It comes with 2 courses or 3 courses set lunch. The main is either salad or sandwiches. We ordered a grilled chicken avocado salad, and one grilled chicken sandwiches. One set with cream of mushroom soup, while the other set with mango cheesecake. Let's briefly talk about the service, it is not great because not too many waitresses. Even we have a bit problem to ask them over for ordering. The preparation time for the food is also very long time compared to other hotel restaurants. The good side is the portion and taste. Portion is huge, and taste is good. They also didn't remind us for complimentary tea or coffee. By the time we finished, there were lots of people for afternoon tea or drinks. Follow up with the complaint on the service and the preparation food time, the manager invited us back to the Lobby Lounge for afternoon tea. This time by far way better than yesterday lunch experience. The table was set up properly with 6 seats. The manager also serves us personally during the whole time. We feel welcome this time. The tea set comes with fusion Korean style savouries and sweet. The tea set is creative and taste is good as well. Definitely worth a try!

We worked through lunch hour and decided to have the high tea here. I like the Shangri La high tea, it is bountiful with trimmed finger sandwiches, scones and petit fours. Just right if you missed lunch! Good choice of teas, I like the strong tie kwanyin. And service is excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Best part is the view out to the harbor or in to the people. That day the Hong Kong Tourist Bureau junk sailed across and back. Shangri La and the other hotel at the end of the promenade have the best and most frequent views of this ubiquitous junk. A wonderful and unique experience in Hongkong.

It has been in the making all year, debuting this summer to some mild local fanfare. The open space format is a plus, along with plenty of outdoor seating, strong drinks and a happy hour program, and a friendly staff. Kowloon isn't much of a destination for expat bars and neither is TRP, but it's an easy spot for folks not looking to venture beyond TST. And frankly, why bother? There are restaurants, stores, bars, malls, and convenience stores all within a block. Maybe there really is something to the name. The uber high ceilings are a nice interior touch, along with the subtle contemporary decor. Groups can enjoy custom cocktails, beers, and specialty drinks for a (semi-hefty) price, while being in a mix of tourists and Kowloon locals. There is beer pong and smoking happening, which more or less lends itself to the ambiance. I recommend their specialty cocktails, which again are pricey ($108+) but pack a potent punch thanks to their bartenders. But beyond the sensibilities of the drinks and decor, the staff is what brings me back. Jordan at the door, Zasha as the hostess, I've gotten far better service as a semi-regular than I would have as just a regular passerby. It's not my favorite M1 joint, but it nevertheless serves as a semi-needed nightlife venue for the neighborhood.

Proper beer and good food. Service was excellent. I had fish tacos that were awesome.read more

This is a very relaxing, informal atmosphere. It's located on the 5th floor of the Mira Hotel. Sofas and comfortable chairs, accompanied by low tables, metal lotus flower, and bamboo stocks, give a calming vibe to everyone there. The drinks are strong, delicious and refreshing. Appetizers are really good, we love the French fries. I know, you may think "you can get French fries anywhere" but these are excellent. The Quesadillas are good too. If you are looking for a more lively night, go Wednesday - Saturday when they have a live DJ, and Thursday is Arabic Night with belly dancers. They also have a hookah bar, and since it's "al fresco" the smoke doesn't really bother any other of the guests. During the day is a nice place to relax but, at night it's fun, upbeat, and great spot to meet people for a "pre-game" drink or two.

I had the tuna as entree and it was an interesting combo with buckwheat noodles and sea urchin. For main I had the duckling. When it was served we had to ask twice to make sure it wasn't steak, because it very much looked like steak! It was delicious ... The meat was juicy and soft and great tasting. Dessert was nice, nothing spectacular though. Service was abit disappointing. No one bothered to serve me when I walked into the place, which was basically a bar with a restaurant on the side. I had to look around myself for my friends. We had a waitress who was a little bit curt in her manner and tried to sell us the most expensive thing on the menu from the word go. There was also a waiter who openly admitted it was his first day when asked for recommendations. However he was attentive and nice. The biggest disappointment though, was that the lounge became a very noisy, not very classy, bar after 10 pm ... A bit like the bars on Prat Avenue. The staff closed the partition between the bar and restaurant but the atmosphere was strange. A bit of a shame as the restaurant had a fantastic view, but the set up with the bar was quite strange.

For appetizers, my family and I ordered the salmon, tuna, and pigeon. Salmon was great, tuna was meh, and the pigeon was great too. Portions were really small. As for the mains, we ordered the $688 steak and foie gras as well as the pork chop. The pork chop was a disappointment because my first thought was "wow I make better pork chops". The steak and foie gras was better but not worth it. The steak was tender but almost tasteless. I asked for salt which made it better, but it was still not as good as I had hoped. For the price we paid, I'm sure there are better places out there. If you're looking for drinks at the bar, this is the place to go. If you're looking for good food, I'd go somewhere else.
