I've been to this restaurant on two separate occasions - once for lunch about a year ago, and another time more recently for dinner. Both times I had the all you can eat menu, however I believe that now they only have this available for dinner.
The concept is technically not all you can eat, but that you can order 25 dishes and one drink per person for €29. Trust me though, I went with some big eaters, and we were all done after about 15 each. You won't find yourself lacking
The great thing is that you can choose from an abundance of items, not just the most inexpensive things. As a result, we were feasting on sashimi, sushi rolls, all kinds of meats and seafoods, as well as desserts. You cans also choose soups and noodle dishes too. It was really excellent value for money (provided you can eat, and I mean REALLY eat).
The service is very prompt. You order your food via an iPad at the table, and they bring it as it becomes ready in the kitchen. Be prepared to have ten different plates on your table. You can also request to pay by using the iPad to call someone over.
The ambience was lively on the evening we were there, and the restaurant it quite well located with some big windows looking out across the channel towards the north. The interior is a little older and the restrooms are small, but generally it's a nice place to have a meal both for couples and larger groups. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Amsterdam. read more
