Nice location close to the convention center and with ample seating and space. The coffee is just as good as anywhere but the service is a little slow. No complaints! It's worth the wait, especially after two weeks in China! read more

Both were soooo good, hot or cold. I don't think the macaroni/ham soup or the egg ham toast were anything special, and would not bother ordering these again. The place is super popular, but the line moves quick. You may be seated with strangers at the same table (seems to be common practice in busy HK restaurants). Service was questionable, but I also saw a video online that they are purposely (& famously?) rude to the customers. What made me laugh was that we had barely sat down (my butt touched the seat for 0.1 second) and the waiter already wanted our order. When we said we needed extra time to go over the menu first, we got a bit of a death stare from the waiter. Their concept seems to be "come in, eat right away, and get the hell out!" I had been forewarned by my friend about the service here though, so I wasn't surprised. I'd still come again just for the pudding.

Because it's on the 6th floor, it offers quite a relaxing arial scene. There are three rows of small coffee tables closely arranged together. I'm not a big fan of this Irish beverage, but just decided to try something unusual for a decent price HK$59 (=US$8). The coffee is quite flavorful (kind of between mild and bold), but the whisky part is definitely distinct, at least to someone that normally drinks regular coffee or latte. The entrance faces a couple of steps to an elevated level where the seating is. To the left of the entrance is baristas doing their thing but you can also see baristas on the second level too. So where do we go? We walked up the stairs to get seats and proceeded to the second level barista who then told us to order on the first level. Couldn't have been easier if the barista was more attentive by greeting and waiting for people to come up to order? Anyways, we grabbed the menu and decided to get some drinks as a break from walking. Since it was hot, I got an iced mocha. And honestly, nothing special. It was just satisfying to drink something sweet and cold. Hype? Maybe. Would I come back here again? Maybe if I was desperate enough to sit at a minimal looking spot and try another drink.

It's easily one of the better, most well-run locations I've been to. From the street, it looks like a standard storefront, but once you head inside, it completely opens up. It's deceptively big with a massive seating area in the back. Because it's a bit tucked away compared to the packed spots further down in TST or Mong Kok, it's actually an excellent setup if you need to catch a breath or get some quick work done. Just a heads up for anyone looking to connect: they give you a Wi-Fi activation code printed right on your receipt, which hooks you up with 30 minutes of solid, fast internet. The coffee is exactly what you expect--consistent, fast, and high-quality. The baristas here are super efficient, handle the morning rush well, and make ordering a breeze. I stumbled upon this little coffee shop when I took a little stroll next to Olympian City (Yup, under the burning heat but no regret) You will not expect that you may find this place in a region where mostly every other shops on the street are rather old but that is the beauty of it. This place is really cozy and relaxing since it is not located in the most crowded street in Mongkok, there are not that many customers, which definitely makes this a perfect place for chilling. The coffee is freshly made and even though one particular coffee branch is just one block away, it tastes much better and is served by a very friendly barista. Personally, I love the taste of hazelnut and every time I go there, a good old iced hazelnut latte makes my day. It is creamy and of the right amount of milk so it is not too milky. My dad got their oolong fresh milk tea which was delicate and floral, and my TKY fresh milk tea had the perfect balance of strong, deeply earthy TKY tea and fresh milk for a bold yet silky blend. I also like the fact that they use paper cups instead of all the plastic standard of milk tea shops. (If they use no lids or straws, or paper ones, that would be even more environmentally friendly). Service is efficient, the space is clean and has some seating by the windows as well as space for standing, and it's an all-around satisfying visit. It's not cheap, with the TKY fresh milk tea at $32, but nothing beats a refreshing, high-quality cup of milk tea.
