Great design and great Korean food. One of the few places that serves kimchi jigae. The surface was fast and friendly. The ambience was very cool and scenic. Their Korean pancakes are popular.

I love trying new Korean places so I decided to stop in on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy they have plenty of tables open and they were very fast with the service. The place is a very casual à la carte Korean place not kbbq with the grill. We ordered and maybe 5-10 min later we had the food out and everything looked and tasted very fresh! I didn't get to try any of the pancakes they specialize in but I hope to come back and try them!

We had a craving for their seafood pancake, to my disappointment, it was really thin and not much seafood, but tons of green onions! We also had the fried mozzarella sticks, gyoza and a beef with tofu!My favorite was the beef & soft tofu stew, the tofu was very silky and had a lot of flavor, enough for two people! The mozzarella sticks were very cheesy and hot! There's a bell for you to ring if you need service, which is very convenient. The ban chans were good too! They had 7 different types and it's unlimited!

Zzizim is a solid choice with good prices and generous portions. The seafood pancake stands out; it has a great thin texture and excellent flavor. I'll definitely return to try the other items.

Still great! We love having a place we can come to on a busy weekend. Luckily they accept reservations so I'm glad we were able to get one. I loved chatting with my friend and catching up in the separate room. The service is a push to call button. The women's bathroom seems to be updated from the last time or I can't remember, but it was very clean and a little fancy. New looking countertop and had a little freshening up area with some complimentary pads and mouthwash. There's also a baby changing station if needed. Food is great as I'm still glad I found a place as consistent as this. My favorite dish would have to be the marinated grilled pork. Fried dumplings were great as well. We will always order the deep fried braised chicken. We got the Kimchi stew as usual but barely touched it this time just cause we were so full from the other items. We got the fluffiest steamed egg ever. I love that I can bring people here without disappointment. Keep up the good work!

Great korean food as always. They updated their menu and have more options. Service is always great too.

Had another meal here and really do enjoy their pancakes! Feel their other dishes are a bit...muted and overpriced but still a solid place to have Korean food! Service is always great and quick. Especially love the green onion salad.

Highly rated Korean food in Carrollton - so we had to go try it! Was a bit disappointed. Ordered the Small Assorted Pancakes and Short Ribs. The short ribs were okay. Meat was very soft and didn't have that nice chard taste to it. The variety pancakes were lacking. We only enjoyed the pork belly, fish, and crabmeat. Everything else was a miss.

The spicy beef soup and pancakes were awesome! I normally don't eat pancakes but this was amazing! The sauce was perfect!

Almost cleaned house!

Wow! Reminds us of Korean food in LA. Probably the best we've had in Carrollton/DFW for sure! Seafood pancake was huge and delish! I had seafood soondubu and my wife had jjampang spicy seafood noodles. So good! Everything had great flavor! New fave spot!

We ordered the Assorted Pancakes (small) and the Marinated/Grilled Pork. There were three of us that shared the meal & the food gave us a good variety and they had good portions! They also had buttons to call the server and each booth provided good privacy for each group. They also had 3 different rooms for large groups.

A hidden gem! I came here because it was open pretty late and my mom and I were craving Korean food. Service was quick, and the interior was comfortable and clean. We ordered a seafood green onion pancake and two beef tofu soups. Lemme tell you.. that this was the best seafood pancake I've ever had. I usually don't care for it much but my mom loves it so we got it. The pancake was huge and thinly battered so it was extra crispy, and it had so much green onion in it! The seafood in it tasted fresh as well. The sauce that it comes with is also delicious. Our tofu soup was also really good, and the perfect spice level for me! You can also adjust the spice level to your liking when you order. For the sides, they were pretty good but I wish it came with normal kimchi as well, but not a big deal. You MUST come try their seafood green onion pancake, it changed my life!!

This is hands down the best Korean seafood pancake in DFW. True to their name, the pancakes are exceptional--thin, crispy, and not too doughy, which sets them apart. The green onions are whole, fresh, and add great flavor. While their other dishes are solid, the seafood pancake is definitely the highlight and worth coming back for. The service is attentive, and they offer private rooms for larger groups, which is a nice touch for bigger parties

Very tasty place with the best fried and braised chicken, HUGE bowls of soup and yummy green grape soju. Can't wait to go back!

It wasn't her favorite because she was expecting cream cheese rather than ricotta. But I think that's just a matter of taste. The kids got a cookies and cream souffle pancake. It was very good. The pancakes themselves were better than other souffle pancakes I have had. I also thought the cappuccino was very good. Nice people. I also like that it was a cozy environment in a mixed use area. It's close to HMart, which is convenient too. I would try the basque cheesecake next time.

We ordered ours to go and still had a great experience. The server was really friendly and helpful, and the pancakes were incredibly fluffy. I especially loved that the pancake batter itself isn't overly sweet. The real highlight is the cream that comes with it--it's light, delicious, and served on the side so the pancakes don't get soggy. Such a thoughtful touch! Even as takeout, the pancakes held up well and were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the wait if you're in the mood for soft, airy soufflé pancakes. Would happily come back again!

First up, the pirogies--holy moly, these little pockets of joy were just unreal. Perfectly soft, stuffed to the brim, and fried up just right. I'm pretty sure if my tasted these, she'd give a polite nod and say, "Not bad, eh?" Then came the pot roast poutine, and let me tell ya--this isn't just food, it's a life experience. You've got those crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds (as they should be, eh!), and gravy so rich it could probably pay rent in Toronto. And then--BAM--tender pot roast on top. I nearly stood up and sang "O Canada," no joke. Now the Canadian Eggs Benedict? Ohhh, beauty. The peameal bacon was thick, juicy, and cooked just right, sittin' pretty under those poached eggs with hollandaise sauce that was smoother than a fresh sheet of ice. Absolute perfection, eh. And don't even get me started on the everyday breakfast. Classic, hearty, and no funny business--just how we like it. Eggs done right, toast that actually tastes like toast (imagine that!), and portions big enough to fuel ya through a full day of shovelin' snow... or, you know, strolling around Dallas. All in all, Maple Leaf Diner absolutely crushed it. Let me tell ya, the service was so fast and smooth, I thought I was dreaming eh. Great food, friendly vibes, and enough Canadian charm to make ya wanna say "sorry" when someone else bumps into you. 10/10, would recommend--now pass the syrup, eh?
