great location at a decent price. Convenient to the mall and restaurants and MTR. Would definitely recommend if you want to get away from the crowds of central and save some money!

Check-in was smooth and efficient, with three staff members at the front desk. I was assigned Ro no noom 1505, a corner room with one double bed. I had assumed a "double" would be closer to a queen size, but that was not the case. The bed was smaller than expected, and the room itself felt quite tight--even by Hong Kong standards. That said, the essentials were solid. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, and the bathroom had strong water pressure with consistent hot water. Toiletries were from Elemis, which was a nice touch. The desk, however, was extremely small--so compact that it was difficult to sit comfortably and use it for any extended period. Daily housekeeping is available, though I chose not to use it. The TV offered a few international news channels, which I appreciated given the ongoing tensions involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran--it was helpful to stay informed. The hotel also offers breakfast, but we did not try it during this stay. Amenities are limited: the gym is quite small, and the pool was closed for maintenance at the time of our visit. Overall, every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. Special thanks to Calvin at the concierge desk for his excellent local snack recommendations.

North Point, Hong Kong Island

Review #700 I…read moreprobably read like three dozen reviews to find the best hotel that suits our specific wish list for our trip to Hong Kong and Asia. Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour checked almost all of the boxes and the best part was we redeemed our stay using points. North Point is a nice and safe neighborhood. It might not be as convenient as staying in Causeway Bay (where my sister stayed) or on the Kowloon side, but it's less crowded. We still have 7-Eleven, restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. Two blocks from MTR. The ferry is downstairs. Starbucks and YiFang are on the ground level if you miss home. This 5 stars hotel has all of the amenities that you can expect. Our room on the 9th floor has a nice view of Victoria Harbor and Kowlooon. A small sitting area in the corner with a desk to do some work. Slippers, ropes, iron and iron boards, toiletries are all provided. They even have a fancy coffee/hot water machine. It took us a while to figure out how to use it but it's amazing. I need a cup of warm water first thing in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and I crashed each night from all the walking and activities. The room felt clean and housekeeping are great. Not on our list, but there is a pool on the top floor with the amazing view. Hong Kong is hot and humid even during early December, so an option to swim is nice. Even if you don't swim, it's still nice to sit by the pool and enjoy the view. Tip: You can store your luggage with concierge for free. That worked really well for us because we went to Malaysia for 3 days and came back to HK. I can't recommend this hotel enough and will likely stay here again in the future.

This is a grand hotel located at North point . The location…read moreis great with Harbour view ,near by MTR stations, many shopping malls and famous restaurants closed by . Hotel has excellent customer service and that s why they are 5 stars hotel . We arrived early in the morning like 8 am . They have the service to keep our luggage so that we could go out without worrying about them . They also told us that our room would be ready by one pm so we could have an early check in . The lobby was grand and beautiful. Just happened to see a married couples in traditional Chinese clothes with video and camera team ... walking down their stairs to the lobby . Their lounge and restaurants are beautifully decorated, with a lot of food choice and full bar service. We booked the seafood buffet on Saturday evening . The Buffett includes lobster , abalone , etc . It is on special promotions as buy one get one free . The price cheaper at lunch time and almost double the price for dinner ( specular dinner ocean views ) . Weekdays are cheaper than Friday , Saturday & Sunday . The promotion will end in March 30,2026 but they will have a new promotion soon for different dates. The room was beautiful with many nice amenities. I like the night light under the night table so I can see when the light is off and nothing too bright to affect my sleep . Bathroom has a bathtub for jacuzzi and a standing shower next to it . The toilet and sink are modern designs with a classic touch . Very elegant . They gave us two coupons for free drinks at the lounge after we checked in . The room and the ambiance of the hotel made me feel relax , comfortable and delightful. Love to come here again on our next trip to Hong Kong . Happy New year ! My dear Yelp friends .

如心艾朗酒店 - Very nice.  You'll think it's small if you usually stay in the suburbs.

No-nonsense hotel that is extremely affordable (largest plus) and very clean. There really is no…read more"social" area to interact with others and the workout area is extremely minimal, but this hotel is within 5 minutes of some convenience stores and other small food shops. Rain showers are the best feature of the rooms to me, English tv channels are limited to some nature shows, a few news outlets and very, very old Comedy Central shows. Free drinks each day in the minibar are a nice touch. My last stay had a few blips but I've stayed several times before so I know this last one was an anomaly (and all issues were promptly resolved). If I could recommend one thing it is that the breakfast buffet should rotate some food items every day. Although decent, eating from the same main course foods for two weeks was surprising.

First, the bad: 1…read more location is terrible, it'll take over half an hour to get from the hotel to, say, Central via MTR (pro tip: download the official MTR app for travel time estimates). 2. it's not easy to find from the MTR station unless you have a map. Chong Yip Street is a tiny L-shaped road off of Hung To Road and it takes two left turns after coming out of the official B6 Exit. (pro tip: take the exits to Millennium City instead, and take the overhead pedestrian bridge to get to Millennium City Phase II, then walk straight across the lobby and down the steps. That drops you onto Chong Yip Street. The hotel is along the street on your right, but be careful not to get run over by cars driving underneath Millennium City Phase III). 3. The hotel gym is a joke. There's couple of treadmills if you're into that, but the free weights is a couple of dumbbells that go up to 10 kg. I'm not kidding. 4. There's an iPad in the room. I think it's the model from five years ago, and the screen is cracked. I didn't want to even touch it, but I had to because they had propped it up against the wall in the way of the light switches. 5. Speaking of light switches, NONE OF THEM MADE ANY SENSE. I was there for a week and I *still* don't know what switches turn on what. You just randomly hit the switches until you get what you want. Now the good: 1. The view from the top floor is amazing. You can see the old airport runway all the way to Wan Chai and The Peak. 2. Free drinks in the fridge? 3. Everything's clean and orderly. 4. It's a bit hard to find where all the neighborhood food is just from walking, since you're on the industrial/warehouse/car shop side of Kwun Tong Road. Cross over to Ngau Tau Kok Road and head *east* from the MTR to find the closest concentration of shops and restaurants.

The service is due to the fact that the tourism college is connected to this hotel, so they're very committed to making sure the students know the proper way to treat customers. Secondly, all the amenities that come with the stay were fabulous! We opted for a Harbor view King room on the executive level. Totally worth the extra coin!! Our mini bar was filled everyday and everything in it was delicious and complimentary. The breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor was a real, quality buffet. It had dim sum, traditional English breakfast items and American items as well. There was an omelette station, an udon station and a fresh juice station! This buffet was complimentary with our executive room. You could also enjoy breakfast upstairs in the Above & Beyond lounge, which we tried once. But it was a menu only option and the buffet was too good to forgo. Another perk of the executive room was the complimentary tea time and cocktail hour in the Above & Beyond lounge. The rooms are a little lacking of soundproofing, so I'd suggest earplugs and white noise if you're a light sleeper like me.

It was perfect for viewing the 8 pm Symphony of Lights on Hong Kong island and you can stream the audio soundtrack from your phone onto the speakers in the room. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. We travelled with our two daughters and the suite had kids robes and kids cups and toothbrushes waiting for them. The lounge was wonderful for a quiet breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. And the minibar in the suite was well stocked with sodas, juices, water, tea and coffee. The suite was reasonably priced versus suites in other hotels and allowed an occupancy of two adults and two children. Definitely recommend this hotel.
