You have to pay for water here.... Tiny water :(

Revolving sushi place with one chef and one waiter. Our sushi chef was very nice and cheerful, can't say the same for the waiter. Cannot bring outside water. So instead they charge you 2.5 euro for a tiny water (1 glass). A bit pricy for sushi, but free WiFi! Their lunch specials is a bit cheaper alternative to getting a bunch of dishes.

Very expensive for the quality of the sushi. Be careful when picking up plates, some look very similar to others.

Place is ok. Because items on the belt can sit a while, it is not freshest. But it was the only place open around 11.

If you are sharing a meal with someone, get items from a different prix-fixe menu and you can both try a variety of items. We enjoyed: * Charcuterie plate: sausages taste minimally processed and delicious * Beef and onion stew: taste slightly different than ones in America * Cauliflower and cheese oven bake: vegetarian's comfort food * Hutspot (mashed potatoes and carrots) and meatballs: non-vegetarian's comfort food * Pea soup with smoked ham For desserts, we had chocolate mousse and vlaflip (vanilla custard) and they were just okay. I'm not sure if desserts are the Dutch's strengths, except maybe the Dutch apple pie. They even bottle their own house beer. The restaurant is small. Try to make a reservation if you can. We didn't have a reservation, but went to the restaurant at around 5PM and were seated in about 15 minutes. At times, the line could get very long, but the staff is still welcoming and ensures that everyone gets served...eventually.

Traditional Dutch foods, served in a charming/cozy dining room - what's not to love? Portions are substantial and a very good value in a neighborhood where tourist-markups are the norm. They have a/c, but in order to feel it you'll need to sit closer to the back of the restaurant/near the kitchen, as there is only one wall unit back there, and they leave the front of the restaurant open to the elements (even in 98+ degree heat).

The Pantry - I hadn't had Dutch apple pie since my days waiting tables at Denny's, in the '80s & this was well worth the wait.

We dropped off our little frame with our mothers in it. The server originally asked us to place it wherever we see fit, but the owner (she has the manager vibe) came over and helped us picked an even better spot! Service was what I thought was slow, but then we learned that Dutch people are very customer-focused, so we had to initiate an eye contact and signal to them that we are ready to close our check. I also found out that tipping is not required. Who would have thought? Oh, and also water is not free. Lastly, be sure to make a reservation because this place very packed for the duration of our meal and some people got turned away.

Comes with two kinds of beef stew, 2 two kinds of potatoes, apple sauce, cabbage, and sausages over mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Everything was really good! No strong flavors, but all cooked well. Service was very good and the ambiance is funny! Place is covered with pictures of moms that the customers have brought in. We loved it! N*joy...
