To eat I went for a green curry while my lovely girlfriend chose the Pad Thai. The drinks arrived first, not at all what I was expecting. Perhaps it was my accent, or my poor cantonese but I was given something that looked and tasted like a combination between iced milk and lemon tea. Not great. But then the food arrived. The green curry was full of flavor, spicy and filling yet it was the pad thai that truly impressed, and like I said I just got back from Phuket! I tried, in vain, to convince my girlfriend that she really wanted the curry and really wanted to give me the pad thai. Luckily for me she said we could go 50/50. It's not that the green curry was bad, not at all, it's just that the pad thai was that good! It came with a generous helping of shrimps, which in most cheaper lunch sets restaurants usually tend to be stingy with, and the portion size was on the bigger side.
