I don't really agree with him with regards to the burger, but I do see why he likes the atmosphere- to a certain extent it may appeal to his younger days. I tried their bacon cheese burger and it came within a reasonable span of time, and while I cannot comment much on the quality, since it seemed pretty standard, they l can say that they offer very generous portions for both the burger and the fries. I appreciate the use of real cheddar and some moderately crispy bacon, but a higher quality burger patty would do their burger a world of good- it was really soft and mushy. The fries were well seasoned and crunchy, so that gave me the motivation to clean my plate after conquering the burger. As is evidenced in the presence of a souvenir shop, the Hard Rock Cafe should probably be looked at as a place that sells a lifestyle or experience. Considering the prices listed on menu items, it's hard to justify those in any other way.

After only 5 minutes waiting time they managed getting us a table with a nice view towards the stage. The staff inside was also very attentive and fast. The drinks arrived in no time. We went there for food, we wanted burger. The potion size is good - the burgers are big, presentation is nice and the ingredients seem to be fresh, including the salad on the burger. Two out the three burger two were good, nothing to complain. One burger for some reason was not so good. I think the chef got confused with grill on charcoal and grill to charcoal. I've actually showed up a few times without tickets hoping to get into a showing, and was able to get them without any problems (the seats weren't bad either!). The only issue is trying to get some sort of transportation home after a late showing--everyone will be competing for the same bus/taxi in the relatively quiet neighborhood.

With multiple screens, you can catch all the first run movies. And the matter of fact, I was here twice in a week! The theatre is a little older but well maintained and quite spacious. After midnight, there are still handful of restaurants opens for a quick snack within walking distance.

There is a concession stand selling popular Asian snacks (squid balls, boneless wings, etc.) The best was the sweet caramel popcorn, I can easily eat a large lol. The only con at Palace was the size of the 'big screen', it is quite small. Nonetheless, the leather reclining seats were very comfortable. We picked seats for the very back row in House 1, and there was plenty leg room. The journey starts with hip and stylish shops, art galleries, bars, restaurants and clubs. As you approach the escalator area, the scenes explodes up the mountain into Elgin St and the immediate neighborhood, transforming the entire area into a very hot bar, global restaurant and bar scene. Further down, the street transforms again into a Mecca for high quality Chinese antiquities such as furniture, calligraphy, stone, ceramic, porcelain, jade and other treasures. Just past the Famous Wen Wu temple you can jog down the stairs to yikes I think it's Lee St where you'll find a several block lane filled with Chinese Bric-a-brac, but it's still a fun browse for tourists. The point of my photos (and Reggie) is that as you meander through the modern art galleries, shops, restaurants and dealers, keep an eye out for the fleeting yet still present remnants of bygone Hong Kong, which still exist in the cracks, shadows and crevices of this modern, urban, sophisticated city. The dim sum is also very flavorful and higher quality than other dim sum spots. I loved their red bean jelly and Ma La Goh (Cantonese sponge cake). Dinner - the highlight for dinner for me was the eggplant, sticky ribs, red bean soup, and mango pudding. We bought seafood from the market and asked them to cook it, the long razor clams were the best. The red bean soup was so good - full of red bean flavor! The mango pudding was the second star as it was packed with chunks of mango.

The country club itself is fully staffed and has a gym and aerobics room onsite. They also can host events (there was a wedding while we were there). If you answered yes to any of the questions, then you are going to love the Iron Man Experience at Disneyland HK. The displays for the line is very impressive, with models of the ships you see on the ride. The setup is just like StarTours, including the ride sitting arrangement. Of course like any Marvel movie, Stan Lee even makes an appearance. He shows up for the safety video. The best part, JARVIS speaks Chinese during the ride and Tony Starks answers in English. Super fun ride, we rode on it at least three times during the day.
