The menu is quite vast, though their lunch specials was what I cared about, and one of the items that I haven't seen much in Canada is boat noodles, so that was what I went for. They were really good! The broth had a lot of flavour, the noodles were wide, and there were plenty of pork balls and sliced pork that were all tasty. My family shared a plate of chicken wings with fish sauce and pork skewers. The chicken wings were extremely juicy, and the pork skewers were unique in that they were thinner slices than what I'm used to, and barely any fat. Service was average, there wasn't much interaction with the servers here. Nonetheless for places like this I come for the food, and I was very happy with the results.

We ordered: Grilled Pig Neck Vermicelli - Pork neck was quite nice, grilled fresh and still pretty juicy! It's not really marinated in anything strong, so you mainly taste that pork aroma. The meat is served on a bed of cold vermicelli and lettuce, both of which are v phreshhh. However, the type of vermicelli they use here is not my favourite (more springy than I would like)... perhaps I'm just used to the type that they typically serve back home in TO (less springy, more carb-y feel). Grilled Lemon Grass Pork with Shrimp Chimps - Again, freshly grilled meat is always good! Meat is served on top of a thin rice wrapper which is laid on top of the shrimp chimps to prevent the meat juice from making your chips get all soggy n gross. Love that thoughtfulness! Fried shallots and green onion oil are then sprinkled atop your chips. It's also served with nem nuong, which you just pork some on top too. This actually makes for quite a messy appetizer because everything ends up spilling everywhere LOL. Taste-wise, it's alright... nothing very mind-blowing.

Apparently every table at the restaurant was celebrating birthdays. With the lead of Chingmy, all the waitresses started coming out and danced along.
