This is the second time I've had Thai Simple Kitchen, and it was still as good as the first time I've had it. After attending an event in Causeway Bay, we were looking for a place to grab a late-ish bite. The quickest one I could think of was this place.
Because of our large group, we were able to sample a variety of dishes. We had their pomelo salad (light and fresh), deep fried chicken wings (plump and juicy), green curry (flavorful and not too spicy), bread filled with yellow curry (the bread was a little soggy from the curry), fish in a soup (good but hard to serve since it's on a unstable platform with a tea light candle under), vermicelli stir fry (one of my favorite dishes of the night), and there were other things but I didn't try them so I won't mention it.
Inside is well decorated and dimly lit for a romantic ambience. I also love that there is an huge outdoor patio for patrons to enjoy.
Food here isn't cheap, on the higher end for Thai ($200+) but I think it's worth the money. read more
