Not a single speck of dust or unwanted hair. I can feel that the carpet was shampooed. We booked the Family Plus: - one bedroom with a King Size bed. - two twin beds. - two desk areas. - dining table area. - master bathroom has two sinks, soaking tub and a separate shower with strong water pressure. - I was surprised to find a half bathroom. - there is a spigot, water is filtered and safe for drinking. - foyer area has a bench and shoe rack - free daily breakfast at the Lion Rock restaurant. - since HK rains a lot, you can borrow the hotel's umbrella with a $100 HKD deposit. Make sure you return them when you checkout so they can cross out your name or else you'll be charge. This suite is located at the end of the hallway, giving you peace and quiet. I have to give a huge shoutout to our lovely and darling maid, Hwa, who went above and beyond. Coming back to our room on our second day, she runs up to me and asks if I needed maid service. I told her not today. She kept insisting like 3x to empty all the trash bins and replace the used towels. After I kept assuring her that she didn't need to, she still knocked on my door a minute later. When she hurriedly finished she told me to make sure I have the green light on everyday so she can tidy up. I also appreciated that she wore slippers. That is what us Asians do. Lol. I'm glad I did. I got an upgraded room with an awesome view. The room was spacious, clean and filled with amenities in the bathroom. The breakfast has options for every guest, regardless of what your breakfast "norm" is. I might be a westerner, but I can't turn down steamed dumplings no matter the time of day. Breakfast was A+ Great service too. Really friendly staff. Convenient location, with MTR and taxis at your doorstep. The Harbour City mall is attached to the hotel, so shopping and all the excitement of the city is just steps away from the comfort of your room. The furniture was in good condition. The bed was comfortable. The other amenities were cool, too. They provided a mobile phone with data to take with you while out sightseeing. The Nespresso machine came in handy. For turndown service, we got a bottle of chilled champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. It was a nice gesture. The best part for me though was the view of Victoria Harbour. It was absolutely breathtaking, day or night! Disappointingly, the service was hit or miss. The doormen were all polite and efficient but some other staff had some training to do. Although the check-in counter clerk was nice, it took her a long time to get things set up, all the while, I had to stand there waiting. Mind you, I had just been on a long flight and was more than weary. Behind me, a suit with a name tag was scrutinizing customers while pacing in the lobby. Whatever his role was in the hotel, that stare of his wasn't a welcoming one. Later in the evening, I called to ask for an extra blanket. A worker from housekeeping knocked. I opened the door. As you can see from the pictures, the only place to put them was by the seating area on the floor. There wasn't even a luggage rack. If you have more than 2 large suitcases, you're not going to have anywhere to walk. The bathroom was narrow and clean. The two beds are about twin size and only separated by a small nightstand. Sonic the person you're with snores, you better bring earplugs. The tv was a good size, maybe 36"? There were two USB adapters by the table & chairs. There weren't any outlets by the bed. Housekeeping was great. There were some days I told them they didn't need to turn down the room. Rooms could be updated. There is no bottled water; however, there are two 7/11 stores about a block away. I paid for the breakfast buffet. The buffet was just alright. I didn't think the selection was that great and the coffee wasn't to my liking. There are an abundance of restaurants, dessert places, specialty drink stores (boba, tea, etc..) that are within walking distance. I wish I knew this because I would've skipped paying for the bfast buffet; but it is convenient. The hotel is very walkable to all types of restaurants, stores, specialty drink places, lady market, the MTR, Nathan Rd (one of the main streets) and the gigantic Langham Shopping Mall on Argyle street (I believe). What I liked about the hotel is that it's 1-2 blocks from the busiest foot traffic but far enough to where you're not fighting people outside of the lobby and quiet enough. Some insights: * 7/11 stores: There's 1 about a block away & another one about 700ft. So you can get bottled water & anything else. Also, there are 2 pharmacies nearby as well. * Laundromat: Sunshine Laundry Convenience Store ( Shop 67 ) 陽光洗衣便利店 67分店 This is just 1.5 blocks away. This place was a lifesaver! There's only 3-4 W/D. You can use your octopus card or I think they take credit card as well. You can Google it but I think it's $40-$50 HKD. It automatically dispenses detergent as you wash. Great for general undergarments and dirty jeans, socks etc... * Luckin coffee: you really need to download the app or Alipay HK app. I think the drinks are discounted more if you use the apps. I couldn't do it bc you need a HK #. I was super bummed bc I love their coffee. There's a location on Nathan Rd and Argyle Rd. * ChaTraMue: this is just 3-4 blocks away. I wish I discovered this place earlier on. I got their coffee latte w/boba. It's one of their specialty drinks. It was SO GOOD! * Zoff: If you need glasses, this place has great frames. You can get your eyes checked and grams within 30mins-an hour! They're great. I didn't want to drag my suitcase through all the foot traffic so I ended up calling an Uber, which is very reasonable. Detailed Review - stayed for 30 days…read more I stayed at LTH for a month in May/June 2018 (heatwave and 100% humidity). This is a newer serviced apartment. Not too many locals or taxi drivers are well known of this establishment; not a bad thing. I picked LTH for its low key, location, and home away from home feel. I don't want to walk in and out of a grand hotel lobby for a month. -Location LTH's lobby is very petite. It has two entrances. One is on Tun Low Wan Road and the other is on Lin Fa Kung West Street. There is no large signage. On the street level, there is the Second Draft (brewery/restaurant) in the middle of these two entrances. You will enter/exit the building with the room key card or the staff will buzz you in/out. It is more security than a large hotel as the staff generally knows who's who. There are so many good restaurants to choose and select from within walking distance. There is a HK cafe (cha