Food came fast, drinks were refreshing and they gave a lot of longan. Coconut flesh was soft and sweet. Minced pork lettuce wrap was blasting with flavors, probably better if we asked for spicy. Chicken wings were deep fried in light batter, came with a sweet and spicy sauce. Crispy and juicy but a bit too oily for my preference. Morning glory could use a little more salt, it was a good portion. We actually ordered the crab fried rice but got the shrimp fried rice. It was still very good but having some basil would of been nice. Tom yum was delicious! Pot came with fire to keep the soup hot. Staffs were friendly and I would defiantly return!

Tweaked it a bit and asked for the tom yum broth and egg noodles instead. There's an up charge for the broth but not the noodles swap. Excellent idea! The broth was nice and thick and not runny as how it is served in most Thai restaurants in California. Too bad I didn't think I would find this restaurant on here so I didn't take any photos. Also ordered the coconut jello for $48 HKG (- $6 USD) for dessert and it was good. It was nice and firm with a delicious coconut flavor and some coconut slices. Definitely order from here again on my next stop and take some photos.

A small table holds a couple menus and a cheap looking banner shows images of their menu. All that being said I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. During lunch they have close to ten different lunch sets, meat and rice mainly, and none above $50 - my kind of place! Each meal comes with a drink, and as was my usual I ordered the Ice-lemon tea. To eat I went for a green curry while my lovely girlfriend chose the Pad Thai. The drinks arrived first, not at all what I was expecting. Perhaps it was my accent, or my poor cantonese but I was given something that looked and tasted like a combination between iced milk and lemon tea. Not great. But then the food arrived. The green curry was full of flavor, spicy and filling yet it was the pad thai that truly impressed, and like I said I just got back from Phuket! I tried, in vain, to convince my girlfriend that she really wanted the curry and really wanted to give me the pad thai. Luckily for me she said we could go 50/50. It's not that the green curry was bad, not at all, it's just that the pad thai was that good! It came with a generous helping of shrimps, which in most cheaper lunch sets restaurants usually tend to be stingy with, and the portion size was on the bigger side. I had their fresh coconut which was served ice cold and hit the spot on a warm day. We then had half beef and half chicken satay. Next time I will definitely try more of their menu. They have a patio area which overlooks the beautiful beach. I love that the restaurant is mostly made up of glass windows so there's plenty of natural sunlight coming through. This place is rather pricey though. For the two coconuts and 6 skewers, it was over $200! I was a little shocked when I saw the bill.