chan tang) right next door. It is a clean restaurant with AC and friendly service. Food wise, it is only average but their bakery is decent. Bus station, Tram (DingDing) and MTR are only 2 small blocks away from the building It is located toward to the lush Victoria Park. Bus 5X (express) bus stop is only feets away LTH. However, LTH is a step away from the main street. To catch a taxi, it is not easy but not impossible. There are many taxis change over in the early morning at the bottom of LTH but it depends on the taxi drivers to service you to your destination or not. Yes. It is up to them not the passengers. So, Uber it if needed and all possible. The ~150-degree view - on 20+ floor. The view is amazing no matter it is on a suffocating, humid sunny day or yellow rain day. The Victoria Harbor and TST are right in front of you. Sitting on the small love seat to watch the water traffic and weather transformation is quite interesting. On two lucky days, I watched the great sunset from start to finish without any obstruction. Lin Fa Kuang (temple) is right behind LTH. There is a small park next to the temple with lots of trees and some birds and butterflies flying around; amazing for a concrete-city like HK. On the other hand, there are green in front and behind LTH. I enjoyed this environment inside the AC room a lot. =P For grocery shopping, there are two nearby options. There is an International Market by Jason toward Causeway Bay Road. Park N Shop is around the corner of the cafe. -Room It is HK size. So, my harbor view room is only ~350sqft big with a decent size bathroom (larger shower), kitchenette, closet, small love couch and bedding area. From time to time, I ventured to the 5th floor where the gym and common living room with a kitchen counter (Nespresso coffee and some small treats) to read, enjoy a beverage. *My only concern during my one-month stay is the pillows. They offer two types of pillow softness scale. It is stiff and a little less stiff. I requested for a softer version. The housekeeper told me I have both selection already and which one do I want to swap. My neck suffered for the entire month. -Laundry It is located on the 7th floor. There are maybe half a dozen of washer/dryers. Some hit and miss laundry power hidden by the machines. I used my own laundry detergent and sanitizer. Housekeeping The housekeeping team offers good service. Actually, all the staff will remove their shoes before entering my room. I noticed they do it with or without being watched; I appreciated a lot. On day 2-3, I learned that they change the duvet cover every two days and do not use a top sheet. You can use a top sheet upon request with extra charge. Dishes/glasses/mugs are hand washed by the housekeeper. They looked clean and did a good job but I still preferred fresh machine washed utensils after a week. Later, I purchased my own sponge and dish detergent to clean my own dishes whenever possible. LTH Staff They are all very hard working, friendly and knowledgeable. I think all of them speak English. -Notes There is no swimming pool at LTH. But, I think there is a large public swimming pool nearby. The swimming pool across from LTH is a separate members only facility. The HK Central Library is the yellow square building; about one block away. This is a non-smoking serviced apartment. If I will visit HK again, I will consider staying at LTH again if the pillow issue is resolved. It would be a 5-star rating if there is a small swimming pool on site and softer pillows to select from. All in all, it was a good memorable trip.

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour checked almost all of the boxes and the best part was we redeemed our stay using points. North Point is a nice and safe neighborhood. It might not be as convenient as staying in Causeway Bay (where my sister stayed) or on the Kowloon side, but it's less crowded. We still have 7-Eleven, restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. Two blocks from MTR. The ferry is downstairs. Starbucks and YiFang are on the ground level if you miss home. This 5 stars hotel has all of the amenities that you can expect. Our room on the 9th floor has a nice view of Victoria Harbor and Kowlooon. A small sitting area in the corner with a desk to do some work. Slippers, ropes, iron and iron boards, toiletries are all provided. They even have a fancy coffee/hot water machine. It took us a while to figure out how to use it but it's amazing. I need a cup of warm water first thing in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and I crashed each night from all the walking and activities. The room felt clean and housekeeping are great. Not on our list, but there is a pool on the top floor with the amazing view. Hong Kong is hot and humid even during early December, so an option to swim is nice. Even if you don't swim, it's still nice to sit by the pool and enjoy the view. Tip: You can store your luggage with concierge for free. That worked really well for us because we went to Malaysia for 3 days and came back to HK. I can't recommend this hotel enough and will likely stay here again in the future.

Their lounge and restaurants are beautifully decorated, with a lot of food choice and full bar service. We booked the seafood buffet on Saturday evening . The Buffett includes lobster , abalone , etc . It is on special promotions as buy one get one free . The price cheaper at lunch time and almost double the price for dinner ( specular dinner ocean views ) . Weekdays are cheaper than Friday , Saturday & Sunday . The promotion will end in March 30,2026 but they will have a new promotion soon for different dates. The room was beautiful with many nice amenities. I like the night light under the night table so I can see when the light is off and nothing too bright to affect my sleep . Bathroom has a bathtub for jacuzzi and a standing shower next to it . The toilet and sink are modern designs with a classic touch . Very elegant . They gave us two coupons for free drinks at the lounge after we checked in . We also had beverages and snacks in our room that were refilled daily- the snacks were perfect to take on the go and the mini bar was great for relaxing at the end of the day. Then there was the harbor view- thinking about that view even all of these years later still takes my breath away. The staff were as sweet and accommodating as could be, ensuring that our stay was nothing less than perfect. If there is anything to take away from this review is that I had such a fond experience with this hotel that I could write a review about it five years later.
